Stopped for lunch while traveling the area. Had 2 slices of cheese pizza and a water for just under $10 including tip. Pizza slices are giant and so amazing. Love the crispy crust with a light sauce I'm sure they make home made. Service was great, pizza slices came out in less than 5 minutes, both flaming hottttt. The food was good but the service was seriously lacking. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there was one other table being served. After finally being acknowledged and ushered to a booth we ordered drinks and our food order. The server wasn't very attentive and seemed to care less whether we ate or not. The owner acts and speaks like a brute. Rude, but not as rude as the server! Food was awful, especially the iceberg lettuce salad with 3 slices of cucumber and some red onion along with bottled Ranch dressing. Pizza: salty! All crust. The bathroom was filthy. I used it after the waitress finished. She knowingly left it without toilet tissue. And, it is OVER-PRICED! Don't use this restaurant for a group. Went today for lunch, first visit on recommendation from neighbors who said this was the best pizza around. Ordered The Works. What I got was undercooked crust, veggies from a can, and a very disappointing pizza. Not as disappointing as the reaction from the staff. Sure they apologized but had the nerve to tell m to come back when the "real Chef" gets back from vacation. No offer of a comp, no discount, nothing other than an thin apology for a soggy, flimsy straight out of a can $18 pizza. I assume they can do better, but I probably won't be back. If you go, follow their own advice and wait a couple weeks to order pizza. read more

I just didn't feel like I was part of the "regulars" there. The waitress was nice. The food was a little bland. We had a decent pizza our second time but have a complaint with a older female... Maybe one of the owners. As we went to pay, she asked how everything was. When someone asks me this I will not BS them. I explained it was better than our first experience a month prior, and on that visit my dinner was bland and I ended up not eating it the following day. She seemed a bit testy, but I continued. I further explained that on this visit the pizza was ok... but I wanted to know one thing. Why could I not trade the salad offered and trade it for another simple piece of Italian bread and butter - I cannot digest salad because of gastric bypass surgery. March 17, 2017 was the second time we visited this establishment after having a good experience the first time. However, this time, the restaurant was more crowded than the last. The greeter opened a section and took us to a benched seat with 4-5 small tables, for numerous parties. We do not like those seats as there is no privacy. When the waitress and an older lady came into the room, we asked if we could sit at a booth and explained why. The older lady rudely stated, " you can only sit there if it doesn't become crowded; but you can't sit there all night chatting". My husband and I looked at each other; and said, "never mind we do not have to stay here at all". That is not the way to greet paying customers. When I called to speak with a manager, we found out that she was the owner. We will NEVER go to this establishment again, there are too many restaurant choices. My family has visited this location for locals quite a number of times..mostly for the pizza..the pizza has always been delicious..fresh homemade dough and a sauce with just the right balance of acid and sweet...score! The family owned place is clean with a staff that is courteous and professional. They can accommodate large groups and there is plenty of seating both inside and out. So my friend told me to order pizza and put it under his name I said ok and I call the female owner picks up and asks if it will be under my name, I said no and it would be under my friends name and I told her my friends name. Stumbled on this place while visiting family. Looked promising.. non-chain, tucked away in a strip mall, "family-owned", had several tv awards, etc. The reality was entirely different. The service was.. "okay". 2/5. The waitress was somewhat friendly but that's about it. Food sucked. We wanted to try their "famous pizza" by the slice, but they stop serving it at 3pm. Bread was garbage. The cheesy bread was also garbage. We all ordered different entrees and they all looked the same, used the same lousy sauce from the can. I think Chef Boy-ar-dee tastes better. Def a Quantity over Quality place. Take the family. Heck, take the neighbors kids too. They won't care. Might be most similar to Chuck-e-Cheese's, but without the fun games. I was in town from Jersey, with my boyfriend and his family and I was craving some pizza so we found this spot next to our hotel and figured we stop in. The place looks very nice and welcoming and we ordered two slices. As we got in the car and ate our slices. OMG..... The pizza was so good and fresh and it was everything. It was so good we ordered more the following night after our event to take back to our room for a late night snack. Lol what we didn't eat we took on the road back home to Jersey lol. We had the sausage pie the second round. We made the order over the phone and they were helpful and nice. I debated on not leaving this review because I feel awful doing so, I'm not a complainer by any means. I usually just choose not to order from the restaurant anymore and move on, but this place is an exception. We decided to try somewhere new on Sunday night and after reading amazing reviews on Foursquare, we ate here. No joke.. the food looked AND tasted like somewhere Gordon Ramsey would visit for Kitchen Nightmares. The wings were dry, hard, and tasted like they were pre-cooked and just reheated in the microwave. Ranch tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The pizza was soggy and the amount of toppings was overbearing and bland. There were so many bacon bits that some of them didn't even cook all the way through. The pizza was edible after scraping off all of the toppings, including the cheese. The crust is actually good, so I'll give them that. Maybe I just ordered on an off night, but regardless, never will eat here again. read more

Went here this past Friday. Have heard a lot about it and it's not far from my house. Came here with a girlfriend for pre-movie nom noms. It is really cutesy on the inside and has pretty good decor. We ordered our sodas and mozzarella sticks which were actually really yummy and thick. The sauce was kind of eh. I wasn't overly impressed. It really didn't have a flavor. I'm usually a fan of sauces that have a mellow tomato-y flavor as I can't handle very much spice. On a scale of 1-10. I can handle a 1 or 2! My friend got the hoagie wrap which was like turkey and bacon wrap with fries. I got spaghetti with marinara sauce and it came with bread. My friend had about 3 or 4 bites of her wrap and said it was kind of really bad. She liked the fries and ended up eating some of my spaghetti. The noodles were good but, the sauce was eh because it was the same as the mozz sticks. The bread to be honest, tasted more like a really thick, grain, maybe Germany or Czech bread. It was just okay. We had Kelly as our server and she was good. She was really fast and the food came at a perfect time. I did like that and she was speedy with refills which is always a plus! I probably won't come back just because the food really wasn't too my liking. It seemed all cooked well but, the flavor just wasn't my style. Solid Italian restaurant, last time we had the toasted ravioli appetizer, stuffed manicotti, and eggplant parm, all served hot and tasty, portions big enough we end up with a go box every time. DH goes regularly for the 2-slice pizza lunch, at $6.95 plus a drink, it's one of the few places that he can lunch for $10 (before tip). The pizza is crisp crust (but not thin cracker crust) good New York style, fold it if you want. The dining room has been thoroughly updated over the last couple years, opening up the entry way which was badly needed, adding a separate bar area, and expanding into the space next door, for a big increase in seating space. The atmosphere is classic Italian bar/restaurant, with of course murals of Italian scenes and nostalgia, but nicely done. The majority of seating is in padded booths - which we always prefer - with a few tables. Wait staff have always been helpful and attentive. read more

We went back to Anna's for Dinner, my wife loved the Eggplant Parm. 4 stars for that. I ordered the 3 Cheese Pizza/ White Pizza. I forgot, however to add either Basil leaves & roasted cherry tomatoes or mushrooms. So, I only added red pepper flakes & olive oil. It was OK, but the crust was a bit soggy and the pepper flakes were very mild, little taste in the olive oil. I need to try something else. Nice friendly atmosphere & service. read more

Overall a great slice of pizza, but for great you have to go with a freshly made whole pizza right out of the oven. With the lunch special which comes with 2 slices and a drink, unfortunately the pizza slices were just not as good. They tasted as if perhaps the pizza had been made earlier and they just heated up the slice, which I assume is pretty typical for how most "pizza by the slices" are reheated. Love Annas. Went for years. Last week we ordered two pizzas. Luckily I decided to check it because one was wrong fortunately we noticed in the parking lot. Let it go. Today ordered two large again. My husband went to pick them up 30 minutes away. Again they gave him the wrong pie but he didn't check. They called when he was nearly home. Not only was it the wrong pizza but the wrong size. We were having company and did not have enough food. The manager refused to refund anything but $6 for the toppings. I told her it was unacceptable that I wanted a refund for the pizza especially since they had done it two weeks in a row. She claimed that as manager she did not have the authority to refund anything but the toppings and I would have to wait till the owner came in on Tuesday. Absolutely ridiculous! I have never met a restaurant manager who didn't have the authority to deal with a customer service issue. It was the most frustrating conversation I've had and admit that in the end I was yelling and not very nice--to no avail of course. No more Annas for me. Clearly they don't value their customers if they are unable to refund a lousy $20 for ruining someone's meal. Yes there are more important problems in the world but if you are there to serve customers then service customers and hire competent staff who can read a label. read more

Owner is a total asshole. They have lasanga pictured in menu taking up whole plate and looking like a full sized portion...then i get sent out a kid sized portion. So our waitress takes it back and a different rude female manager or waitress attempted to come out and combat me on it and say loudly that she will just throw it away in a snippy tone as if i cared at all what came of the lasagna. (not our waitress, she was really good and was one of the few bright spots of the experience) and then we get to the douchebag of an owner who gets loud and disrespectful in front of all the other guests and attempts to make me look like the asshole and explain that the portion is smaller because they took the photo up close...as well as on a smaller plate to make it appear like its a full plate sized portion...well guess you photo tricks backfired. Then says loudly "so if i make you the spaghetti ( which i got in replacement and was abaolutely amazing AND EXACTLY LIKE THE PORTION PICTURED) you just gonna complain again and send it back too?!" Again trying to make me look like an asshole in front of all his other guests when i was trying my hardest to stay polite and not snap on the rudeness of an owner whose bills are paid by having good food and customer service. I would have even paid the same price as the lasagna for the cheaper spaghetti but couldnt even have a civil conversation with that asshole. Sucks because the spaghetti was amazing and the cook and our waitress were very nice and respectable in fixing the situation. Won't be back as long as that clown owns the place. read more

Anna's has been a family favorite of ours for years. It has always been our go-to spot for lunch after church on Sundays. Their prices are great, portion sizes are appropriate and eventually they learn to remember your name and what you like. It's like our own local "Cheers"! Anna's is good. The decor isn't that nice; however, they've improved from before. I had the fried zucchini and it was pretty good. I also ate the spaghetti with mushroom sauce. The sauce was burnt. Their mushroom sauce is a mix of a marinara sauce and mushrooms. It came with bread that was tasteless. It also came with a salad that was great. They make their minestrone soup but apparently don't make their chicken noodle soup. I don't know why they wouldn't make their own soup. I'd probably come back. read more
