Slices of the night

Needed some pepperoni at 1am in 30 degrees. This place hit the spot. Nice dudes behind the glass too

This was my first time grabbing a pizza at Slice. Really wanted to buy a whole 16" pizza but the guy at the counter said they can't do that for me. (Even if I was willing to wait) I'm seeing other reviews say the same thing happened to them, so I really wonder why they have a whole pie on the menu. Just ended up grabbing a slice with plans to grab more food elsewhere. There's a tiiiiny counter to stand and eat at indoor that'll fit maybe 2 adults. Otherwise, you'll need to eat outside on the sidewalk. Not great when the weather isn't good. The pizza was fine but with all the other pizza options in NYC, I don't think I'll be trying them again.

The pizza here is okay. I've had better, and for the price of each slice, I feel like I would be better off getting pizza somewhere else for cheaper or better. The pizza comes out pretty fast and the slices are pretty big. This place is good in a pinch.

Mushroom pizza my 3rd and forth

God dammmmmm this is so good 5 star all day I walked around my kids ask for water entered the smell was amazing. I was eating a pizza the day before. It was really great but the smell my God I said give me one slice then we got 3 more . The crust is elite. You cannot get better than that.

What can I say? It's a slice of NY pizza, w/varying toppings. That said, the dough was delicious, the sauce and cheese ratio was on point, and it was a quick meal before heading over to an arcade. Quick bite that was fresh and satisfying!

The BEST slice of pizza around. Simple but the crunchy crust is A-MAZING. First place we stop at when we arrive in NYC. Small standing tables outside...gives you all the city vibes.

After dropping by a few Japanese restaurants and getting rejected due to last call, we ended up at this pizzeria for dinner. We got a large pepperoni pizza for takeout and brought it back to our hotel lobby. The pizza was thin and cheesy. The pepperoni was salty and oily in a good way. I was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. The only negative was that the crust was a tad hard after we brought it back to the hotel.

quick and friendly service but the slices were just okay. They were a bit too greasy for my liking.

A good New Yorker slice - got the pepperoni pizza (halal), it had a nice crispy bottom and the taste was solid.

The President of Brazil ate pizza here. It's a pretty good NY slice shop. Not fine dining but for the money will fill you up.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.

The bar is a great bonus--well-stocked and a great place to hang while you wait for a table. The staff really stood out to me--super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And the pizza? Absolutely amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. If you're looking for a go-to pizzeria with great vibes and even better food, I highly recommend Bardough NYC!

Walking into Bardough will make you want to kill your phone the second you hit the bottom step…read morebecause the ambiance here is dialed in perfectly. The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!

We came here with reservations right after watching &Juliet across the street and the only problem was that I the dishes were so big that I couldn't order more. My wife and I enjoy a good meal but didn't research the size of the portions well. Thankfully our waiter guided us appropriately. We ended up skipping the appetizers and getting a chicken parmigiana and a half order of the rigatoni vodka! It was just enough for us. The chicken parmigiana was just right. It's their star and we can see why. The chicken was breaded well and dressed in the rich sauce and cheese. The breading was not overdone and the chicken was moist and tasty. The complimentary bread was helpful in mopping up the sauce. It was my wife's favorite for the night The rigatoni was my favorite and I regretted only getting the half order. I could have had another portion or two. It was the right mixture of flavor and texture.
