I stopped here on my lunch break while working in this area last week and decided to try the catfish po boy with fries. It didn't disappoint at all. Service was very quick. I ordered online and it was ready in less than 15 mins for pick up. Price was very reasonable. The food was good as well. It was a decent amount for the price. We were craving some seafood and were going to play it safe and choose Loui Loui like back home, but decided to try Angry Crab instead. They had a special for Queen Crab and we decided to try them out as we had never heard of that before. Queen Crabs are actually Snow Crab but since a lot larger in size, they're in a league of their own! I like how Angry Crab offered that! I would order this again. It feels like your getting the benefit of King Crab but the price of Snow. Regarding the service, it was attentive & friendly. My mother had a slight hiccup with her order however they managed to fix that by the 3rd attempt. As for the food, it taste very bland! I couldn't taste any of the seasoning or anything! My husband Jose Mercado took me out to eat here on 02/14/2026 around 9pm to 10:20 pm and our waitress was JJ or Juliana. She forgot to put shrimp in my shellfish sampler order. I felt like something was missing but didn't realize until I looked at pictures I took of menu and my food the next day. I also had a lot of empty shells and shells that were cracked up inside a lot of my shellfish's meat which I ended up chewing a lot of and having to spit out into my hand. I understand that some clams/ mussels can fall to bottom of bag or pan but that was Not the case for me. I had about 8-10 shellfish's that were just not there at all:-/. The Food was really good when it came to flavor and being well cooked. I just wish I actually got the full meal we paid over 200$ for. The fried oysters appetizer was very delicious as well. We expected better from the waiter. She didn't offer me extra gloves or bibs for my leftover food to take home but she was very quick to bring us most of what we ordered. Also on January 19 2026 we took my 13 year old daughter here for her birthday and Kenzie gave us excellent service. I actually wish she would've been the waiter to serve me and my husband on Valentine's Day. I bet my order wouldn't have been messed up with her and made right. I felt that Jj/ Juliana didn't deserve the 25$ tip she got but Kenzie definitely deserved hers. And on top of that my seat had food on it before sitting down with JJ but the table was clean. None of that crazy stuff happened with Kenzie and she's the only reason I'm giving you guys any stars at all along with the great flavor of food. I've been dying to try this place and unfortunately it didn't exceed my expectations. I'm a big fan of seafood boil so a girl knows what she likes. Calamari sauce tasted like sanitizer, our seafood boil bag barely had any sauce in it. When we asked a lady with pinkish,red head for some sauce she took our "order" but we knew with the sass she gave us we weren't gonna get it. Started off with the catfish basket which came with sweet potato fries and coleslaw (you can choose what sides you want with it) and the fried sampler - we chose wings, calamari, and fried shrimp (also chosen from a few different items), and the angry edamame. The fried shrimp and cocktail sauce was the best part of the basket! For our main meal we chose the seafood boil, family style, and got muscles, shrimp, and snow crab. The shrimp, although a little tough to peel, was good but the crab was the star of the show. We've been here several times now, but I haven't written a review each time. Trying to correct that error now. Went in for lunch with the Mrs & daughter & once again had a pretty darn good meal. We started out with the sampler & I'm happy to say they had sliced pickles, not the spears. Like before, I had the Gator Nuggets with fries & red beans, my favorite dish here. (One of these days I gotta try something new.) The Mrs went with a crab cake sandwich & fries with a Bloody Mary, while the daughter had catfish. Large fillets of catfish that she really enjoyed. Beto was our server & was just great. Friendly & helpful he checked on us often. The place was almost empty, more employees than customers, but we were early. We came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary since we've been wanting to try this since...well...since we started dating. Haha. Seemed only fitting. We decided to get their Shack Mixed Bag which came with snow crab, head off shrimp, lobster tail, 1 corn, and 1 red potato. The food came out very quickly which was nice because we saved our appetite for this meal. We were able to obtain 2 sauces because my fiancé likes spicy and I am trying to build my like of it. The food was delicious and we finished it soon after it arrived. We did have to ask for crab crackers as the snow crab legs were not easy to crack open. Went there tonight - Friday - with our 23 year old daughter. We had planned on ordering a good bit of food and drinks. My daughter set her id down on the table and before we could even order the server said I am going to tell you right now we can't accept her id! I said what? Came here last night with my cousins for the first time, and we were all happy. We were seated fast, the outside was cute and lit up. The inside wasn't crowded, so that was great. This was not our first time coming here and the experience we had tonight was just entirely underwhelming from what we were used to. It has been a few months since our last visit, but it was like walking into a different establishment altogether. I had called for a reservation and we were seated quite promptly. There was a lot of open seating for dinner time on a Saturday night which surprised me. Our server, Jordyn, was new and the only part of our visit here that was actually enjoyable. The food was what had shocked our table. We had ordered one of their specialty bags (the second one listed, I forgot the name), along with gumbo and their grilled shrimp bowl. The actual seafood boil was salty for a garlic sauce and the amount just did not match the price. I understand seafood boils are expensive and market prices may vary, however, it was just very lackluster in terms of quantity and taste. The gumbo was also underwhelming and tasted different than before, and the grilled shrimp bowl had 5 pieces of peeled shrimp with the steamed vegetables that were ordered with it under seasoned. It just felt as though their food tonight was missing something in everything we ordered. I liked this place, but at the moment, I don't particularly plan on returning. We came here one night to see what all the hype was about. Unfortunately it highly disappointed. Their Boil Bags are at market price and you pay per item. Including if you want to add corn, vegetables or potatoes. That's all extra. You pick your flavor combination and spice level. I will warn you, even the mildest spice level is spicy. I had been wanting to try this place for months, and we had a friend in town and so we decided to go for it! Our server Courtney was awesome! She was super fun and helpful and had a good sense of humor. She took care of us. My wife and our guest enjoyed the hush puppies very much. My wife also had the peel and eat shrimp which she said were excellent and she enjoyed her red beans and rice very much. I had one bite of the latter and it was delicious. I started out with a Gumbo and I think it was the best I've had in many many years. Actually I think it's the best outside of New Orleans. I will definitely be having that again. We got the boil for two and added some lobster claws which was a special. The lobster claws really didn't have any meat in them it was quite strange. The boil was delicious and prepared just as we asked. The king crab was also a little weird, there wasn't much meat in there. The snow crab was perfection as was the shrimp, potatoes and corn. The sausage in the boil was pretty much life-changing! We both took a moment to savor that specifically. The lobster tail was also very good. Worst experience in my life! The clam chowder was old and basically water, I literally could have used a straw to eat it. The boil was cold, they obviously are not using real butter, it tasted like straight oil. Elle was The WORST! She was on her phone and disappeared for 30+ minutes while we sat there with dirty dishes, she took our drink and food order, which she seemed annoyed to take our table, we heard her complaining about us. She FINALLY took our bill and cashed us out​, and gave us an obviously sarcastic " have a nice day", I've never in my life stiffed a server until today. And you need to clean the window sills by the booths by the windows, all sorts of dirt, dirty windows, the handwashing sink, disgusting... crumbs and even shrimp shells!! Normally I would be furious but the delivery driver(3rd party) was kind enough to wait it out.....first they apologized to him and explained the head cook was out....he got the order and was heading to me when he realized it should have been 9 items,...he had q bag...someone's softshell crab sandwhich...not my large order...he went back and had to wait even longer...I'm still fine. Finally get my 65$ order, tip the driver 28$ for his troubles and go in to eat...pull out my pound of shrimp and not one of them had been deveined....all full of shit...whole order wasted. This place has been around for quite some time and we were able to give it a try for my husband's birthday celebration. We were expecting a lot more than what we got, and the bill was not worth the food and the quality of the seafood we tried. I would have loved to find another place in town we'd be able to go to when craving seafood, but this place did not hit that spot unfortunately. When we arrived in the afternoon, there were not a lot of people in the restaurant, but there is a lot of space, so if their menu was altered, they'd probably get a better chance at getting more people in the door. The decor is similar to a boiling crab style, so it's very relaxed. Our server was nice, and explained what family options would be good, recommended some of the items off the menu, and quickly brought us our drinks. Now, the food..... The food was just not good.... We tried the 5 cheese shrimp and crab dip, and that looked like it was microwaved, or just sitting in a soup pot all day with green onions on top, it was bland, not cheesy, and we didn't see or taste any of the blue crab the restaurant advertises it has in it. We had the fried sampler and chose calamari and fried shrimp. The calamari was not fresh, it was frozen, deep fried, and tasted like rubber, and the shrimp was oily. We also tried the family feast to share. They brought us a big mixing bowl with our food, and got spice level 4. The only thing that tasted fresh out of our meal was the crab, which was hard to believe since the shrimp tasted overcooked, and our lobster was also overcooked. There was no flavor in our seafood, despite it being drenched in their spices also. Overall, this location would be a great place to have a seafood restaurant; but I will not be back. When we go to a seafood, crab shack, shrimp shack, anything that's from the SEA, we're looking for authenticity, and though we are nowhere near the beach, we're also looking for decent tasting seafood that will at least make us remember why we love the beach. read more

I have had my eye on this place for years now and finally got a chance to try it on my way home from Vegas. We went in and ordered to go a simple lobster roll plate and calamari rings and we sat there waiting for an hour watching people come and go because they couldn't wait any longer to be seated. I was charged ten bucks for a shot of whiskey while waiting and finally we get our food and on the drive home I open it and the lobster is 95% what I'd call filangie meat from a lobster. Who does that! I have never! I was in the restaurant bizz w/lobster rolls for years and I have never seen anything like this. I was so disappointed, tried it and got shell and the butter had literally zero salt. My husband loves calamari and it was very bland and strange textured. I am just really upset by the whole visit. I was super excited. My photo might look nice color wise but actually check out that meat, buns not even toasted and yes they were both he same crap. What took this so long? There's been so many new seafood boils in down and this one is one of my absolute new favorites! I love the sauce that the boils are made with. I tried the ghost pepper one and it burned my soul a bit but I loved that it was actually spicy!! They have a huge lobster that you can order but it has to be way ahead of time. I really love angry crab typically. Let's start with the good. The service had a few hiccups but once my real server cam it was better...Lela-she was n8ce friendly and understanding. We started with a different person and....I guess there was a miss communication with what we were saying and what she heard...lol we ordered head on shrimp traditional boil spice level 3 substitute butter (instead of water) but got head on shrimp in butter no seasoning. (Sad they are phasing out the Queen Crab though- it was the reason I kept going back.) King crab was $60 when other places had it for $90. The seafood was fresh, the sauces were tasty- not too salty. This was my first time coming here since Joes Crab Shack closed and Angry Crab Shack took its place. I'll talk about the service first: It was wonderful! Our server and every other person my family interacted with were extremely nice, informative, and attentive. The food was fairly priced and I felt like you got good value. We purchased the $75 combo with 2 lobster tails and 3 pounds of head off shrimp, potatoes and corn, and it fed all of us with plenty of leftover shrimp for later. The flavor we got (Trifecta) was amazing, and we got the mild, which was just enough spice for the kids without burning their mouths. It was a beautiful summer night and the temperature was just perfect to sit outside. Gone is the sand pit we could send our kids to play in, but the kids enjoyed sitting on the benches with their gloves and aprons, peeling shrimp and breaking crab legs. I have heard that they sometimes have gigantic whole lobsters available for a couple hundred bucks, so I will definitely be returning for either another boil for one of those giant Kaiju Lobsters. Angry Crab Shack is a decent option for a casual seafood experience. Their seafood boils are a big part of their menu. They also offer fried seafood baskets, sandwiches, seafood soups, and some Cajun entrees. It's inexpensive for seafood making it good for large families or groups. The service has been friendly and attentive on both of my visits. During our first visit all of our food came out quickly. During our second visit most of our food came out quickly, but my boil didn't arrive until well after my husband had finished eating. Our server was very apologetic and continued checking on it though. Their cocktail menu is large and we've enjoyed the fruity, sugary drinks we've ordered. As far as appetizers go, the hush puppies are tasty. Fried pickles and clam strips were fine. The Shrimp and Crab Cake Sandwich was okay, but not memorable. The Breaded Shrimp Basket wasn't my favorite. The breading was very thick and there was far more breading than shrimp. The regular French fries and Cajun fries are basic. The Seafood Boil is the way to go here. You pick your seafood, choose your seasoning, select a spice level, and choose any add ons like potatoes or corn. I went with a pound of snow crab, a pound of shrimp, corn, potato, and sweet potato. The seafood was plentiful, but not overly flavorful. I liked the trifecta seasoning which is a combination of Cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic seasoning. It's nice that they provide a bib, gloves, and all the supplies to enjoy a boil without the mess. Overall, Angry Crab is a good spot for a casual, inexpensive meal if you're craving fried food or a seafood boil. read more
