Just moved in down the street, we have seen Angie's always so busy and finally stopped in to try. They are VERY busy so you can expect a wait, but boy was it worth it. Service was great, food was great and there are some beautiful murals around the restaurant. I really loved the flavor of the breading on the shrimp and grits. Portion sizes are large, lasted for 2 whole meals!

Angie's Restaurant is located in Garner, NC. I was close enough to make a trip here for lunch. I came at the lunch rush and that parking lot was full. When I walked in the door, they have a waiting area with benches. Make sure to get your name added to the list and get a pager first though. The diner attracts many regulars, and knows them by name, and the regulars know each other, too. I liked the community vibe. It didn't take long for a table to become available, and I was seated and my drink order taken. I went with the Tuesday special of beef tips and rice, and selected deviled eggs and baked apples for my sides. I got some Hush Puppies too. I was intrigued by the chicken pastry special and ordered that to go with sides of mashed potatoes and zucchini. The chicken pastry is similar to chicken and dumplings. It was well packaged so nothing spilled on my drive home. I was amazed that the items were still hot when I got home. I wish I lived closer to dine here more often, but it is a treat to dine here for the delicious Southern food and great service.

The friendliest staff ever, great food, country cooking. The Friday lunch special was Salisbury steak. I added onions and mushrooms to the gravy and it was perfect. Had a baked potato, corn on the cob, hushpuppies, blueberry cobbler and tea. Everything was hot, tasty, and simply wonderful. Parking can be a challenge. My only issue was why did it take me so long to visit!

    A must visit! Deliciousness

Old school diner with great service is what this place is. Stopped in for the 1st time and it was packed. It's not a bad thing because it shows you how good the food is, along with the service. I had one of the omelets and it's so much food. This is a great place for breakfast. I will have to come for lunch one day.

Very cute restaurant, very busy. They have a lot of seating pretty close to each other- made it more home town, country. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. I had coffee which was very good (they gave me a cup to go also) My breakfast was good- the sausage was amazing.

Service was quick southern hospitality. They passed out free dessert while we waited for our breakfast. It was a friendly hoppin place. The portions were large and delicious. This was the neighborhood hot spot.

Never a bad meal here. Attentive service, overly so, but not obnoxious. Loud, busy place, everyone friendly, from staff to customers. Family atmosphere. Portions are amazing. Could share. Today's chef salad is proof. Miss the housemade blue cheese dressing, though.

Food that brings me back to my childhood. Great home cooking with service that it top rate. And they never let my coffee get low or cold. Even provided coffee to go after my great breakfast. If you anywhere near here you owe it to yourself to stop in.

Second visit to Angie's. First time was years ago. It was amazing then and it's amazing now. Be prepared for a wait. The tables are packed in there, but i promise the wait & all the people are worth it. Lots of parking. Super clean bathrooms. Really sweet staff. Amazing owner. The chipped beef is delicious. We don't live here, or we would eat here on the regular.

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

We were expecting a cute brunch spot, but this really wasn't that at all. The whole experience just felt pretty underwhelming. They also have a 2% service charge buried in the fine print on the menu. That's the only place it's mentioned unless you specifically ask about it when paying. When you go to pay, they don't give you an itemized bill either. You're just shown the total after taxes and the service fee, along with a recommended 30% tip. The waiter said the 2% fee was for credit card payments, but I hadn't even taken my wallet out yet when he mentioned it, so I'm not convinced that's true. Overall, just not a great experience and definitely not worth the price.

I ordered the seasonal latte which I can't remember what it was called. It had turmeric and some other spaces, I believe it was called the bee latte and it was excellent. I hear the Orange Blossom latte is also really good. Also, check out the upstairs seating area. This is a great coffee shop to spend some time in and also for remote work.

I consider coming back, but only if I happen to be close by not a place I'd go out of my way for. The location is pretty nice too. I like the curve appeal and the fact that there's plenty of parking. Prices were more than reasonable for today's market, which is nice to see. Solid four stars.
