Messy, juicy, deliciousness. I came here a couple weeks ago and decided to come back since I enjoyed it and it's near a gym I go to. I got a slider (medium spice) and mac & cheese. My bf got the #1 (2 sliders & fries) The chicken in all the sliders were huge and juicy. The coleslaw in them was yummy but extremely messy. I loved drenching mine in honey for some sweet heat. Pricing is reasonable but on the higher end for a chicken place; the two of us were stuffed for ~$37. I think this place blows Dave's and Cane's out of the water in terms of flavor and quality. I can see myself coming back frequently!
I decided to randomly drop by after hearing it from a co-worker. The store location is isolated in a mini block line of businesses? I ordered #3 which consists of a chicken burger and another tender on bread with fries. I was delighted to discover if you want to get the "spicy" spice level, they would let you taste it first. As this place uses ghost reapers which are pretty damn spicy. As expected, it's hot, to the point where it will hurt your mouth. So I stuck to medium spicyness and enjoyed the meal. I have no qualms against the price, this is high quality chicken specializing in spice levels and taste
The medium heat level is the perfect spicy. You get the spice and a tasteful flavor. The hot level was too hot couldn't taste the flavor. The slogan is limitless flavor; but I think the limit is "hot" level. Couldn't taste the flavor after eating the hot level. The service is fast and the place was pretty empty when I visited.
Great customer service and great fresh chicken. The chicken is really good and most important this place is very clean. The temperature inside the restaurant is nice and cool. Bathrooms are very clean. I will definitely come back, one of the best Angry Chickz restaurants I have ate in. I really recommend this Angry Chikz.
I've gone to this plaza so many times but never tried Angry Chickz till recently. Their options are similar to other chicken places (white bread, tender and slider combo, etc). I opted for their slider and tender combo. I can't handle spice too well and got the country (no spice) and mild. The slaw was good and their sauce is really good. The chicken slider and tender sizing was a good size too. The sauce is like Chik Fil A's but with more spice. The mild tender had a kick to it, it was bearable but I wouldn't get it again. Unless it's drowned in their sauce and I have another bread. Service was quick and the staff was nice. The inside has several dining tables. I'll definitely go back.
Really wanted to love this place - the chicken was delicious, juicy and succulent. But, I selected medium heat, which basically meant they just put dry chili powder or paprika or some kind of rub on the outside of the chicken which made it totally unenjoyable. Don't breathe by mistake near your chicken or you inhale a huge amount of nasty powder. Quick service and reasonable if spartan setting and everyone else enjoyed the mac & cheese and the fries were excellent. Just can't get over their main offering being so unfortunate this time.
DO NOT GET THE RICE = 5 stars Call me crazy but the rice bowl was pretty horrible haha. But I'm here often so here we go3 A staple in my lunch rotation when I worked at Guitar Center Santa Clara Angry Mac is our typical go to but anything paired with the sweet tea (except the rice lol) will be a winner. Fast service. Dirty calories.
I heard about Angry Chickz for a while now. It's going to open in Fremont, which is where I live. Because it's still closed, I decided to go to a nearest location which is in San Jose close to Westfield Valley Fair Mall. I have different takes when it comes to the food here. The fries are totally delicious especially with good seasonings they added to it and how crispy they are. The chicken meat unfortunately tastes like nothing, but you may want to dip it in the sauce to get the taste. The skin with the mild coatings tastes flavorful. The slider also makes up for that taste too. The atmosphere of this place is very similar to other chicken shops and I am quite surprised how fast the service is. I'm looking forward to dining the same establishment in Fremont soon!
This is the fast food fried chicken spot #OAT. Canes and chikfila do not even compare.. - seasoning and crunch on fries were perfect - mac&cheese was nothing special, could be richer but fast food is fast food - sliders were solid !! - medium heat is easy to handle for someone with a low spice tolerance such as myself - service was quick, received order in less than 10 mins I think With how expensive takeout is these days I think this meal was worth the money spent :p
Solid 4's all around! I had the two open faced chicken tenders on white bread with fries combo meal. I chose mild and in hindsight should have gone hotter cuz it had zero spice at all. Unless they accidentally gave me zero spice ones. But still, the flavor was good. The special sauce is like mayo or thousand island or something. Not spicy. The seasoned fries are what caught my attention. Yes they're battered so obviously more tasty than your average fry, but they were seriously good. And crispy like I like fries! The combo meal and drink was $18 which seems super pricey to me but oh well. Located in a very non-descriptive strip mall in Saratoga Ave. My buddy had the sando and open face combo. But it was spacious and clean and quick.

So I really waffled here on 3 versus 4 stars, but it came down to one thing: A few of the tenders in the large order we had were cold which is a bummer. So Hot Chicken places are spreading faster than omicron these days and for good reason: Who Doesn't like friend chicken? Add to a sandwich and it is hard to beat. To be clear were it not for the temperature issue on the sliders this would have been an easy 4-4.5 star joint. The chicken that was warm was well fried, the batter was perfect, and the meat juicy. They offer a variety of heat. We went medium with some and hot with others. The medium was as advertised just about right. The heat was there but not overpowering things. Hot was just that and also perfect for our palates. For us we would not go much higher than that. The Hangry Bowl. Basically every side on a bed of rice with the aforementioned tenders. I think after an edible this would be fantastic. The table was mixed on it some loved it. I thought it was too much going on with too many different textures but the individual ingredients were good. The sliders: decent sized good bun, but lukewarm to cold tenders ruined it. The Slaw: Nice and crunchy and perfectly dressed Fries: Crisp with a nice center and dusted with spicy seasoning salt. These were awesome Pickles: Disappointing. Limp and lacked crunch. They added pale green color and little else The locatiuon is in a busy strip mall so parking may be tight at certain times. It was also weird that there was a coin counter just sitting on counter in front. As I said before this would have easily been a 4 star review were it not for the errant temperature of the chicken tenders in the sliders read more

This place offers solid Nashville hot chicken tenders and sliders, but the quality is definitely not as great as other hot chicken establishments like Dave's. It's also more expensive! I ordered combo #3 which comes with a slider, tender, fries, pickles, and white bread. For my tender, I ordered hot and found that it wasn't very spicy but still offered a flavorful kick. For my slider, I order extra hot and it was superrr spicy! There's definitely some inconsistency regarding spice levels here. The chicken was juicy and the seasoning was great, but the batter stuck onto the chicken poorly. I couldn't grab the chicken with my hand without the batter tearing off, so I resorted to using a fork. By the time I was done with my slider, the batter was almost completely torn off anyway. The same thing happened with the slider. The fries were nice and crunchy and I have no complaints in that aspect. On the counter where you grab your food, there's a little station with sauces, napkins and utensils. There you can get angry chickz sauce, honey, and ketchup to accompany your meal. read more

This review is long over due. I've been coming to this Angry Chickz since they first opened. The chicken is always juicy and that sauce, ooohh man! They got different combo meals that will do the job in getting you full. If you want something a little lighter like I did today, you can order a single slider. It's essentially a full size sandwich and won't have you feeling super stuffed. My go to heat level is 'mild' which already has a little kick to it. You gotta be cautious with those hotter levels! read more

The friendliest chicken spot you'll ever go to. I recommend the medium to hot range for the chicken. Fried perfection was still retains the juice. French fries are well seasoned with a nice crisp. Don't forget to try out the mac & cheese. Hidden gem here. Shout out to angry chickz! read more
Juicy chicken to the tenth degree. Don't underestimate the spicy. I like spicy, but these guys can get spicy spicy. If it's a spicy emergency they'll give you milk, but milk is not on the menu. Excellent fries, excellent rice. read more

I swear it's always when you like a place and take someone there that if fails you. Drive from Hayward to San Jose=huge let down Got here at 8:40pm Took 5 minutes to order Took 20 minutes to get order (Not bad at all, restaurant was full of people and the parking lot as well) They don't offer online or phone orders Prices are a little different than menu board The cashier was totally over the night, no greeting given but that was okay because I had already been here so I knew the food was going to be worth it. Ordered: the loaded Mac (layered with fries, chicken and Mac and macaroni and cheese The combo 1 Issues: We did eat when we got back home (30 minutes or so later) The chicken in the bowl had no spice or flavor Sandwiches were just bread and a tender (no sauce, no pickles or no slaw) not notified of the missing items and it was pointless of getting the slider combo which is more than the tenders on bread combo Trip was a huge disappointment read more
Very good value and delicious fried chicken sandwich! My go to comfort food in the area! The fried chicken comes in different spicy levels so you can customize yours. It is deep fried perfectly, super crunchy and moist on the inside. The Cole slaw isn't too soggy and wet so it is not messy while eating. The fries are very delicious and crispy too! The size is Combo is perfect for two, or one if you are starving. But I find that it is really great value for the quality too. They used to have a sauce bar area but it wasn't there the last time I went. For less than $20 you can feed two, it's a great deal in this area! Parking can be challenging in this plaza since spots are very tight and not too many. The interior of the store is big though, I never see it full the many times I was here. Seems like they have many to go orders or people just grab and go. Highly recommend! Small menu but everything is executed perfectly . They definitely nail the chicken sandwich well! read more
The sliders are basically a chicken tender wrapped between two pieces of bun, a bit awkward to eat due to the shape and size of the bun to chicken proportion. Its definitely hefty for a tender, not a typical "fried chicken" as the breading is limited so you get more meat. A tad dry. Fries are amazing, perfectly fried and crispy yet still soft. Interior is very clean and plaza has limited parking dependent on time you come. read more
Super fast service. Simple and easy to understand the menu. It's freezing inside, but I think that is purposeful since you will be eating spicy food. The interior is spartan, with no frills. Refillable sodas! Awesome food. Chicken is tasty and moist. They give fry sauce! Huge portions. read more
Trendy place when you walk in with a chill, Bay Area vibe. Moderate amount of diners already enjoying their chicken sandwiches with a steady flow of new customers as the dinner rush piled through. What I ordered: Combo #1: Two chicken sandwiches and fries - Fries were excellent, well seasoned and crispy. Had a bit of Cajun spice to it, but was mild in heat but really gave a delicious kick with each bite. -Chicken Sandwiches: I got mild since I'm not too prone with spiciness, but it was manageable for my taste buds. What really helped cool down the flavor was the chill coleslaw packed in the sandwich. The slaw was refreshing to munch on and cleansed my palate. The bread was a bit too soft, so the integrity of the sandwich was smushed when I tried to prevent the chicken and slaw from falling out. But, white buns neutralized some of the spice flavors. Now, the main star, the chicken! Packed with spice flavor and deliciousness. Tender meat to chew on and right enough moisture! Would come here again to be an angry chick! read more

Angry Chickz is the truth!! I actually found out about this place from a friend in SoCal (before this location opened) so I knew once they opened here I had to give them a try. I'm quite the wimp when it comes to spice so my go to order is usually the Combo #2 (mild). The mild still has some spice but it's not crazy hot or overpowering. The chicken tenders are always cooked to perfection! They are a nice size, very meaty and juicy. The breading is tasty and well seasoned and it's one of the best chicken tenders I've had. I love that they are placed on white bread and topped with pickles. This meal also comes with seasoned fries which are the the battered fries and they are amazing as well. I also enjoy the dipping sauce that comes with the chicken, you don't necessarily need it but it does add to the flavor. The customer service here as always been good and the staff does a good job at letting you know just how hot certain levels are. The cooks in the kitchen work hard at cranking out this amazing food in a timely matter but just be aware the food is cooked to order and they are packed at times so you might wait a little longer than normal. I definitely recommend coming here if you love Nashville Hot Chicken. They do have other options such as sandwiches, bowls, mac n cheese and other options. read more

My order listed below, Combo #1 (Two Chicken sliders w/ slaw, pickles, and fries) ($14) - (Hot) my spice tolerance is pretty low so the hot flavored killed me Would recommend for people who likes spicy though! If you like spicy but can't handle hot then I would recommend Medium. - (Mild) I like mild way better because I was able to enjoy it with a kick of spice. The chicken wasn't dry and I liked how they added the cole slaw inside of the slider. Loaded Mac ($11) - (Medium) the cheese definitely helped with the spice. I also liked how they added lots of chicken and fries Overall, this place is pretty affordable! Has 5 tables open inside for self indoor seating. We came here on 3/2/21 around 4:30pm and there was a long line. A lot of people were waiting inside for their orders. We had the two combo # 1 ($12) and mac & cheese ($11). We waited probably 30 minutes before our order was ready. The combo 1 had a lot of food in the box. There were two sandwiches with a chicken tender in each as well as fries everywhere in the box. The chicken sandwich tasted good to me and same with the fries. The mac was not bad as well. You can't go wrong with either of those if you're not sure what to order. Overall, I thought this place was okay. read more
Tried their Sacramento location a couple years ago and loved it! So I was excited to try it again here.. Spice level wasn't the same (I remember dying at the medium level in Sac) but the medium here wasn't spicy at all. The sandwich itself is nothing really special. Chicken wasn't crispy or juicy. I'm a fan of Angry Chickz! Now that the lines have died down, I finally stopped by for dinner on a Friday night- and I'm glad I did! Pros: 1. Large portions (combos can be shared) 2. Line moves fairly quickly 3. Tasty (and free) secret sauce 4. Trendy interior 5. Chicken is juicy and flavorful 6. More reasonably priced compared to similar spots in San Jose As far as cons go, I wish there was a little more variety. I would probably only stick to the fries and sliders here. Personally, the tender over white bread with pickles wasn't my favorite combination, and the loaded mac and angry fries didn't look too appetizing. You also have 5 heat levels to choose from. I opted for the medium (perfect heat) and it left me with heartburn haha. Next time I'll play it safe a mild slider. Would definitely recommend trying out! read more

Once again i have to write another bad review i placed an online order to this location went to pick it up and stood in the front for a GOOD while before anyone attended me and they weren't even busy. Grabbed the food and left home, as i opened my food i ordered a #2 with no pickles and I got pickles on my plate. Other than that the food was ok could've been better. read more

Yum, Angry Chickz. If you're hangry and craving some chicken sandwiches or chicken tenders then come here and this place will satisfy your chicken cravings :) This place is located a few doors down from 7 Leaves (one of my fav places for tea/boba), so I decided to check out Angry Chickz after getting my drinks. They had just opened at 11am so we were the first customer of the day. The lady at the cashier was super nice and took our order asap. We just ordered the combo #1 (2 chicken sliders + fries). I believe it was $14 + tax. It was a pretty good deal since the it was good portion size. The piece of chicken was juicy and just perfect. The seasoned fries was just as good too. The combo is perfect to share between 2 people and you can get diff level of spicy for both sliders. We got medium & hot and it was the perfect spice level. You'll have a few sniffles but I appreciate that their spice is correct. I guess chicken sandwiches is the new thing and I hope Angry Chickz sticks around. Most of the places selling chicken sandwiches are food truck, so if you don't want to go around tracking down food trucks then just come here. The menu is very simple and food comes out very quick. FYI- The parking lot in the front is small and crowded. Just park in the back lot and walk around! read more
Glad to see the hype dying down. I came on opening day and saw a line wrapped around the building. I never came back since but I have been dying to try this place so I went on a whim to to reattempt my gluttonous pattern. I ordered the Combo #1 and Angry Mac. Like what others have stated, it's pretty pricey. The combos do not come w/ a drink. There was hardly any wait (took about 10 min.) and even though it wasn't busy, staff still asked to see the receipt upon pickup. The floor was either just waxed or mopped so it was pretty slippery; not friendly for heels and cautionary signs, too. My combo comes w/ 2 chicken sliders w/ slaw, pickles, and fries. The loaded mac comes w/ chicken and fries in a very delicious, smooth, and thick cheese sauce. I had a feeling I was eating Cheez Whix the entire time. I picked X-HOT (aka Call 911) for my level and it was spicy but flavorful. It's not overpowering and overwhelming, I was able to enjoy the crunch and the juiciness of the chicken. I LOVED the slaw and and the loaded mac. I walked out 10lbs heavier. read more

The chicken was very juicy and the breaded medium was just the right amount of heat. The fries were actually tasty, I think they are double fried. And don't forget the sauce... Not very impressed after my experience. If anything, I feel cheated and extremely germophobic after visiting. In terms of the germaphobia - this venue does NOT enforce social distancing whatsoever. When busier, there are people crowded super close to the indoor dining customers (who do not have masks on) and to each other clustered around the counters waiting for their orders. I felt extremely uncomfortable while waiting for my food when trying to find a socially distanced space far enough from other people. To make matters worse, the workers calling out numbers were really quiet, so that was encouraging people to break social distancing to be able to get their orders. At the side counter, Angry Chickz also has self serve sauce containers. I didn't understand why they didn't just have one employee package all the sauces in the little cups to prevent cross-contamination. Sure, there's a sign that asks people to please use hand sanitizer, but not everyone follows guidance. Combo 1 || $14 Consists of 2 chicken sliders with coleslaw, pickles. French fries served on the side. These were some pretty disappointing sliders. I don't think they should be called sliders in the first place. They use regular grocery store sized hamburger buns, but give you less meat than a normal burger should have. Because of this, the meat to bread ratio is completely off. What you ultimately eat per slider is half a chicken sandwich, and half soggy bread with watery mayonnaise. My heart sank so woefully when I saw the empty gaps between the bread. Definitely a sad moment when you realize you didn't get your money's worth and feel deceived. To top things off, my chicken was stringy and some parts were tough to chew. (So where's that delicious chicken I was advertised??) The coleslaw was really watered down and made the bread super soggy. Both the chicken and coleslaw definitely lacked seasoning and flavor overall. Fries were also limp and nothing special with the restaurant's Secret Sauce, which just tasted like mayo with a touch of ketchup. You can go to Chickfila or Popeyes and get at least 3 full sandwiches and a side of fries for the price of 1 sandwich + sad fries here. (Basically 2 sliders here would be 1 full sandwich's worth of chicken at those fast food places, plus some bonus soggy bread). You'd also be much happier at Chickfila or Popeyes - or at least I know I would. Sadly, I cannot recommend Angry Chickz to anyone hoping to have a great chicken sandwich experience. Would recommend trying elsewhere. read more
There's hot chicken places popping up everywhere in the South Bay! This is a decent chicken spot in the area, but nothing special. I was really craving fries and my friend decided to get me an order of the Angry Fries! The fries were pretty good. Very crispy on the outside and a nice potato center. The seasoning on the fries is very good. The fries are similar to Wingstop's fries, but has a different twist on it. The Angry Fries have A LOT of coleslaw on top. There was more coleslaw than anything else in the takeout container. Underneath the coleslaw was some hot chicken (we got medium), pickles, and their special sauce (which is simiar to Raising Cane's sauce. Overall, pretty tasty... but nothing special. Not sure if I'd come back. Nothing really stood out to me. read more
We came to this place for a late dinner on a weekday night. It's a quaint place off the road. One thing to note is that there's no outdoor dining, but there's a fair amount of seats indoors. We ordered the Combo #3, which contains one hot chicken slider and one tender over white bread with slaw, pickles, and fries at spicy level X-Hot/Call 911. This is the second spiciest level on the menu, the most spicy being Angry (which you have to sign a waiver to eat). This was pretty spicy, the kind that builds as you keep eating but overall not too bad for those who regularly eat spicy. The burger was delicious and the chicken was soft and very juicy, but I wish there was a bit more slaw inside. The fries were overall delicious and crispy, but at times a bit too spicy. Price-wise it was pretty reasonable with the combo around $13. The servers were also very nice and accommodating, letting us try some of the seasoning used at the Angry spice level. Overall, definitely enjoyed eating here and would recommend it for those craving a spicy burger. read more

Didn't get diarrhea, but I did rather enjoy this place. There isn't really much here that separates them from all the others, at this point. The market is now too saturated with Spicy Chicken Samsquanches! With that being said, my meal was pretty good, and I do like that they have the options to try one of each (Sliders AND tendies). Slider - Hot - pretty good! I've said that I'm done constantly going with the hottest options on the menu, so let's just take a chill pill and enjoy the meals! Anyway, Hot was a perfect amount of flavour and spice, so it went down pretty easily. Pretty messy, so make sure you get those wet wipes! Tendy - X-Hot - saved this one for last, in case it was gonna ignite the Diarrhea Train, however, it did disappoint in that regard. I tried dipping it in honey, because maybe that's a thing? I dunno, they gave me a packet of ketchup, and a packet of honey, and I sure as hell wasn't gonna dip it in ketchup, so here we are. I'm not sure if the honey is some sort of neutralizing agent, but it definitely wasn't that hot. I didn't go overboard, so it was just a nice little accent to the tendy. Overall, pretty good I'd say. Fries were aight. Overall, the meal was satisfactory, but not mind-blowing, not to mention, all these places are getting more expensive by the day. Might be back, if one of my friends desperately needs to try it, but it's pretty low on my priority list now. read more

Angry Chikz serves fried chicken from Nashville. I happened to see this place "bussin" multiple days when I went to grab 7leaves, so why not give it a try? Lines are long! I ordered a combo #1, and it took me about 15min to order with a relatively short line, compared to the other times I've seen it. I got my order about 10min later. I'd assume the wait time would be longer otherwise. They offer "country" (no spicy) to "angry" (extreme spicy). I ordered a no spicy, 2 chicken sandwiches and fries. You can taste the difference between this type of chicken and, say popeyes for example. It was soft and tender, and very flavorful, though I can't pinpoint the taste. Just good chicken lmaoo. There was coleslaw in the burgers that added some nice flavors and pairs well with spicier option imo. The fries were also really yummy! They were flavorful, soft yet crunchy, and just tasted better than fries from other stores. There are spices than your usual salt and pepper fries. Overall a good experience! The cost was $15ish, and I shared meal with someone else. A burger and boba should fill you up! I think $15ish is a good price for 2 people, but those with bigger stomachs should order their own combos. HOWEVER, the COVID capacity was 20 people, but there seemed to be more people than 20 inside... there were about 10 seated customers inside, but you also had people in line and waiting for orders. I took a rough estimate, but they were either at capacity or a little over. I'd reccomend takeout if you're a little worried about precautions! read more
Decided to give this new place a shot and overall was not disappointed until I was almost killed at the end of my meal. Their crazy mac and cheese is epic and their chicken sliders are truly tasty. After we ate our meal we tried their waiver spicy chicken and it almost took me out with one bite. I had to run cold water in the faucet and put my mouth under it for a minute to help the pain go away. Oh the pain. Overall, it was a cool experience, but I'm not getting that spicy chicken again. I think I had too high of expectations for this place after seeing their ads on instagram. We visited around 11:15, just a bit after they opened on Sunday. There was already a line and a good crowd inside. The line moved pretty quick and we waited around 10-15 minutes for our food. We got the #1 2 sliders and fries combo. It was good but nothing special, maybe even just ok. The bread was soggy from the sauce and the slaw. You can see it in the third pic. The fries were too salty and was pretty soggy too. We got one with everything on it and one with just the tender. The one with just the tender held together a lot better. It is a bang for your buck tho if you're looking for an alternative to other fast food chicken sandwiches joints. We shared the #1 combo which was $14 between two people. We weren't full from it but considering we didn't finish the fries because it was too salty, it's a good quick fix. I also wished covid guidelines were enforced more here. As indoor dining is allowed again, some patrons would leave their table to go get sauce/napkins/utensils at the pickup bar without a mask on. All in all, it's just okay. The chicken here? This is unique. SO UNIQUE, it's the blandest thing on the market. As you can tell, I personally did not find Angry Chickz to be worth the crazy hype it created with it's Grand Opening so recent. -- Order & Pickup Experience -- Originally I came here on Grand Opening day, but the line was so insane, it wrapped around the entire strip mall. So I decided to come back a few weeks later to avoid spending hours in line. Stopped by around 4:15pm and there was already a line of about 10 parties out the door. Debated whether or not I wanted to wait.. but since the line was "shorter", figured I'd wait a few minutes and see how quickly the line would move. Ended up taking about 20 minutes to get from outside to the order counter. Then another 40+ minutes waiting to get my take-out order. Waiting inside was an extremely uncomfortable experience. Angry Chickz is open for indoor dining, so there's tables lining the perimeter of the restaurant. The order line splits the room in half since the path from the door to the order counter is smack dab in the middle of the space. Everyone waiting for food awkwardly waits on the right side of the restaurant alongside the tables and right wall since the pickup counter is on that side. There's very limited space (less than 6 feet) between waiting parties and patrons sitting at tables. Seated patrons had their masks off talking and eating. Standing patrons were crowded alongside the tables and one another. Welcome to no social distancing with a side of covid. (No, the pandemic isn't over yet as of this review) On the pickup counter, they have two large bottles of "Secret Sauce" and to-go sauce containers with a sign asking customers to please use hand sanitizer and a napkin when helping themselves to the sauces. The Pickup experience here was subpar overall. The girls shouting out orders could barely be heard over the music and chatter within the restaurant. It'd do the restaurant great good to invest in an intercom or microphone. That might help deter the great clustering around the pickup counter since everyone is trying to hear when their order is called. -- Food Experience -- I ordered Combo #1: two chicken sliders with coleslaw, pickles, and french fries for $14. You can choose different spice levels for each slider, so I opted for medium heat and no heat. The slider buns were wet and parts of it soggy on the outside (not just inside where the pickles/slaw was touching). Now on to the fun part - the TASTE. Well, if you read the intro to my review, you probably got that foreshadowing memo. EVERYTHING IS BLAND :) The Medium heat chicken? I have no idea where the spice is - there is just a light kick. But that's it. This could pass as non-spicy, even though the Medium is colored a nice red compared to the light brown No Heat piece. I honestly don't think Angry Chickz even marinates their chicken. There is NO FLAVOR, whatsoever. That non-spicy chicken is not worth getting at all. To top it off, both chicken pieces were dry and even had tough stringy bits in them. That coleslaw? If you like cabbage drenched in watery mayo with no seasoning, this may be for you. But for someone who enjoys fresh coleslaw with heft and flavor, this is an easy pass. The pickles? Look, I'm not sure how it is even possible to mess up pickles. But these tasted like watered down pickles. Like if you poured out the pickle juice from the jar and decided to soak the cukes in water for a week. The fries? These were some of the saddest, overcooked fries I've had. Tried to give them life with the Secret Sauce...BUT that only tasted like plain mayonnaise even though it was colored light orange from nonexistent spices. (Side note - Secret Sauce is supposed to be made of ketchup, mayo, and Cajun seasoning. But you can only taste the mayo) -- Yes I know this review is long-winded. If you made it this far (or if you decided to skip ahead to the end), my main recommendation would be to skip this joint and try another place for Nashville Hot Chicken. It's open but they don't take phone orders unless it's by door dash . You can only place in person orders.
Is this place even open? Maps through my iPhone says permanently closed. Website and Yelp don't have a phone number listed and website won't allow me to place a pickup order. Don't wanna drive all the way there if it's already shut down. Anyone know?

I've seen a few photos of a specific Angry Chickz employee not wearing a mask properly. How seriously is this establishment taking COVID-19 precautions because it's quite concerning?
In my experience, the staff does a fair job of it, but the customers generally do not and there is no enforcement. (Customers without masks, not distancing, etc.)
How hot is the angry?
I LOVE spicy food, but almost KOed with X-HOT so I can't even imagine Angry.
