So you might be looking for Vinny's but this is now Angie's. The menu is small but has a decent variety of burgers chicken sandwiches and some specials like Patty melts and grilled ham and cheese. Unlike a lot of other places you can get chilly here with no beans. Yay. Ordered 2 double burgers. Burgers are served with grilled onions, ketchup and mustard and pickles on top. Burgers were good. Small like SW Detroits Telway Burgers or White Castle for ya non SW people. But you can get a double or triple. The pickles were nice crisp deli style sliced pickles. It offered a good contrast to the greasy burger. Next time if im hungry ill order a Triple Burger. Cheese Crinkle Fries were BOMB! I'm not generally a fan of liquid cheese but these tasted delicious. Chili no beans, add cheese and add onions. Chili was okay. Id like a thicker chili, and more seasoning. But it waant bad. Id order again as it was. Service was great! Girl server at the counter was quick and served my chili as soon as i ordered. Young man server picked uo where she left off with checking us out. And they both had great attitudes! Have to total over $8 bucks to use a charge card. It has a drive thru too! It took us about 25 minutes total from sitting to walking out. We will definitly be back. read more

This place is such an old timey burger joint in a small area.I love the feel this place gives. The prices were also very affordable, as two double cheeseburgers and two fries costs around $15. The wait was a little long, but for that food, it was worth it. The burgers had a crispy bun, and the burgers were also nice and juicy. The fries had a nice crunch and an ok amount of salt. This is a great place for slider type burgers. Reminds me of my childhood burger place. Lots of grilled onions, the best crinkle cut fries all cooked to perfection. Mmmm the best sliders around! I love that their sides are the Bart of everything too. We get a French fry and an onion ring to share. Husband gets chili cheese fries. I was told to visit this gem. On the outside it looks like the streetcar from desire movie. When you walk in it's a diner when you traveling out of town. Or from downtown New York or Boston. The hamburgers are greasy. With grilled onions mustard pickles and ketchup. The staff was friendly and efficient. Due to covid no one was in the diner so service was fast. Was there on December 26, 2023, with my husband. We both ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and a fry to share. Will we were sitting there waiting on our food to be ready? I watched the cook shake hands with one of the other customers with his gloves on, then proceed to touch and cook our food with the same gloves on. Then I watch the cook eat food with the same gloves on. Never did he change his gloves. I said something to the manager, and she did nothing . Actually, she was rude to me for calling him out. If you want a hamburger that has God knows what cooked with it, then this is your place. The health department really needs to go here and see all that goes on. If they did, this place would be closed down right then. I didn't even want to give them the 1 star, but I had to in order to post this review. read more

Disappointed with how small the patties are. I understand places like these make the patties very thin but it should at least be as big a round as the small bun it comes on. Seems like you have to order a double to get the patties to cover the bun. I recently orders from a place similar to this one and I have to say their patties, although just as thin, covered the bun, which unfortunately makes me decide to choose that place over this one...even though Angie's is right down the street. read more

It's cute little place. Super small and a lot of kids in today -actually more people in there than seats. It's like an old fashioned diner or soda shop type of theme, having like 16-20 bar stool seats in the entire restaurant. Stopped in with the kids- we all got double cheeseburgers which for us was more than enough but for larger appetites you may want to order 2- they're billed as "sliders" but buns are like the size of CDs...burgers are classic diner burgers - smashed with grilled onions. This joint has been teasing me for a year. It looked done but never opened. The bold sign announcing HAMBURGERS made me both curious and hungry. I ate here over the weekend and felt the tease was still just that. The place serves sliders, of course I am a fan of those. They also have my fave fries to ever come out of a freezer bag, crinkle cuts. Add the availability of chili and yum yum right? Wrong. The potato buns they were so careful to brag on overwhelm a single style slider. Get a double or you will be taken aback by the sheer presence of this solid type bun. The onions are plentiful but the pickle and mustard/ketchup mixed sauce is sparce. Dry, very dry, whch is what happens when a bun is so dominant. I preferred the version that was skipping cheese as well. With that bun PLUS cheese the burger is just a footnote when it should be the star of the show. Right? The fries were really under cooked, leaving them soggy and sad. The chili though was horrific. Some odd flavor really put me off. Topping it with an american single and huge thick whole circle slices of of onion was a poor choice as well. A fine dice of onion and some shreddy cheese could not have saved it but it would have made it less wretched maybe. Cute counters to eat in or quick to go. Staff was speedy and so very friendly. I was disappointed with all the food I ate though and will not return. Great idea, poor execution. read more

Stopped by here for the first time after picking up my daughter from camp and utilized the very convenient drive thru. We ordered a strawberry milkshake, Boston cooler, double cheeseburger and fries and I have to say I'm hooked! If you want some good old fashioned burger stand food you've hit the jackpot, our meal was delicious, hot and prepared quickly. Next time I will be sure to take a photo. read more

Came here for the first time after passing this place for years. To be honest, the food tasted fine but there was basically no meat on the cheeseburgers in our group order. This would have been great if the burger actually fit the bun, or if the bun had been roughly 80% smaller. This was hugely disappointing. read more

Ordered four cheeseburgers with no onions. Two of the cheeseburgers had onions and the other two onions were plucked off. I could tell because i could still see the onion shape impression in the soggy bun. We called in our order before we left out--we stay up the street. Maybe a three minute drive. When we picked up our cheeseburgers they were cold and soggy. I called to complain and was told that i would have to bring the burgers back to prove they had onions and they would refund me. I explained that i was headed out and couldn't simply come back up there and the manager basically told me " oh well, " and blamed me for the cheeseburgers being cold and soggy. They weren't good, they weren't bad, just meh. There was nothing special about it. The portion sizes were incredibly disappointing. This little burger joint is the cutest. Indoor and outdoor seating available but limited. We tried basically everything, tenders, cheese fries, burger, and mozzarella sticks. I wasn't huge fan of the tenders but the cheese fries were excellent! Coke products too. I love supporting small business so this place was definitely a good choice. I wouldn't say anything was extremely delicious but it was good food. Definitely adding tomatoes and lettuce to my burger next time! read more

Exactly as expected. I didn't see a salad in the place so it's the real deal. Double cheeseburger, fries and malted milk shake $14 with tip. Disappointed she talked me out of two burgers. Could have done it, easy. Cool spot. Way more folks drive through then come in. Angie's has a price point that compares to Mcdonald's, but the portion size and quality is about a hundred times better. You can really tell that everything is made to order. I'm normally not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries at all, because they're normally really limp and soggy, but these fries are crispy and delicious. We will definitely be returning! read more

I love this place! Vinnie's is very similar to Bates - if Bates was clean and didn't smell like urine. Slider style burgers with or without cheese, grilled onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup, fries and shakes. My go to is a couple double cheese burgers with grilled onions and mustard and a chili cheese fry. FYI a double cheese burger means double meat, not double cheese. Couple things I really like about this place, as I mentioned it's really clean in there which I appreciate. Also, they have a great ventilation system so if you eat in you won't end up smelly like grease the rest of the day. It's also pretty affordable, my and the misses ate here today and only spent $17. It's the closest thing us westsiders have to a Bates or a Greene's so if you are in the area you should grab a sack, they're delicious. read more

This place makes delicious burgers. Greasy, cheesy, onion-y goodness. They've been open for a year or two, after what seemed like years of construction. The staff was incredibly friendly and took time to explain the history of the building (kitchen area is new; dining area is an old diner that they brought from New Jersey). We went for a late lunch (1:30) on a weekday, and surprisingly, there was only one other person inside. There were lots of drive thru orders, though.
