I stumbled across this place again thanks to yelp. So glad once again yelp came thru again on a good recommendation because this place did not disappoint. First I called and talked to Sunny. He's a manager and I think a relative of the owner. Very nice and a good salesman. He knows his stuff and makes a lot of promises. Only difference though is he actually followed through with his claims and promises. I brought in a 2011 Tacoma that was top of line when I first bought it. Well 7 years later it was def due for a thorough cleaning. When I decided to sell it I knew I had to invest some money into getting it brand new looking again. I called and went to a few different places. I decided to give these guys my business. Overall it was a lot of work and I paid a lot but it was still competitive in its pricing. Sunny made sure of that. Here's what I had done... *exterior detail with clay bar, wax, and high speed polish to remove scratches *headlight restoration *engine steam cleaning *interior detail with steam cleaning to remove smoke smell You can see from the before and after pics it was money well spent. A lot of scratches I was shocked they got out. They got the smoke smell completely gone. Engine looked brand new again. Super stoked! My experience: I stumbled upon this place online around 9AM because I was trying to sell my car. With a quick phone call, I got an appointment for noon that same day and sunny (the man who helped me) guaranteed that the work could be done and picked up the same day! I drove over there, talked to Sunny, and ended up with the full package: interior, exterior, buff/polish, decontamination, engine bay... the works! Their family vibe and long-standing (25+ years) experience in the same location ultimately gave me the trust I needed. Not sure what to make of this. I found a Groupon for 135.15 for a complete detail. I called in to see how the redemption process is and how to make an appointment. When I mentioned I had a Groupon he said he could fit me in a week from now, at the end he asked if I bought it yet and I said I didn't , he then said he could fit me in tomorrow morning and requested (but almost felt like demanded) that I pay cash for the service. If I didn't have these spare free Groupon bucks to spend I probably would've done it. I feel like I would get a compromised service if I came in with a Groupon becusse the same service costs $350 on their site. I was disappointed with my visit to Angel Auto Spa this morning around 9am. The staff member who assisted me kept me waiting for several minutes while chatting with some friends, instead of promptly greeting me. He was then not able to clearly explain the different service packages and pricing, despite multiple requests. He aggressively tried to upsell me to a more expensive package than I requested. I was also uncomfortable with his repeated requests for cash payment after I stated I only had a credit card. The facility itself felt disorganized, with confusing pricing tiers and no customer receipts. I left feeling pressured and unsatisfied with the poor customer service. Nevertheless, the kind gentleman who actually washed the car did an amazing attention-to-detail job. Later, a taller gentleman came in and his customer service etiquette was exemplary. We engaged in some conversation about one of the products I bought, and he gave me some tips on how to use it - that was the customer service I was seeking. Although he hesitated on giving me the receipt and I had to ask for it. While he was nice otherwise, it seemed as though he did not want to give me the receipt. My initial interaction was unsatisfactory, but other staff like the tall gentleman provided decent service. I would suggest the business improve training and communication around services, pricing, and providing receipts for a more consistently positive customer experience. My son sprayed ketchup on the car roof and i could not remove it. There were also few scratches on car doors as well. Got it to Angels Auto spa and voila, all the ketchup marks on cars roof are gone and most of the car scrarches are also buffed too. Thank you Angels Auto!! read more

First and foremost, I want to apologize to the guy who worked on my car. I didn't give him his full tip! I'm the worst! In my hurry, I only pulled out part of it from my pocket. So if someone from Angels Auto Spa sees this, please let me who worked on my car (I was literally just there 10/9/17), so I can ask for him again when I come back, because I will come back! He did a great job! So, I came across this spot through Groupon. There's a killer deal for a premium complete detail for $159. It's by far, the best deal I've seen as it includes carpet shampooing and boy, did my car need it. Just be aware that it's only available Mon-Thur and will likely take the entire day. I dropped my car off at 8am and came back for it at 3pm. But, I have to say it was worth the wait because I don't think my old Toyota Camry has ever looked better. It's the dog car, but you wouldn't know it now. Every hair is gone! It's also so shiny inside and out. More than a year's worth of driving up and down California also gone! #magic I've gotten my car detailed at a couple of places and the cleanliness is just on a whole 'nother level here. I brought my tired 12yr old car that, frankly, hadn't had a car wash nor been vacuumed in a very long time. As a result, my expectations were low since I only paid for the $17.95 deal on their website and didn't get it detailed. I was truly amazed at the excellent job that was done on my car. It was spotless everywhere inside and out. I need some minor body work and touch up on the paint, so I will get those done next. With all the photos here of fancy cars and the price, I was expecting this to be a high quality shop. I'm giving 2 stars because they did actually wash the car and I'd rate what they do here as an appropriate cash wash for people who really don't care much. Having not been before, I asked for a very good handwash. The guy told me they had a $36 package - the best handwash offered. Kind of expensive, but if it's really really good I am totally fine with that. It was not. Overall, it was a mediocre wash at best. The kind I'd expect for $9.95. By that, I mean there were tons of spots missed, dirt left in spots, and the armor all.... Who still uses actual armor all? I think what I actually got was a $6 car wash and $30 of armor all. It was all over everything in big globs, splotchy and inconsistent. Worst part is I have matte black paint on my spoiler and they armor all'd the matte black paint! Luckily I was able to wash it off and it doesn't seem to have done permanent damage. I spent 30 minutes waiting on them to wash the car and another hour at home trying to clean off all the armor all. read more

They told me it would take about 3-4 hours to get it done so I decided to wait there reading a book. I had to drive 1 hour through traffic but it was fine because it was my first time doing auto detailing. But when I got there they told me to wait for 9 hours (until 6 pm which is the closing time) or I would have to come back in the next day morning. They were just keep repeating 'We are busy today. If you want to make a claim, claim through Groupon not us'. They should not have taken reservation when they are fully booked or at least say 'sorry'. This wasn't my first time going to Angels' but it is my last. I took my car in for a wash. I choose the #3. The car wasn't that dirty. All I needed was to get the pollen off the car. INSIDE and out. I left my car there for over an hour. I figured that gave them more then enough time. I go pick up the car and the interior was still dirty. They didn't bother to wipe down anything. He told me he had to do a hand wash on the outside of the car because of my rims. Which I was fine with, and even that was half done when I said something to them they went and got a guy who came and said show me what's wrong and I open the door and I said my whole interior you didn't bother to wipe it down. He said he forgot he guess. But next time he will take care of me. Forget next time. My car is dirty now. I'm never going back. read more

I brought in my wife's 2009 Rav4 here since it was long overdue for a deep polishing of the paint job to remove surface scratches and oxidation that made the surface feel really rough. I chose one of the more expensive packages and they threw in a complementary interior detailing including washing the removable floor mats. I'm always hesitant to go for the higher end detail jobs since some low-end places will just hand-apply a coat of wax and call it a day. However I could tell they did a great job here with using the clay bar and buffing/polishing the paint prior to applying wax since the surface was very smooth and nearly shined as new. It also removed all the scratches which hadn't already reached the paint base layer. All in all it took over 5 hours but I had expected it to take a while so I was happy they took their time. read more

Unprofessional and racist. I purchased a Groupon and tried to redeem it. When I called in to book the car detailing, the owner asked me to cancel to help save them on booking fees... I said ok, thinking it'd help out a small business. I showed up at the shop and he asks me to pay in cash upfront, again for saving purposes. Very Seedy sales tactics beware! I called asking for a quote on my Escalade that has been sitting for some time so it does need to be cleaned and understand it would not be cheap. They were running a group on and the gentleman said he will honor that price of 173$ no need to go on group in and purchase it and give me a discount although they typically charge 75$ on larger cars he would give me a discount on that as well. I also mentioned to him I need headlight restoration and he would give me a packages deal as they typically charge 59-70$ .I went there this morning he said my car was very dirty which I knew and paint needed to be polished/buffed out and quoted me 700$ out the door for a total detail and polish. I said no thank you and then said okay total would be about 500$ for my car as he quoted me much much less before. Although I was on the lot ready to pay for my car to be extensively detailed , I felt uneasy about how he did his business. On the phone he made it sound like I was getting some great deal but as I got there the total kept getting higher and higher. I don't mind paying someone and am not a cheap person by any means but 700$ quote from about estimated 300-400$ come on now. It was one of the rare times it rained in SoCal and of all times, I accidentally left my windows cracked open a few inches overnight so my interior got wet and also had this gross, sticky dirt that just did not want to easily come off my steering wheel and various parts of my interior. I don't normally detail the I side of my car regularly, but I needed to get the water out of the cloth seats and clean that gunk off the steering wheel and the interior as soon as possible. I was in the Costa Mesa area and looked up a place with decent Yelp reviews that could help me detail the interior. I'm glad I found Angels Auto Spa. I talked to Phu over the phone initially and he said to just bring it in so they can see it to give me a more accurate assessment. He told everything I said to the owner before I got there so the owner already knew what was going on when I walked in. They were very accommodating through the whole process. Since it was rainy the past few days, the owner sent half the staff home so they were short staffed that day. He said he could do the work for me if I took it in the next day, but I was going to be out of town for the holidays and also I needed to get the water out as soon as possible, otherwise I feared I would start growing mold in the car and it would also become smelly. I was thinking in my head that I'm about ready to leave and find another place that could do it for me that day, but the owner agreed to take my car in anyway. It was about noon and he promised it would be done by 4pm, but he ended up being finished around 3pm despite being short staffed so that was a pleasant surprise. I also saw some coupons on his website and asked if I could use those on this detail job. I only saw them on the site, but did not have them printed out, but he still honored the discount. When I saw my finished car, it looked brand new inside! I usually keep my car pretty clean even though it's almost 10 years old, but they were able to not only able to get all the gunk from the rain off, but they also got some other parts that just got dirty and worn from age to look brand new again. They even found my umbrella cover that was underneath one of my seats. In addition, I originally took my floor mats out after the rainstorm so I could let them dry on my balcony, but forgot to put them back in when I went to the detail shop so when I told Phu, he said to just bring them in on another day when it's sunnier and then they can shampoo them for me for free! Overall, their customer service was good and they were super accommodating. Their work was very thorough and impressive and I'm very satisfied with the job. This is the worst car spa I have been to. I love my car, so I give it spa regularly. RI got myself a premium details from this place, and when I arrived, the guy Sunny pushing me to add extra services etc telling me they do excellent job which I paid additional 200 on top of the expensive premium details. (And the job, waxing and steaming were done poorly, uneven surface feeling on the car, you can still see wax on the car, and for steaming there are still spots can be seen). I left my car there for almost 6hours. And after that, all I got is broken tail light cover. I was very unhappy, and they would not admit it's their responsibility. They try to quite me down with free car wash service. While I was talking to sunny another 2 guys came up and told me this is not a big deal , you can fix it yourself and I was very mad, I told them my love my car so it's a big deal to me, later told me to go back to China, which was very rude and racist. One of the guy was the mechanist they use. The place is very old and dirty. I would give negative star I would. So If you love your car don't come here for service. read more
