Came here around 7:30 pm with my girlfriend on a Thursday. Once we got here, there was a huge party, but, they already were leaving and wrapped things up so it wasn't that many people. This place is pretty small so there aren't a whole lot of seating available. You place your order either on the tablet, or sit down and there QR codes to order. You can get up and get chopsticks, napkins, etc. If you got drinks, you can grab them from the fridge. They bring the food to your table if you ordered for dine in. For food ~ Ddeok- Bokki: Super flavorful, the fish cakes and rice cakes are really good, the sauce is spicy so we were pretty spiced out. The only downside of coming here is having to deal with the parking lot, which can be crowded if you're here during major meal times. It's a plus for the business though, because I'm sure the 99 Ranch brings them business. I usually order online for pick up so have never dealt with ordering there and dining in. Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had! Even the leftovers were great, somehow the chicken was still crunchy. The first time I tried with the bone and it was so juicy and addicting. I have some allergies, so I couldn't try most of the flavors, but I was highly satisfied with the honey garlic. The second time I tried the boneless honey garlic, and I was amazed about how much I loved it. Usually I like my chicken with the bone. But this was so crunchy and flavorful and less messy to eat. The downside, it's $$$$. For two dishes it cost around $70 already. That's crazy inflation for chicken. I mean sure, it's a Korean chicken chain, but man... it's expensive. It is what it is tho. Tried this location for the first time and realized there are variations in offerings and portions depending on which restaurant you go to (Sunnyvale and Milpitas are slightly different, too). I really like the flavor of the soy garlic at the Sunnyvale and Milpitas location, but thought this one was a little too salty. We tried the hot mala and it was a bit too spicy for me but husband liked it. The spice builds. For sides, we got a basket of fries and mozzarella sticks. The portion of the fries here are HUGE, bigger than the other locations. They were crispy, piping hot, and seasoned deliciously. The mozzarella sticks were satisfying, but I wish they offered marinara sauce as a dip. It came with a thousand island style dip. They also don't have draft beers at this location like the other two, but they have bottled beers. The cashier warned us that the amount of food we ordered might be too much but we didn't realize the portions were different. Definitely was a lot of food, but we enjoyed it as leftovers. They have a combination of booths and tables for seating with a casual ambiance. Overall it was a solid meal. I want to try their golden original and see if it's better than the other locations. We just wanted to order a take out and somewhere close, this bb.q Chicken came into the map. Since it's a take out order, I can't comment on their ambiance. The food was ready by the 25-30 minutes as promised. However, when we got there, there was no one in sight to help us. We waited and waited for 10 minutes until we found someone. The food on the other hand, was better than my expectations. We ordered a small Gangjeong Boneless (8 pcs) and a small Honey Garlic Boneless and worried that it's not enough for 3 of us. They were all packed into one box like a half and half and we were all very happy with how big each pieces are. We couldn't finish the 16 pieces and with about half as left over! The Gangjeong was spicy, but to my surprise, even the Honey Garlic had a kick into it that my 0 spice tolerant guest couldn't take it without washing it down in a cup of milk. I was not happy with 6.99 charge on the onion rings but I was less mad when seeing the amount of onion rings in the box. The Rose Ddeok-Bokki no double was the most spicy dish among what we ordered, but the sauce was very creamy and tasty! Now I wish I ordered cheese to add the extra flavors. All in all, a $65 bucks dinner turned into 2 meals for us and I was happy with the flavors and this new dish we tried Rose Ddeok-Bokki. I came here with couple of my friends after a 4 mile hike near by. We ordered three orders of crispy chickens in flavors of Galbi, Soy Garlic, and Golden Original. We also order a side dish of fries and they were really good! Crispy just like we love them. The staffs were also very friendly. I asked them about the app that they had on their window for the membership. During that time , they said that currently it is in progress and is only available in Korean. It is coming soon. The time we went around noon, it was half empty. Very quiet and clean. I also had their Ddeokbokki which were mild. Usually I can't handle spicy, but this was very good. I barely could handle it and I love that they had fish cakes as well. Not a lot of korean resturants include fish cakes to their Ddeokbokki. I recommend coming by.
