The good news is they accept call ahead reservations. Now the bad. We were 5 for breakfast. Three ordered eggs and two ordered medium rare burgers. After waiting 45 minutes, two of the egg orders came out cold and we sent them back. Both burgers were well done. I asked to see the manager who promptly appeared. I told him about the cold eggs and showed him my burger. He offered to make me a new one. Ten minutes later, my new burger appeared. It was not brought to me by my waiter nor the manager. That's horrible customer service. The manager nor our waitress ever apologized for the long wait or the poorly delivered orders......and no adjustments to our bill were made. I have been to this restaurant at least a dozen times because I like their menu, but this location has some issues. The kitchen is extremely sloooowwwww and their ability to get the food out is a huge problem. I've called ahead twice and still had to wait. I've called and left a message about my order on their voicemail to find out when I got there that no one knew how to retrieve messages. Looks like the staff has turned over quite a bit, too. No consistent management may also be the culprit. I'm hoping they get their act together because in that location, there is so much competition they will end up closing their doors if they don't. read more

We frequent this location every weekend. The bartender Jesse was not working so we were very hesitant on ordering as our orders have come out wrong in the past when she's not there. We took a chance and again we were sadly disappointed . Ordered right away and our coffee and tea came out luke warm. We ordered pancakes, fried eggs and gf toast. Another regular came in 10 mins after us , ordered her drink and then breakfast 5 mins after arriving. It took about 15 mins for that customer to get her order...meanwhile we were still waiting..we're now 25 mins in...finally after waiting another 10-15 mins our food came out. By this time we were done, we refused the order and the server took the order back into the kitchen. The manager in training then exclaimed "what do you mean they refused the order" . Not sure if he realised that anyone sitting at the bar can hear the banter and communication from the kitchen. I asked to speak to a manager..which this took an additional 5 mins. He came out and exploded with excuses...no apology. This is coming from a manager who sits at the bar, eats his breakfast, and NEVER interacts with his clientele. Yummy food, but wow - bad service. I arrived at 11:30am on a Thursday and it took 10 minutes to be seated - there were 2 parties of 2 already waiting when I walked in, and they were seated shortly thereafter. I stood there for a solid 7 minutes more; three people walked by at various points and said "We'll be right with you!" but apparently it was no one's job in particular because none of them came back. And the place was relatively empty. My actual server had the sense not to use the same cheesy, over-the-top obnoxious artificial friendliness with me that she was using with the 2 seniors at the next table, but that's about the only credit I can give. There were signs in the lobby about their signature cocktails, but none listed on the 2 menus, so I checked online while my order was being prepared. When she brought my Brie and blueberry waffle (delicious), I asked if they still had the "Spiked Nutella Iced Latte." She confirmed that they did, and whether I wanted it with whipped cream. When she returned with the check a few minutes later, I asked her if the latte was coming out, and she said that it was (although the fact that she grabbed the check back suggested otherwise). So I was not surprised when she came back to report that she was "out of" the latte I requested... but I was surprised when she asked if I wanted to try the salted caramel version, holding a little plastic cup that might normally be used for a side of mayo. (Do they just have spiked coffees sitting back there? Was this poured from someone else's cup? So many questions...) At that point I was basically finished eating, so I declined. She did offer me an iced tea to go, so there's that. I've had their food delivered before, but this was my first time visiting the actual restaurant. And the food was good, but I think I'll stick with delivery from here on out. read more

What a horrible experience! This was our first, and last, time dining here at Another Broken Egg Cafe. We came here expecting a new breakfast spot, and according to the reviews, this was the place to be. The wait was reasonable, and the restaurant had a homey feel to it, but the service was horrendous! Our server started off by greeting a table that was sat after us, and took quite a while just to bring our drinks out. Once she finally brought our coffee and iced tea out, she took another ten minutes to come back to take our food order, and the table she had greeted prior to us looked frustrated by the wait as well. Finally, we put our food orders in, and our drinks ran dry shortly after. We did not get refills until we already gave her our cards. At this point, the restaurant had died down, so we couldn't exactly excuse our server's lack of attentiveness, especially considering that it seemed she only had the three tables outside. Once we got our food, it was alright. The bacon was mediocre, the crab used on the Floridian omelette tasted as if it came from a can, and the eggs were also low quality. For the price, you'd expect much more. After taking only a few bites, our server came back and threw our check on our table. Once again, we still were lacking any refills. Overall, if you're in the mood for overpriced low-quality food, and atrocious service, come here. read more

We came here on the Fourth of July and it all looked so promising. This is a nice place with a lot of great options on the menu. However I will never ever come here again. We literally waited over an hour for our food. The waitress was so busy she would run away before we could ask for anything but worst of all the food was terrible. How hard is it to cook eggs really? The eggs were overlooked, steak over cooked, omelets burnt, the ingredients in the omelets over cooked, and the home fries were something out of a bag you get a publix. I leave you with that. Food was decent, but based on the amazing reviews I had heard from friends I was actually a little disappointed. Didn't wait to get seated but once we were we waited for 10-15 minutes as a server who was training was bussing tables nearby but didn't check to see if we were ready to order once. Later, though, two of the more seasoned servers both came over and were very apologetic as they noticed how long we had been waiting. I ordered lox and bagel - the bagel was tiny, guessing it might have been a Lenders bagel, the kind you get out of a bag at the supermarket. This also wasn't even an option on the menu - I explained that I didn't want the full smoked salmon "Benedict" option with the egg etc and this seemed to cause a lot of confusion. Also ordered a cinnamon roll - that was pretty good, but again nothing special An unlimited mimosa / bloody mary option would probably help compete with some of the other brunch options in town. i really wanted to like this place but honestly i don't know if i'd go back, especially when i compare it to other places I've gone for brunch in Delray/Boca/Ft Lauderdale - i think i definitely over-hyped it in my mind! read more

I went here by myself about two weeks ago on a Friday morning. I sat at the counter hoping for breakfast and coffee. I have not had worse service in my life! The waitress was very busy and I'm empathetic to that, but it was as if she forgot she was waiting on the counter at all. 20 minutes before I ordered, zero refills on coffee offered, and another 20 minutes before she came to take my credit card after dropping off the bill I asked for by flagging her down. The two girls next to me had a similarly awful experience; it was so bad that we were laughing deliriously. This would be a one star review but the manager came over eventually and apologized profusely. (The waitress tried to apologize but seriously lacked people skills and just made it more awkward.) He gave each of us a gift certificate to return for $25. I came back a few days later with my mom, sat at a table (NOT the counter), and had a wonderful experience. Great service, good food.
