Delicious food! Great atmosphere! Service is friendly! Perfect place for a low key date or for a party of 6 for any occasion. Seating indoors and out. Level of spices keeps it exciting! Choice of drinks is perfect for a ladys night, or a guys night! They even have turf options if your not info surf.

Did an online order for pick up, and over the year this location is a hit or miss with the service and food. This time around it was the fries, we ordered 2 sides of $6 Cajun fries and got this amount, we questioned the amount upon pickup, the employee told us the fries are now being weighted. I have been to other locations and never had this problem. It's just disappointing for the price for that amount.

Service was outstanding. Our waiter explained how the bags worked. Food was very good too. I had the catfish which was delish! Wife had the 1lb of head off shrimp, medium spice with the sausage. Manager came by and was very nice too. Highly recommend! We will be back

Let's start from the service because, honestly the food can be top notch but if the service sucks.. then what does it matter. In this case everyone was kind professional, Our waitress was named Star and such a great choice of name cause she was a total STAR... she was friendly gave great recommendations and made THE best bloody mary I've had in awhile (that in itself says alot lol). We have the oysters wings and red beans rice and grits. The food was great. Service was spot on. We will be back. I recommend you try this one for yourself.

Came here on Father's Day about an hour after opening. It was not busy yet so we were immediately greeted and seated. The place was nice and clean. We got a kids chicken tender meal, charred oysters, the trio boil (no head shrimp, lobster tails, crab legs, potato, and corn)- I added 2 eggs, a crab leg boil, and and a side of fries. Everything came out fresh and hot. The waiter was good overall. He did disappear for a bit after bringing the appetizer before the main meal was delivered and I wanted lemons for the oysters but he eventually appeared again. The oysters were good but not like they've served them in the past. That's the only reason for the 4 star rating. Overall, it was a good visit.

Had such an amazing experience at the Angry Crab here in Laveen. Marly was amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu. Thank you Marly for giving us such an amazing experience!

WOW! What a fun time. We sat at the bar, and Marissa took care of us, she was THE BEST! The food, came out fast, and was out of control good. The medium spice and trifecta was perfect, all of the seafood was so good, and we just had the best time. My boyfriend's first crab boil! Thank you Marissa for the BEST experience, and for all the bad reviews on here, maybe you went to a different location....

Say hello to your new favorite downtown restaurant! Wow, where to begin?…read more Service was amazing - they even printed out a small card with our reservation name on it which was presented on our table. Such a cute touch and very thoughtful. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The spot is small and chic. It's very intimate dining so you'll be sitting close to the table next to you. Luckily, it's a quiet and calm space, so no need to worry about noise. The food was incredible. The salmon crudo was possibly the best crudo I have ever had in my entire life. So fresh and the flavors were balanced to perfection. The risotto changed my life... it was so delicious I couldn't even believe it. The only thing I would recommend skipping was the octopus tostada - not my favorite and a little fishy for my liking. Personal preference of course! The duck tasted great and was beautifully presented, but it wasn't my favorite. Again, I'm not a huge meat eater so take my advice on this one with a grain of salt. Overall an extremely romantic and special meal.

To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

We arrived around 6:15 for our priority seating reservation, which wasn't until 630 but considering we didn't know what parking would be like we wanted to ensure we were there on time. We waited outside the restaurant since it was pretty crowded on the inside waiting space, they had cool water jugs for those of us not wanting to order a drink while we were waiting. Our table was ready around the same time for our reservation, and we were waited on attentively upon sitting down. I believe our waiter's name was Lorenzo, we had expressed that this was our first time and we also were wanting to try oysters for the first time so he gave us good recommendations on which one would be a good fit for us. We ended up trying the sweet Jesus oysters, and of course I am not a fan, but my husband was willing to give it another shot another day. I think one of the biggest positives about it being a mostly seafood base restaurant as it doesn't smell like a seafood restaurant normally does, the environment aspires to be romantic. However, the noise level really makes it difficult to hear whoever you're with. My husband was sitting literally shoulder to shoulder with me, and I struggled immensely to carry on meaningful conversation because of competing with other tables noise levels. The fish was cooked to perfection and the lemon butter sauce was to die for, the broccolini was delicious as well. My husband enjoyed his fish however he did say that for the price we paid for the fish he thinks the fillet should've been bigger. He also enjoyed his asparagus side. They were able to arrange the sign to say happy anniversary to us, I just don't have the picture since it's on my husband's phone. We celebrated the end of our dinner experience with a slice of chocolate cake, which was so delicious, and the pistachio gelato. Overall, it was a good dining experience, but it will definitely be a while before we return due to it being a more pricey dining option as well as the loud environment. * side notes: *parking is valet, only which is complementary, if you don't have cash, your valet attendant can take Venmo as a tip form. *Bathrooms are extremely clean, men and women, but women's has only two stalls so you may be waiting a while.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation.
