We love going here. The food never disappoints. The drinks are spot on. Service is excellent. They are very attentive. The outside patio seating is beautiful and the have heaters if it's chilly. Dogs are allowed on the patio.

We've been fortunate to dine here several times. It's always such a treat. During this last visit, the restaurant was decorated very tastefully for the holidays. I love the warm lighting inside. I had the lamb and israel couscous which i loved! i don't usually like israeli couscous, but i loved it in this dish. There was just the right amount and it was dressed with brussel sprouts, persimmons and jus. Such a perfect winter meal. We also enjoyed the pepper and cheese fried biscuits, oxtail and lentil and the onion and goat cheese tart. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious! Service was warm, knowledgeable and efficient. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Busy and full restaurant- made for a fun night here. Food and service were both great. Writing this after the fact and can't remember what we ate- but we all enjoyed our food, apps, drinks and wine immensely.

This restaurant is amazing! We had reservations, and ended up cancelling. But our concierge, Maria, at The Harvest Inn where we were staying said it's the best and we absolutely needed to go, so we went and super happy we did! Shout out to Maria at The Harvest Inn! We started off ordering two cocktails, the CLEAR CONSCIENCE which is vodka, cucumber, ginger, and lime and the PLEAD THE PITH which is mezcal, punt e mes, grapefruit, and salt. Both great! And an appetizer, the beef tartare. The bread came warm and soft, and the butter to die for! We ordered the NICOISE SALAD which is tuna conserva, baby potatoes, olives haricot verts, garden lettuces, and farm egg. My husband LOVED IT! I ordered the CHICKEN POT PIE with chicken, carrots, potatoes, leeks, button mushrooms, and veloute. It was not on the menu, and was a special. Seriously the best I've ever had! I'm still craving it, I'd eat it everyday if I could. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh. The service was impeccable, our waiter was so nice and funny, and our table was always clean. Multiple servers would come by and clean up our crumbs! They have outside and indoor seating. I'll definitely come back!

My friend and I had a reservation at Angele and came for dinner. The atmosphere is French and charming, and even on a Tuesday night the restaurant was quite busy. We both had great cocktails and started with the salmon mousse, which was amazing. I love beef tartare so I had to try it, but this one didn't blow me away. Something was mixed in that overpowered the whole dish. For my main course I had the beef bourguignon (I can never spell that right), and it was so tasty. I'd definitely come back!

Had a wonderful dinner at Angèle to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was very good, with generous portions and prepared at a very high level. One highlight was my Fox Hunt cocktail, very tasty! Lastly, the restaurant setting and ambience reminded us of a quaint French farmhouse, really cute. The staff was also excellent, acknowledging my wife's birthday and the reservation mix up (my original reservation was canceled unexpectedly and I had to rebook). Throughout the evening, they checked in on us, helped us pace our order to have a relaxing dinner, really showed they cared - true professionals. All in all, I'd recommend Angèle to friends and family with confidence.

This was our first time at Angèle. We had a 715 reservation on a Saturday evening, but we're not seated 20 minutes later. They were super apologetic and gave us a huge order of fries. We love the ambience and vibe of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive along with the bus boys. Empty dishes were always cleared and no water glasses were always filled. Now let's talk about the food, we ordered the escargot, sea bream, mussels, steak frites, and agnolotti. All the dishes were excellent! It was overall a great meal. We're definitely coming back the next time we are in Napa.

Lunch was great and yummy! Onion soup was tasty as it was not overly salted, mussels were just cooked perfect! Staff were very friendly. The restaurant is very pretty with some sinpke beautiful flower arrangement. A 4 1/2 star would've been given, because staff asked "if we wanted another lemonade?" So, thought it was a free refill (we should've asked). Instead he could have said "Do you want to order another lemonade?" All over lunch was very good. We would definitely go back!

Day trip to Napa and after wondering around downtown for a few hours ended up walking here to Angele. Venue sits next to the Napa River and we sat outside under a covered awning. The weather was perfect to be outside. Wait staff was quick to take our orders and everything came out tasting great. Definitely a place to have a nice romantic date as well as come with a group of friends.

Angele was such a great dinner experience. We went to celebrate a birthday with a big group, and the service was very attentive from start to finish. The roasted heritage chicken and the wild mushrooms were my favorites, and of course the wine was perfect. The cocktails were also really well made. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, even though we sat outside, we stayed warm thanks to the heaters. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Love how close Napa is ....The most perfect day in wine country! Dinner at a fav -Angele! Seriously amazing French food with some great homemade pasta selections too. Great creative drink list! We had the garlicky delish escargot to start, along with the crisp fried artichoke hearts. Both are must gets! The beef bourguignon was everyone's fav- fall apart short rib with classic veggies and a dark sauce over homemade pasta. The rigatoni with sausage, broccoli rabe, and breadcrumbs was amazing! And of course I had to get the duck! Crispy confit of duck leg and thigh, served tonight (prep varies) with greens, sunchokes, and a huckleberry sauce that was not sweet. Desserts looked killer but we decided to go next door and drink ours at The Fink. This amazing bar has a book (for real) of craft cocktails in a super cool atmosphere. Love Napa!

A great place for a nice dinner! We had outdoor seating and, although we don't get a view of the water, the food and service made this place well worth it. The Veil was very tender and the surrounding sauce was the perfect pairing. The fried artichoke hearts tasted even better than chicken.

    Mushroom risotto was perfect!

We visited Napa a few years back and this was one of my favorite spots. Still is. First of all the location is gorgeous. We sat outside and looked out over the water. Very romantic and Napa weather is perfection. We had the olives to start and house made brioche. So yummy. I ended up with the mushroom risotto and hubby had the steak with their fries. The meal was the perfect end to the magic of Napa and wine tastings. Service was exceptional and I am dreaming of my next trip to wine country and another visit to Angèle.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

Conveniently located near several downtown staple stops, it's an easy addition to an afternoon or evening exploring the area. The cocktail menu is extensive, with plenty of creative options and stories behind many of the drinks. For my fellow gin cocktail girlies, I'd recommend starting with the Bronx Cocktail. For round two, the Bee's Sneeze is another solid choice. I paired my drinks with the lobster roll, which was the standout food item of my visit. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly toasted. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The staff was welcoming. If you're looking to trade wine tasting for a cocktail side quest, The Fink is definitely worth a visit.

I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on. An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.
