Perfect place to sit down for lunch or dinner on a warm Spring/Summer day. I specifically went to try the 'thinny thin' pizza. Situated on the 'boardwalk', we ate outside with a perfect view of the lake. The staff was very welcoming & friendly. We ordered 2 thinny thins (one pepperoni & one meat lovers) & wings. The wings came out first; they were golden & crispy and had good flavor to them. The pizza truly lived up to its name. Oddly, both pies arrived at our table room temperature. Despite not being piping hot, it was tasty.

A beautiful location overlooking Lake Mohawk in Sparta and known for crispy very thin crust pizza. The servers were pleasant and efficient, the outdoor seating lovely. The Caesar salad was shared by 2 of us along with the pizza. This is not a traditional pie but rather very thin with a crispy cheesy crust. Bring the kids and sit near the door...every time the door closes it sounds like a fart! The kids will love it and we got quite a chuckle out of it! Enjoy. It was fun!

Pretty good pizza spot, pulled up to the board walk from the boat to grab a regular Plain pizza surprised how good it was, doesn't seem to be like a normal pizza place where they have a counter for individual slices ect, I would definitely choose this place over casa Mia any day

The pizza is phenomenal. If you like thin crust, pizza, and I mean, cracker thin, then you must try Angeloni's. I had half plain and half sausage and mushroom. Pizza was cooked to perfection. Do you have to wait a little while for your pizza because they cook it fresh to order. Just incredible! I forgot to mention the great service. My waitress was super attentive and brought me a free sample of the garlic knots that she was raving about. They were amazing too. :-)

Love the pizza and sandwiches at Angeloni's. The only problem is that sometimes, there is a long wait for the food so it is best to go on "off" hours if you can. Or just be prepared to wait. I enjoy it there.

Sorry... if you are going open the 29th pizza spot in Sparta it better be good. This was 1 out of 10. Understand delivery mishaps can happen but the pizza was just terrible. Had a weird after taste (kind of like that tallow taste you get from Burger & Butcher - really off putting) and was burned. On the delivery front... first attempt was missing one of two pizzas. Second attempt... pizza comes and is burned and completely tilted during delivery. Thanks but no thanks. Place is done

We sat outside with a beautiful view of Lake Mohawk. The service was great, matched by the delicious food.

We were seated quickly and Anthony, our server, stopped by right away with menus, a bottle of water and glasses, and a tray of bread, olive oil, olives, and cheese. We hoovered up everything that he'd brought to us- the bread was fantastic. I mean- wow.... seriously good bread! We both ordered a pasta dish, I got linguine with bolognese sauce, my wife ordered a seafood penne dish. She had originally opted for the lobster mac and cheese- but they were sold out... :-( Being from Queens and transplanted to NJ as a kid, I'm very pasta savvy. The linguine was perfectly cooked- just a little bite. The Bolognese sauce was also on-point. So many NJ pizzerias think that mashing up a meatball and adding it to a ladle of sauce is ok.... This was the real deal. Both plates had huge portions, as well. We were both slightly disappointed- no bread, no spoon, no cheese. Anthony made his way back to the table and rectified those issues. More of that fabulous bread, ha ha! Look- I can absolutely say that i'll be back. Food was good... Place was nice...

The ambiance was very relaxed and the service was quick and helpful. Our order were specialty slices of chicken/shredded spinach/cheese/balsamic glaze and a Chicken Francaise slice. Both slices were DELICIOUS, at the perfect temperature, and the slices were large. The chicken slice had a crunchy underside and I haven't had too many pizza slices this good. If you're in the Sparta area, do not hesitate to enjoy a meal at Pizza One. If that's too out of the way, there are other locations in Wayne, NJ, and in Scarsdale, NY.

Modern inside but still has that classic Jersey diner feel to it. I ordered the traditional breakfast of 2 eggs over easy with bacon, hash browns, and toast. Plenty of bacon and the hash browns had a nice crisp to them. Multi grain toast was a nice option. Good place to stop if you're around Sparta. Large menu, good food!

I ordered the Southwest Salmon burger which I have had several times. It's usually amazing. Unfortunately, today the Salmon had a strong, pungent, sour taste. It must have spoiled. The waiter took it back without an issue and I substituted a tuna melt which was excellent. I also ordered a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder which was top notch. Very fresh broth with lots of veggies and chunks of clam. There are many ways to judge a restaurant. It's easy when everything goes right. But also how a restaurant responds when something goes wrong. It this case they did the right thing. No harm, no foul. This diner is always immaculate and tastefully appointed. With all that said, most restaurants serve a clunker every now and again. I still feel that the Sparta Classic is among the best diners in Sussex county. I look forward toy next visit.
