I got the eggplant parmigiana. It was amazing loved it. Side of onion ring could not be beat. Friend had the steak and cheese calzone and the liked it. The service was great very helpful. The vibe is like eating at family place. I just wish I didn't forget my leftover on the table. I will be back soon and no forgetting my leftovers.

We were invited to a family holiday gathering here and had an opportunity to try their family style buffet offerings. We had the back of the restaurant reserved for our party and when we arrived they had a great assortment of cheese, crackers, spreads, fruit, cured meats, and olives waiting for us. The server helping our group (about 25 of us) was friendly and quick with running drinks and checking in on us throughout our time there. We all enjoyed the food; hot rolls and butter, Caesar salad, chicken franchise, chicken parm, ziti, and mashed potatoes and they even packaged up the leftovers to take home. It was my first time here, but others in our group dine here frequently and enjoy the food and ambiance, which is why this restaurant was selected for today's event.

Serious can not beat the prices for the quality of food or service that you get here! The cinnamon old fashioned drink was killer!! Dangerously delicious I could have had 4 more. Their dinner for two special really can't be beat! Even better you can order different salads and entrees!! $45 includes a pitcher of sangria or bottle of wine, soup or salads, entrees and dessert. We got red wine which was truly delicious. I got a garden salad, chicken parmesan with ziti and tiramasu. Refreshing, yummy with excellent marinara and tenderly breaded chicken and the dessert was light ywt with a hint of expresso and truly fresh whip cream. I'd eat here again for sure!

The restaurant was nice and clean, but let me tell you about my experience. We sat down right away, but the wait for the food was insane. We went during lunch time and my friend had to return to work due to the food arriving almost an hour late. So I told her to put his food to go and they still brought it out. I asked for extra sauce twice and never received it. And by the time I was signing the check to go is when she decided to ask me if I wanted more water. I get that the waitress was new but i think she needs more customer service training. My pasta wasn't even hot, it's like it was sitting for a while too. Never again!

Recently ordered a turkey sub with yellow mustard and the sub was sent with Honey Mustard instead, bread was falling apart and no care went into making the food. When we called to ask for a replacement the manager offered a $12 credit for future orders. When asked if a new sandwich could be sent in its replacement, Angelos again made the sandwich incorrectly and this time the bread was in worst shape then before. It's a shame that a place I've frequently ordered from has seen its quality decrease over time. Never ordering from them again!!

Your pizzas are a mini pizza you charged me over $35 for two mini pizzas that's disgusting you should be ashamed you don't even give us a choice on your on line ordering for small or large I can not believe this is what you charge and than charge for delivery and than still have to tip unbelievable.

The restaurant itself has plenty of parking (and plenty of entrances). We went on a Tuesday night and had no wait for a booth. We were then sat and offered some complimentary bread and oil. I liked the bread- it was nice and crispy but not break your teeth hard. The oil was a little bland but free is for me. Our waiter was fine- not the most attentive but he got the job done. I ordered the chicken Rossini and my significant other had the chicken genovese. I really liked the Rossini. The price was fair for the amount of food you were given and the white wine sauce was very flavorful. I'd recommend this dish. What I wouldn't recommend is my partner's genovese. The dish had what looked like a quarter of a cup of oil at the bottom. I know it's pesto but no one realistically wants that much oil. Overall, did La Familia blow me away? No. But id consider giving it another shot at some point down the line.

They also have a wheelchair ramp, so it's accessible. Service was good. Food: I wish the oil for the bread didn't just tasted like olive oil. my pesto pasta had ENTIRELY too much oil, pictured in review, like literally drowning in it. Shrimp special was good. Mocktail was one note, but I like that they offer it. Did not get dessert. I would go back and try something else on the menu.

The restaurant is small (only seats 48) so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, there wasn't very many people while we were there so I'm not sure how loud it gets when busy. They have a full bar so I ordered a drink and my husband loves his craft beers and they had a few (but he always prefers if they have a beer menu so he can read the beer description). For appetizers we ordered shrimp cocktail and the meatball. The shrimp and sauce were delicious, and the meatball was HUGE (we almost could have a meal with that!!! The meatball came with lots of sauce and ricotta with 2 toasted bread slices (we devoured every bit!). For dinner we shared 2 entrees, we got the seafood casserole which came with choice of side (we picked baked potato) and a vegetable medley, and the southern fried pork chops that came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The food was so delicious we ate what we could and had to bring food home. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable of the menu. This was one of the best places we've tried in a while. We eat out at least weekly and most places we don't go back for a second visit, but Lucky Dog Tavern will definitely stay on our rotation of places we love.

As with any trattoria, the bread and olive oil are a must--and it was absolutely heavenly. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of just that. I ordered the chef salad, which was exactly as described: generous in size and loaded with meats and cheese. It was fresh, filling, and hit the spot. I love the decor, deli, and the bar. It's a nice addition but I feel as though it does make the restaurant a little cramped. I stopped in last night with my partner and my dad. We had Ryan for a waiter and I think he was spread a little too thin as I had seen him behind the bar the whole night. He was by no means rude and clearly busy but it definitely seemed as though he didn't check in as much as he could have. As for the food itself it's always been nice. Not stellar and by far not my favorite Italian places but serviceable. The prices are borderline reasonable to pricey, with my meal being $25. I would say $25 is a little steep for two pieces of chicken. However, the portions are gracious enough to leave you full but not bursting and the food always does taste fresh. My Chicken Sorrentino was good but I didn't get a lot of prosciutto which was disappointing. I'll keep coming here because it's close but if you want amazing Italian food try Federal Hill in Providence.
