I came on opening day and the line was around the corner. I was finally able to go back and the line wasn't too bad. They were may be about 10 people in front of me at 1 o'clock on a weekday. I try to combo number one with one hot and one extra hot slider. The heart had a bit of a kick to it and will probably be what I'll go to in the future. The extra hot had a burn to it but not so much that I couldn't taste the food anymore. They only serve sliders for the sandwiches here so no for breast or thighs which is a little disappointing. The chicken had a good flavor to it and was moist. The seasoning was flavorful. The fries tasted like they were breaded and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and I enjoyed them. They taste very familiar but I can't remember which restaurant they resemble. The lady handing out the food was constantly wiping the counter and even wiping the takeout containers which was very reassuring. They have indoor dining available now. Hubby came out at 1020 and got to order after it was a little over an hr. he got me combo 1 hot. This can definitely be shared among two people. It comes with two sliders and fries. This is a nice spot! I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. The tenders are solid and juicy. I got an X Hot slider and a Medium tender. I was a bit disappointed because I did not find my tender spicy at all for the X hot slider. This is the one that is second from the top of the highest heat level. Maybe they were both just medium heat. With combo #3 you get fries, a slider and a tender on white bread. The spices are good but the flavor is definitely lacking. I don't know if the chicken just needs to be marinated longer but it lacked flavor. I found the medium tender lacking flavor as well. I liked that the chicken was juicy and very moist. The outside had a good amount of crisp. The fries were crispy and delicious and the slaw and sauce were good. It comes with fresh pickles. I attempted to try Angry Chickz on a Friday night, and the line was literally around the entire building. I decided to return on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see about eight people in front of me. I waited in line for about 15 minutes, and once inside, the staff took my order quickly. Angry Chickz now offers takeout and indoor seating as well. The menu consists of four combo meals with options for sides. The menu is similar to In-n-Out but with Nashville hot chicken. There are six levels of hot, country (plain), mild, medium, hot, x-hot, and angry. If you order "angry," you must sign a waiver. I ordered the number 3 combo with one sandwich being "hot" and the other being "x-hot." Both sandwiches were juicy, crispy, and HOT! The "hot" level was pretty spicy, but the "x-hot" burned my lips. I can't imagine what the next level would be like, but I want no part of it. The fries were so good! They have a little flavor kick to them. If I could sum up the reviews in one word, it would be 'inconsistency'. I already knew that I would have to sample a second time after today to see if whatever my experiences would be, well, consistent. So for this episode, I ordered the combo #4 (chicken strips) and medium spice (not knowing quite whether that was hotter or cooler than average). It turned to be very medium - a nice subtle kick and after kick. The meat was not as juicy and tender as some of the reviews indicated, but not bone dry either. I really love the rub - there's an indian-like spice cardamom or a red-curryish component I could not pin down, but it is an excellent flavor. Do not fear the deep tawny paprika colored breading - it's spicy, but I'm not sweating or anything and I can still taste the chicken. I also like how the spiciness is part of the dry rub, probably grounded chiles, instead of just extra globs of hot sauce soaked up by the batter. Accompanying the main course is peppered cole slaw with chunks of fresh cabbage and basmati rice, which is proabably why my mind went immediately to indian spice. In any event, it's a great base carbo for hot chicken. Part of what you expect is going to improve as the restaurant recently open and it just takes time to iron out the inevitable kinks. Another pandemic take-out that would've been better as a dine-in. I finally tried Angry Chickz after a much awaited delay (thanks covid) and was decently pleased with the service. The pros- The meat matches the name - angry (with heat and spices) and the portions + side dishes are respectable. Combo #3 was your typical hot chicken sandwich + one tender on bread, served with slaw and fries. Combo #4 has the tenders on a bed of buttery rice (which help ease the heat of the meat) The meats were juicy and well flavored and thr slaw + fries complimented the combos well. Now, on to the cons- The take out option + delivery time (not the eatery's fault) leads to the breading getting all soggy and mushy, hampering the taste of the tenders. They tasted somewhat ok as sandwiches but combo #4 was not as appealing to the tastebuds. I would recommend dining in so you can get the crunchy tenders that your tastebuds deserve! read more

Saw this place on IG and decided to try because it was getting so much hype. Came about 10 minutes after opening and there was a line out the door. Our order was taken after another 10 minutes and there were a handful of people waiting inside already. The food didn't take that long either. The drinks and sauce are self-serve. I was surprised on how many people were eating inside though. It wasn't really regulated. Tables were full, people were eating inside and also waiting inside. We took our food and went to the car because it was so packed. We got 4 combo #1's. The fries were crispy and sprinkled with spicy powder. I found the buns to be soggy because of the slaw or maybe it was not toasted enough. I got to try mild, medium and hot. Mild and medium were pretty bland and did not taste like there was any spice added at all. Hot was when I started to taste the kick of spice. The women's restroom wasn't clean, the soap dispensers weren't refilled and no paper towels, so most likely wasn't even checked for hours at that point. I had a feeling he was hard of hearing when I had to repeat my spice level even when the restaurant was quiet. As a person who has worked in restaurants myself and hard of hearing I would repeat the order to confirm with the customer to avoid any mistakes. We ordered the combo 1 and combo 3 and a soda. We ordered at the register and waited outside until they called our number. We got a soda cup and went to their soda machine. They must have made a mistake filling up their soda machine because when I pressed the iced tea, hawaiian punch came out. That was a bit disappointing. The food is a bit of a wait to get. It took around 15 mins for us to get our food. They have a lot of tables inside but we opted to eat in the car. Their slider is a decent size and more than enough to fill me up. I was highly disappointed in the flavor of the chicken. It was thick, dry, and flavorless to me. I got mild and there was no flavor whatsoever. The medium was a bit better because there is some spice flavor but other than the taste of spice, their chicken has no flavor. It is also super dry. Their sauce isn't very flavorful either. The buns on the slider were completely soggy/untoasted which I usually don't mind but the texture was super off to me. Their fries were good and typical. I'm a huge fan of Nashvile hot chicken, so I was so excited to visit Angry Chickz on my day off from work. I'll start off by saying Angry Chickz really packs on the heat! I always say I wish Dave's Hot Chicken had a spice level in between their "extra hot" and their "reaper" because one is not spicy enough while the other is too hot to enjoy. The "x-tra hot" at Angry Chickz probably fits right in between and was the perfect amount of heat! Cole slaw was really delicious, but the mac and cheese was a bit dry and firm. The chicken was very juicy, and while it packed a bunch of heat, I found the chicken to lack flavor. It was a bit bland, and I really had to drown it in sauce or honey to really taste much. Not sure if I would come back again as I wasn't super impressed by this place, but was happy to try this place out. I got their combo #3 which included a chicken slider and a chicken tender over white bread. I ordered medium spicy (level 2 spiciness) and both came with coleslaw and pickles. The heat was just right for me, and there was a lot of food in this combo as it also came with lots of fries. I don't think their chicken is anything special, but it is filling and I like the different levels of spice you can choose for your chicken. I split the loaded mac with my friend which included cheesy macaroni, breaded chicken chunks, and french fries. I was disappointed by this, as it had way too many fries and not enough mac + chicken for it to be worth the $11. It also got cold really quick, so the fries on the bottom were soggy as we finished it. I'd say more than half of the bowl was fries...wouldn't get this again. 6/10 read more
