I chose this place for Mother's Day and they were slammin' yet they rocked it! Our server Nick was great. He helped us figure out the menu and food was fast and delicious. Talk about a great first impression! We will absolutely be back! I'm surprised by the few bad reviews for this place. It's a crab shack. They don't need fancy dinner wear. Once again the food made up for the bad customer service. How are you supposed to eat snow crab without a way to get it out of the shell? We skipped the crab this time because the waitress said the " health dept." won't allow them to use the scissors anymore but you could use a plastic fork to process your crab legs...later we were told by a more helpful waiter that they were just out of them because it's busy (Fri night) understandable but not acceptable So a lie/ incompetence in the back cost the restaurant 36 bucks as three of our party got meals 1/2 of what the crab cost and the second strike of not coming back. Take out. Food tastes great. They messed up our order the last three times I went. Most often they forget one or two of the sides yes we were charged. Haven't said anything before. The last time complete protein we were charged for. I called and they were defensive and accusatory at first then flipped and said they would credit my card. That was 3 months ago. Just finished lunch and was disappointed with my pivot shrimp & oyster sandwich. The shrimp were tiny 3 and 1 oyster medium size. No flavor and the seafood was cold. The bread was soft which was good. Not what I expected. It took 30 minutes to get my lunch and it's not even busy. My husband ordered clam chowder and it was good. What a fun, unique experience! A little more pricy than I usually spend, but worth it, especially on a special occasion. Kendal was excellent, the food was delicious, and it was FUN! The location is ok but just the atmosphere is different then other angry crabs, not as exciting, music is way to loud and felt like a DMV location. The main problem is the po boy sandwitches, the portions are great but on a dry white sub and DRY!! No flavor at all, don't even think they used salt! Lousy service. Was told an hour wait, waited a little after an hour then was told it would be an additional hour. Hostess proceeded to argue with me and said she told me that in the first place. Very rude.. felt no need to argue with a mediocre employee with no service skills. Although food is good. There are many other restaurants I can choose from decided to take my business elsewhere. Thought I would grab a catfish basket to bring home for the Super Bowl. When I got in my truck and checked the order there was only 1 Filet. On three previous occasions when I've ordered the meal there were 2 filets which one would expect for 12.oo. So I went back in expecting them to say sorry and the Manager accused me of lying. She said they have always only served one filet and if I got two each time when I've ordered then I had ordered one filet ala carte each time. I don't even think you can order 1 filet ala carte online. The Manager seemed mad and huffy that I would have a problem with my order. It's a restaurant. It's usually fairly easy to have an unhappy customer leave with a smile. But why would you accuse a customer of lying about their orders? And to top it off since I ordered online she said she would have to email their vendor to refund my money. It will be interesting to see if I ever get my money back. This is really a shame for a manager to treat a customer this way. I try to support local businesses during these tough times but I will never step foot in this restaurant again. read more

Opening night started off with a N'awlins bang! We were greeted by pirates, given beads without having to do anything provocative, and started off with a couple of fresh daiquiris. We are so thrilled to have this place across from our house---yup, we can drink and walk home! Decor was great, service was friendly and everyone loved their food. After reading all the rave reviews, I was excited to try this place. Went for lunch and got the Catfish Angry Basket. My husband ordered the Brisket Sandwich. The Brisket was tough and bland. The cornbread is awful and they don't even give you butter. The Catfish was decent. Loved the breading on it and the tenderness inside. The Cajun seasoning on the fries does not taste good at all. Just get the regular fries. Service was okay but we had to keep asking for things they didn't bring. Ketchup, extra sauce, etc. Maybe the buckets are better than the other menu items but we won't be going back. read more

We just love coming here! I'm so happy to have this place in our neighborhood. We love the relaxed atmosphere, the incredible food, and most of the servers we have had have been great (we especially love Victoria). The only thing I have an issue with is the spice level isn't always the same. Most of the time I like a 2. Once it was so flipping HOT so next time I got a 1. That one was so bland so I got a side of 2 and that was not hot enough and it kind of ruined my shrimp. Last time I got the two and it was perfect. They charge for the little sides, not much but I would prefer them to just be more consistent. It sure hasn't stopped us from coming back. We eat here way more than we probably should! read more

We have driven by this location countless times over the past 4 years. They always seemed to be very busy. We stopped in last week for dinner. We arrived a little earlier than usual so that we didn't have to wait. We were not disappointed. The server, Taylor, was amazing. She took the time to walk us through the menu and when we asked for some advise on items, she new exactly the portion size and what specially was in each item we ordered. The portions were very generous, I was surprised how big they were. The food was delicious, fresh and very appealing. I think the hush-puppies were the best I've ever had. I really enjoy this place. My bf and I are here pretty much every week, and they never disappoint. Because I'm here so much I make it my mission to try something new every time I come. Each time I get something new it's delicious. Today, I did the grilled beef. WhIch probably isn't ideal for a seafood restaurant but it was very tasty.
