After you have tried a dozen different nail salons, they all seem to have their pros and cons. This was the first time I had a pedicure for $17.99!! It is a small place tucked away in a shopping center next to the foot massage business. The first time I went in it was packed and I decided to get a foot massage first as it would get the calluses softer for the pedi. Great decision, as it was quite less crowded when I returned. It seems that most salons nowadays have the menu and if you really want a scrub on your feet, they will charge you a lot more money for what used to be done as a customary pedi job. The lady who did my pedi was very nice and did a decent job. They do a couple of minutes of back rub at the end of the pedicure. :-) read more

The first time that I've came to that Salon I've Experienced that is the best Service I seen for all the Nails Salon that I've been to. The one that I recommended is AIMEE NGUYEN she so great Nails technician, I love her personality, hard worker, best services and do the great job as always. You will not disappointed from Her. I had my nails done by Julie. I got clear almond shaped nails, with pink powder, and light pink gel on top. Julie was amazing and took her time. Any mistakes that she made she assure to go over them and did not wait for me to comment. I will definitely be going back to her. I do think I could've gotten away without getting gel but my nails look great. And the pricing is not bad at all! The only thing I did not appreciate was coming into the salon and feeling like nobody wanted to take me as a customer. They were scrambling to see who would. Hopefully it was just a one-time thing but I will be giving them a second shot because of Julie. read more

Thank you Susan for my fabulous and clean looking nails!! It has been awhile since I've been back here but every time I always ask for Susan. She is absolutely wonderful! I had an ingrown toenail that was so painful I could not put pressure on my foot. Susan took her time and carefully removed it. I didn't feel any pain at all! She also took her time cleaning my nails and paid special attention to how I like the shape of my nails. I asked for a pink manicure and she even suggested adding a silver accent to it. I absolutely loved the way my nails turned out! This place usually gets busy on the weekends so make sure you call first. I always call to ask if Susan's available but I'm sure the other employees are just as good too! read more

I've been coming here off and on for years. Ladies are very nice. But I went in last night for a gel manicure fill. The girl was in a hurry because it was 6:20pm when I walked in. She used the electric tool to file the previous powder on my nail down, and as she was using the cuticle tool, she nicked me. It bled and the tool wasn't sterile because she got it out of her pencil box and wiped the white cuticle skin from last clients off in her towel and started using on me. I was very upset and sent a notice to my dr to see if I should get tested because of this. I work in the medical field and this would be a huge fine if this happened in my place of work. Very upset and won't be back. read more

I used to always come here before covid no problems. I recently got my nails done Thursday morning and my thumb nail broke off( not in photos) the same day. I went to get it fixed and the lady kept telling me the only way it will break off is if I got into a fight with my bf. I told her it broke off sometime while I was washing dishes. Then seemed mad because she was suppose to leave at 7:30 but instead had to stay and fix one nail !! .. Then Saturday my pointer finger nail pops off and I was upset , I couldn't fix it because I was out off town. Then a few hours later my other thumb nail pops off while I was put my necklace on ! 3 nails broke less then 3 days just a waste of $50.Never going back.. sorry not sorry. read more

I am so disappointed I have to find a new salon. I will say the best and only thing about this place is Kathy. I've been coming here for YEARS with minimal complaints but thought I could deal with it because it's close to home. I do not care anymore. I've recently figured out they reuse tools, not sure they even clean/sanitize them as they're thrown back into a pencil box after use. I'm currently sitting in the salon chair getting a pedicure and I ask for the sterilized tools in the blue packaging which I'm provided. Tell me why I'm watching the worker next to me take tools from a blue "sterilized" packaging, run them through the water at the pedicure station, then place them back in the same blue "sterilized" packaging. I take a closer look at the blue packaging I'm provided with and it's dirty inside. Please do not go here, not worth it. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for quite some time now and I thought it was great that I live right next to this one. However, I have always had mixed signals about this place and my experience today made me realize that I will no longer be wasting my money here. I made an appointment today at 11:45am with my sister and we both got a pedi and a full set. They immediately got us seated right away and started working on us. The lady that was working on my full set was taking too much time filing and shaping and when she finally started to paint my nails, my sister was already done with her nails. Then a client of hers walked in and was waiting to get her nails done, she began to paint my nails faster and even made noticeable mistakes and asked me to put it through the UV light. Her coworker stood next to me and pointed out that it was messed up but she didn't care because she had another client waiting on her and at this point I couldn't ask her to redo it because my sister had a flight to get to. After she was done with my nails all she said was "ok done" and I looked down at my nails and saw paint and glue all over my fingers AND she didn't put cuticle oil on! My fingers were dry DRY! Overall feeling of my nails after the session was sore due to her constantly poking her nails in between my skin and nails so she can file the bulky acrylic down. I appreciate the effort of her taking her time to file and shape my nails however, she shouldn't have quickly polished my nails when she knew she was having a difficult time doing French tips. Please pay attention to detail! So here is the finished product. I paid $155 for the both of us about $75+ each. It was NOT worth it. read more

Still one of my favorite places to go for some "me time"! The remodel is very crisp and clean looking, and I love their new deluxe pedicures! As always, Anh does an amazing job on my toes, taking her time to give me a perfect design (sometimes trying a couple different ones before she comes up with one she's happy with!) I love how she always comes up with something new for my toes! It's always a treat coming in here! read more

Walked in on Saturday afternoon for a Gel Fill and they were able to take me in right away, even though they were packed. It was my first time here so I didn't have a preference on who, but Julie did my nails and I was pleased with her service. She took her time and was very gentle with the drill and filing. I just got a basic gel fill and it was only $25, cheaper than most places. I would come here again! Also side note, they did have a lot of side conversations in Vietnamese but they did not once say anything about the customers other than to communicate what the services were being requested. I can't speak for every other time or situation, but just thought I'd throw that out there bc I know salons tend to get a bad name for it and this was my experience. read more

This place is the worst place when I first started coming here it was the decent then they started doing a shitty job I've never had ingrowns until I started coming here and not only do I have ingrown on my toes on my fingers as well my conwokers and I have had in growns from this place !!! I have gotten a pedicure on Monday and as soon as they told me to go my toe got messed up and when I come back the lady tells me you should've got gel and I said I never get gel on my toes and what's the difference my nails are messed up on my fingers too and it's gel !! Had a very bad experience getting a manicure done. Never coming back. I went here since my manicurist was on a vacation, and it made me appreciate how nice she is. My cuticle was left bleeding during the process, and I wonder if they ever sterilize the tools. read more

Here I am typing this with two broken nails, and one that needed repairing 4 days after it was put on. I really like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but after my last experience here, I'll be looking for a new place to go. This is after being a customer for many years. Let me tell you why I'm done with them. Came in for a fill a week and a half again (yes 3 broken nails within that time frame) I was seated right away and my nail technician began working. Halfway thru, a client came in very late for her appointment. My nail technician began rushing through my nails, cutting me and just plain trying to get me done. Once she rushed through most of it, she had one of the ladies sitting around put on my polish. I'm sorry, I honestly hate complaining but this lady was so slow, she was acting as if she had never painted nails before. The quality job was so bad, I had to tell her to fix several nails because she was leaving parts without polish. Anyway, I pay, I still tipped and I get the heck out of there with my half assed new nails. A couple days later I have an itch on my arm, I scratched it lightly and one of my nails just crumbles off. LOVELY, I'm extremely busy, I work and have a small child. I barely make enough time to treat myself every so often by getting my nails done. Not to mention, the upkeep isn't cheap. I don't have the time to getting them fixed because they weren't done properly the first time. My nails were fresh and I didn't wanna rock one broken one so I go in to have it repaired. Again, a waste of my time because 3 days after this one another pops off. The next day, another. There you have it, I'm done with going to Annie's. Rushed service that is poor quality, a waste of money and my time. read more

Lena does the best artificial nails& gel sets. She is fast, professional and does the best job. I have not had any of my nails break or chip. I've sometimes h Gone 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks and they're still very strong. Thank you Lena for doing an amazing job. read more

Went to Annie's Design Nail Salon today because the place I normally go to with my normal lady, was packed. She said she is busy all day today and won't have an appointment until tomorrow. Needed a pamper today, not tomorrow. Decided to yelp places near my house, and I grew up in the area, it's right next to the Safeway that I go to and I've seen it in the plaza for sometime, just never went. It's also right across from a Wells Fargo. I read the Yelp reviews and it seemed like the consensus was that Mai and Lena are really good at what they do. Lena was booked, and Mai had the next available appoint, 11am. So glad I was pampered by Mai. She's so wonderful. I went early, I was greeted by someone and asked if I wanted water or tea. Mai walked over, introduced herself, and told me, I was early, and she was finishing up with another customer and she'll be right with me. I liked that. She was definitely cordial. She is friendly, she definitely takes care of you, the full nine. My pedicure looks great and I am definitely satisfied. My legs feel great too, I opted out for the $35 package, includes, massage, hot towel, paraffin wrap, scrub and all. So glad I went there. Forgot to add, Mai sanitized her instruments/tools prior to me having to ask. She did it right in front of me. In between the other customer and myself, she sanitized the foot bath area, and did a full wipe down on the chair. Plus plus plys in my book. Only drawback, it's a cash only place. There's an ATM machine inside of the nail salon, but if you're a Wells Fargo customer, just walk across and pull out money w/o the extra charge for the ATM fee. I will definitely be back. Thanks Mai for pampering me! :) Definitely also recommend to make an appointment with Mai as she gets busy busy. :) read more

I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS! Over 10+ years, been here since the previous owner Anthony, and Young owned this nail salon! NEVER HAVE I EVER RECEIVED A PLAIN MANICURE AND MY NAILS TURN YELLOw! I had hated how the new owner was running the shop but my mother still loves it! So I sucked it up, now I am keeping what I say, I WILL NO LONGER BE GIVING THEM MY BUSINESS. CHEAP NAIL POLISH! Giving my nails air before going elsewhere! So upset! Don't get me wrong I love Linda and Lina they do overall a fabulous job. But I don't appreciate not warning your customers about the possible cheap nail polish that you supply to your customers that as well go on their toes! Check your toes if you get a pedicure and choose one of their colors!!!!! read more

PLEASE READ. As I'm typing this I'm cutting away dead skin from my big toe that they butchered here. I went in for a pedicure and they cut unto my toe pretty deep. I cringed but thought 'hey they gotta do what they gotta do to fixed these overgrown hooves.' Left. Toe was sore for a day. Week goes by and I'm still limping around like a cripple. Then comes the pus. Toe is totally infected. Now almost a month later it's barely started to heal and I'm now wary if all future pedicures. If you want a pedicure that makes your feet look like Freddy Kruger's asshole by all means come here. Btw check the pics to see said asshole toe. read more

She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. The lobby and overall space is well curated. The lobby has a coffee and tea bar that also has water post massage. 100/10 be sure to call and make an appt for you're girl!Can't wait to be back!

I think there are masseurs (male) too but I have so far not tried any - In each massage room, it has heated bed to help you relax - It's close to home! I was placed in a couples massage room and they go above and beyond for relaxation here: there were bowls of essential oils (?) with flowers right below where you put your face through the pillow when you lie down. So not only will you get massaged, you'll smell only nice things while doing so, making the whole sensory experience quite elevated. My masseuse adjusted pressure as we went along and as I asked. Even marked that one knit and she truly kneaded that out !! When I went home and lied on top of my heating pad, my muscle were sooo relaxed. Overall: 1000/10 recommend. I'm for sure coming back!

Unfortunately, the entire session was not what I expected. For most of the 90 minutes, she used her elbow to press very hard on my shoulders. It did not feel like a Swedish massage at all -- it felt overly aggressive and uncomfortable. Today I woke up with severe shoulder pain. My shoulders are extremely sore, and I honestly feel worse than before the massage. I came in to relax and receive a proper Swedish massage, but instead, the session consisted mostly of intense elbow pressure and stretching. It was very disappointing and not what I paid for. I will not be returning.

In my opinion, tipping should always be OPTIONAL but I will always tip for services knowing it is optional. Also here's the math: the total was $254 and I tipped $50 which is ~20%. I did the math in my head so I knew I maybe short with some change. When I do the calculation on a calculator it should've been $50.80. I was short $0.80 but I didn't think that much would be bothersome??? Giving 4/5 for all the good experiences. However for the lady, 1/5 for greed.

I thought maybe she just hated me but then I asked someone else if they were bonked and they said yes. They should let you know that your service has ended with a gentle tap on the shoulder and whisper not a forceful bonking. #NOBONKINGZONE

I've also gotten a facial by Iveta and that was super relaxing as well. Iveta is awesome at what she does and is super mindful where she'll ask if there's any specific area I'm struggling with. There was one instance where I really needed a massage but there was no availability on her calendar so I called her and she was kind enough to fit me in! I was in a hurry and need a place to give me a pedicure. I went in the sign has CASH ONLY and I was not please. I hate businesses that does Cash only, they just want to get away with tax. Since I was there, I decided just to give it a try afterall, I was in the door. I ask for a pedicure and the lady was nice enough escort me to the spa chair. One thing I like is they don't speak their language as a sign of respect for their customer. The place was unorganized, crowded and dirty though. My color polishing was poorly done as I can see the polish has line and little spot on them. I have been going to Annie's every two weeks for over a year, and I really like this shop. The manager, Anthony, is great and personable, and all the girls are great too. Tammy, she sits near the back, does my nails. She does a great job, and I am always happy. Mai does my toes, and she is great too. Her and I have the funniest conversations, and that makes my pedi all the better. Once, I tried to tell her i wanted my toe nails to be shaped differently, but she disagreed. In the end, she was right and i was wrong, so now i let her do what she wants. I always leave with my nails and toes looking good!!!! read more

I was very happy with the way my nails turned out (had them done by Lynn). The service was very friendly, but I was warned in advance about the upsell on the floor. Watch out for what you say yes to!! Everything there is a charge. Overall, if you want a decently priced mani or pedi make an appointment in advance with Lynn and then just decline all the special add-ons. Very disappointing experience. The manicure was poorly done with uneven edges, and I had to request corrections at the end. No lotion or basic aftercare was provided. The service felt unprofessional, comparable to an inexperienced home setup. Definitely not worth the money. read more
