I've never had a bad experience here. I came today with two friends, one who is from Denver. She wanted to try this place. Service, as usual, was excellent and the food very good. I had a Rahmschnitzel with chicken, my friend had a Jaegerschnitzel and a dark beer, and his daughter had a Bretzel and then a Bratwurst and later cherry turnover. I sampled an Angry Lager beer, which our waiter Chris said was a combination of a Mexican Lager and a German Lager brewed by Barrio Brewing in Tucson just for this restaurant. It was good, but I ended up not ordering a pint to avoid being full. I had spotted a tasty-looking Biscoff cake (similar to Tiramisu) but then the $11 price tag for one slice was too high. Today was the first time I've been here when it wasn't busy. We got seated and waited on right away and the food came out quickly. We left at 2pm and the place looked quiet. It's probably a holiday thing.

I asked a friend that lives out there if shIe had a recommendation for some place for us to eat. This is where she recommend. We pulled up to this small building. The menu we saw online didn't have many of the dishes in the "in person" menu. So I'm attaching a current menu. The prices weren't bad. The food was yummy. I was sad that the lemon pie and the lemon cake were gone by the time we got there. Maybe next time. The restaurant was clean and I was impressed with the staff. As i watched, I noticed wait staff was helping all the tables, not just w do they are responsible for and they joked and laughed with three other tables. It was just a nice atmosphere. Be sure to check this place out.

I get mine with gravy on the side. The mushroom gravy was excellent as well

Food tasted great. You can substitute sides. Portions were large. Service was good. The desserts looked amazing that they said were made fresh every day but sadly we didn't have room. Ambiance isn't there for lunch but maybe they jazz it up for dinner service. Prices seemed a little high. No lunch special menu.

Finally made it to Sierra Vista and to the Angry German restaurant after visiting Kartchner Caverns. The food and service are phenomenal. I ordered the Jaegerschnitzel and my friend had the Rahm Schnitzel. We also had the Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese Bites which were delicious. The only thing lacking was the decorations. For a German restaurant there wasn't a lot of German decor or anything relating to Germany. But despite that everything else was amazing. I would absolutely go there again for the food. And I would like to try their desserts!

There are very few German food options in Tucson & I've found their food truck to be my favourite by far, even though their menu is limited to only several delicious different wursts with saurkraut & spicy German mustard. They are only open for a few hours a day, usually 3 times a week in 3-4 different locations. I frequent them in their Picture Rocks location every Tuesday & have never been disappointed.

I love the cozy atmosphere here and Polish decor. I did a to- go order for this though. I tried…read moretheir new vegan pierogies with a filling of mushrooms and buckwheat, caramelized onions and a side of house-made sauerkraut. They forgot to add the dill at first but brought me some when I asked. I added my own sour cream that I make by draining my homemade dairy- free yogurt. I really enjoyed trying their sauerkraut as they make it quite different than the one I make so it was fun and interesting. I enjoyed the pierogies but wished there were more mushrooms in the filling for more mushroom flavor and juiciness. I also wished the onions were more caramelized and browned. The dough didn't make me emotional thinking of my Polish grandma (I literally was brought to tears when I had the soft and tender vegan pierogies at Red Rock Deli in Albuquerque) but it was definitely good still and I am happy they added a vegan option. I hope to see more! It seemed to me like the service here would be great. Adorable place! My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Polish food on a road trip? That was a first for us, and honestly, it felt a little like pulling…read moreover for comfort you didn't know you needed. It definitely delivered where it mattered most, especially for my husband's Polish DNA cravings. The pierogies were good, the gołąbki held their own, and the salad... well, it showed up and did its job. No drama there. The space is where this place really leans in. Cute, full of character, with decor and music that actually make you feel like you've stepped into something authentic. That part gets an easy five stars. Service was warm and genuine. I didn't catch her name, but our server, a lovely young woman with long braids, was attentive, helpful, and made thoughtful suggestions without overdoing it. All in, it's not the kind of place you detour hours for, but if you find yourself nearby and craving something hearty and nostalgic, Polish Cottage fits the bill nicely. Sometimes a meal just needs to hug you a little, and this one did.
