Glad I got to visit their Campbell location (since I've been to Santa Clara), and it looks small from the outside. But it's a pretty good salon. They have a cute little waiting area to the right when you walk in and have water bottle and tea to offer. We had the two people room for the Back, Shoulder and Head massage for 50 minutes. Good service and no massage is ever long enough. But this focused area felt really good. The masseuse asked about her pressure and was attentive to making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. She used a warm towel that felt so good to wipe down/off the lotion, and I had about a 15 minute time on my back. Oh, and they did a great job taking an appointment leas than 24 hours. I got their voicemail the day before I wanted to come in, and their message said to text them. I did, and they called back within 30 minutes to set up the appointment for two. Reasonably priced (they have a small discount going on right now) and good service. Worth trying them!

This was my first ever head spa experience and it was a fantastic one! I treated my friend to a deep scalp treatment for her birthday and we had a great time. The spa itself smelled amazing, was very clean and the staff was very kind. We did the 1 hour treatment and it was very relaxing. If you're looking for an all around great head spa experience, I would highly recommend velvet head spa in Campbell.

I've been going to Velvet Head Spa now for the past year and I have to say it is definitely worth it. At first I was apprehensive, since it sounded like just a regular wash and blowout that you would just get at a typical hair salon, but it is so much more than that. When you first come in, they have an endoscope that is used to do a scalp evaluation as well as a before and after. You can see all the buildup from hair products that are left on the hair follicle as well as your scalp condition (dry/oily). As a person who uses a lot of hair products, it was interesting to see what is still leftover on your hair over time even when washing at home. Then you are taken to a private room where they will exfoliate, shampoo and condition your hair. I have tried several hair specialists and I would have to say Suzie has been my favorite and now my only go-to person. She is very thorough and makes the experience super relaxing. I have fallen asleep during the treatment several times. Whatever products they use, it feels very refreshing. In the middle of treatment, you get a neck and shoulder massage as well while whatever product they use settles in. Suzie uses the perfect amount of pressure and knows the points to hit. I like my massages on the heavier side so I'm glad she doesn't do just a rub down. After everything is washed off, you go to get your hair blow dried. My scalp feels so nice and clean after, you can definitely tell the difference once your hair is all dried. My hair felt like it had bounce again, and this is coming from someone who has long thick hair. Afterwards, you have your scalp evaluated again with the endoscope to see the results. I was blown away with the difference the treatment made and immediately became a believer. So much that I joined their membership which gives you a monthly discounted price. Service here has always been on point and the complimentary drinks are a nice touch. Highly recommend!

My friends wanted try head spa we decided to give this spot a try. Would say that overall had an OK experience and personally don't recommend it as I didn't feel like it was worth the price. We made an 1:30pm appointment, but when we arrived, the staff insisted that our appointment was at 1:15 and said that it's OK that we can get started right away anyways. There seemed to be some confusion right off the bat when we arrived for our appointment. The staff then led us into a room to use a tool to show us the conditions of the scalp. This was all good but I was just slightly concerned that they just used the tool from person to person without any kind of cleaning or sanitization of the tool. It was fine since its between the group of friends but I was curious if the tool is being cleaned across customers as a result. There were minimal instructions when they brought us into the rooms, and even though we were supposed to choose between basic or deep scalp based on the online appointment system, it seems like the staff didn't know what treatments we're getting and also didn't ask us which one we wanted so I didn't end up getting a choice. The treatment itself was fine and relaxing, but I feel like for $75 I'd rather go for a real massage. Overall, would say the experience was fine and I didn't feel amazing after but just OK. Worth a try if you're really curious.

I went with a group of friends and we were split 2 per room. The room was dim with tranquil music. When the technicians came in and started, no one was talking and it was perfect. Got the Deep Scalp Therapy: Daniel was great! The scalp massage and cleaning was very thorough! Shoulder and neck massage pressure was perfect. There was even a slight sinus, forehead, and temple massage that I didn't know I needed. Hair drying skills was on point. Asked me how I part my hair, gentle with detangling and gave a subtle little blow out. Scalp analysis, would have liked the staff that was providing the analysis to have been more informed on how to care for the issues that were pointed out. I asked the guy at the front desk-- one with the glasses and curly hair-- and he provided good advice on how to move forward with next steps for scalp care. Everyone was so nice.

I was looking around for a head spa spot and saw that this place has quite an amount of reviews. It was a last minute decision since I recently felt like my scalp was irritated. I love how cute and cozy the place is. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I had a great time with Suezie who's very informative about hair care. She was gentle but the massage was a good pressure. She knows how to do it right! The scans in the beginning and the end will tells you how your scalp looks and I thought I have oily scalp for the longest time until I did this. Part of this is for me to find out what kind of product I should use too. So far, first time, no issues for me. Will definitely return :))

What a luxurious experience. I had a 90-minute treatment with Canh that began with a personalized hair analysis and flowed into a back massage, neck massage, facial, and an incredibly relaxing hair massage and wash. My hair has never felt so clean. Honestly, I'd come back just to lie there for another 60 minutes of pure relaxation.

My friend and I really wanted to try a scalp treatment place. This place was open pretty late, and we were able to make last-minute reservations for a Sunday night! The first thing they do is look at your scalp and show you what's going on their iPad. Mine was really nasty and flaky. :( We both decided to get deep scalp therapy (50 mins) and added a facial (25 mins). I love how the services weren't rushed... and afterwards, they even blow-dried my hair, and it was so soft! I didn't wash my hair for three days, and it wasn't even oily. I had Hana, and I thought she was really good. She even asked me if I wanted to just relax or if I wanted her to let me know which steps she was doing. Since this was my first time, I wanted to know the steps. She was really soft-spoken when she explained the next steps; I still felt super relaxed. Everything felt so good. I really liked the detoxing scalp part. My scalp felt so clean and minty!! After the treatment, they show you the results on their iPad. My scalp definitely looked cleaner!! I would definitely come back and book another session with Hana. My friend also liked her treatment as well.

First time here and I booked only a few hours before my appointment. So glad they were able to schedule me in. I opted for the 60 min deep scalp hair therapy and 25 min shoulder and back massage. Tara helped me for both services and she was wonderful!! She really took the time to massage my tight shoulder and back as well as making sure i'm feeling alright. For my scalp treatment, I felt that she was very attentive and took her time, making sure the treatment is deep in my scalp and not like randomly doing it. Everything from the ambiance and space was nice and clean. Will def come back!

Today was my first time trying velvet spa and I was really pleased. I got the 90min signature with Suzie. It included back massage, facial and hair wash. I was so relaxed. I keep falling asleep. Haha! After your treatment they take you to a separate room where they dry your hair and offer you complimentary drink. I was really pleased with my visit. I can't wait to come back next time.

I came in hoping for a relaxing, restorative head spa experience with a facial, but left with my hair feeling dry, frizzy, and completely stripped of moisture. It's clear they don't know how to care for textured hair at all. The products and techniques they used were not suited for my hair type, and to make things worse, they clearly had no idea how to properly blow dry textured hair--it only added to the damage. If you have dry, curly, or textured hair, avoid this place. They are not trained or equipped to handle it, and your hair will pay the price. I let them know I did not like the results with how dry and frizzy my hair was left. They ended up just wetting it a bit with some leave in conditioner...as soon as I got home I did a hair mask and rewashed it. Side note, the facial does not include any extractions or steam.

I'm definitely not coming back here to purchase anything. It's sad that a place like this can't afford hiring a receptionist. They have to lock the door every time they are in session. I previously came here twice on different days and times to purchase products, but they were in session both times. Hence, I had to go home empty handed. My husband told me to come on the third time, and guess what, same thing happened, they are in session and still no receptionist. Unbelievable! I think it's best not to come here to purchase anything, unless you have an appointment. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work.
