The kids and I decided to stop here on our way to go grocery shopping today. We've tried the Angel's donuts in Rosedale but this location is new to us. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. It's nice cause they have two sides to check out and pay. It was not very busy when we were in but I can imagine it can help when they are busy. This donut shop seems a little pricier than most. Not as pricey as Krispy Kreme but more than Foster's donuts. They do however have a different selection of donuts. Such as donuts that look like pandas, smiley faces, footballs. There is also donuts that are split and filled with cream, like an eclair donut and others covered with cereals such as fruit loops and fruity pebbles. The donuts were fresh and they had a wide selection of drinks. I'm sure we will be back. read more

I come here because it's close to home, but over the years this place has improved so much that I've started to crave their donuts sporadically. The staff is super nice and hooks it up with extra for the dozen. I appreciate their use of stamp collection card. Basically you get a stamp on a card for every dozen you purchase. Now, on the surface this seems like just your standard run of the mill donut shop and in a lot of ways it is. However, when you get a place that executes the basics really well and have a couple tricks up their sleeve, you gotta give'em their props. There donuts were very fresh tasting. I've been in there early in the morning and in the afternoon and they're donuts never have that old chewy texture. However, it is their breakfast sandwiches that actually inspired me to write this review. They have your more typical ham, egg and cheese croissant, and also bacon egg and cheese croissants, but what we had and are excited about is the turkey, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich. The sandwich isn't super gourmet or anything. It's actually pretty basic. Sliced deli turkey, scrambled eggs and american cheese on a croissant. What makes it good is the quality of the turkey is solid, eggs (though probably not fresh cracked) were fluffy and the croissant is light and buttery. The sandwich is hearty and nicely sized for under $4. The thing that makes this offering stand out is that it is a breakfast sandwich that you can get hot and fast, cheap and with meat that isn't pork! The no pork part is key. I love bacon and other pork breakfast meats but my wife doesn't eat pork, so we're often doing extra searching around to try and find breakfast spots that give her a decent meat option. Finding somewhere that's fast and cheap is even more difficult. That's why this no frills and all goodness breakfast sandwich has made me a fan of Angel's Donuts. read more

I really like the donuts at this place BUT I get the Peanut Butter Roll every time and it's always 1.85, my mom goes in today to pick one up for me and they charge her 2.25 even though on the board it still says 1.85. The worker told my mom they're changing the prices and just haven't changed the board when she brought it to her attention but mom said it seemed sketchy. .40 isn't a big deal at all so it's not a big deal but in terms of customer service it just makes me wonder. read more

maybe it's because I went after school, but the donuts were not good. I recommend they use full strips of bacon for their bacon maple and the bread softer and more flavorful? the bread is absolutely bland the chocolate icing on my chocolate bar wasn't great either. their powdered donut selection is the widest and so I couldn't get the power donut I usually get from other places. We had just had deli delicious and could smell the donuts calling our name next door. We decided to walk in, the store looked clean and the owner was very nice, but after having eaten two huge sandwiches, we decided we would pass on the donuts. As we were about to walk out, the owner asked what was wrong? We just told him that we were too full and changed our minds... he then proceeded to offer a sample. We were hesitant, because we were stuffed. However, he asked what we'd like a sample of. We chose a maple bar, and the kind owner gave us an entire maple bar! I couldn't believe it!
