This restaurant could have so much potential but the wait for the food while the establishment is sans bustle and the lack of customer service from staff at bar (Jasmine D.) was off-putting to say the least. Not sure if she was having a difficult morning but her back was to us as we sat at the bar until we decided to speak up and greet her; she never smiled and truly seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else. The veggie delight omelet took well over 45min to come out, was dry and egg was on the burnt side. The side waffle was decent but again, took entirely too long to come out and low key, it's because our order was forgotten about; pretty sure our food was just sitting in the kitchen. I say this because it came out cold and low key rubbery. My guy friend ordered the crab benny with a side of grits. He said his was just okay. The manager came over to us and said 'I'm not even going to make an excuse, I don't know what happened' then proceeded to give us the hero's discount (about $3.65). All in all, when hoping for breakfast on a Sunday afternoon, don't assume that the establishment that is without a wait due to patronage is the best move to make. Fantastic place for brunch. You get free beignets if it's your first time there. I honestly wasn't expecting much out of a free beignet. But they were amazing. They're cooked fresh every time! After seeing the chain of restaurants all over the state, I decided to finally give this place a try with a friend who was driving through the area. I'm happy they were able to allow her dog to dine with us in the outdoor seating area which was really sweet! For the main meal, I went with the napoleon stack which was four different items: pancake, waffle, French toast and cinnamon roll and topped with fresh fruit which was the perfect touch. I also ordered a side of potatoes which were seasoned quite well and scrambled eggs that were cooked to perfection. Great place for breakfast!! Weekdays are the best. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes or greater on the Weekends. There is convenient parking in front and around the strip mall location. The menu has a variety of choices for specific tastebuds. From gluten free options (separate menu) to lobster Brie omelettes, grits and fresh fruit. Mask are suggested but not required. The restaurant also has a full bar ranging from specialised mimosas to whiskey drinks and other brunch starters! There was no salted caramel taste and in fact tasted watered down. I spent $58.69 on this food for it to not to come out now how | like it. The chicken was too dry with no flavor, the waffles were soggy and wet. On top of all of that the inside was not professional, nor were they friendly. Not one employee acknowledged me as I was just left standing at the bar for at least ten minutes before being acknowledged.The food was trash I would never order from here again. Recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe for the first on a Sunday morning with a friend for brunch! Tucked away in the Vinings Jubilee shopping plaza, there is quite a lot of free parking around but understand it gets busy and farther spots may be the only option during the time. The restaurant itself was busy and loud but cozy. We put our names down for the waitlist and we're told about 20 minutes - 35 minutes. It was closer to an hour, but once we were seated, the service was relatively quick. We could tell our server was a bit overwhelmed during the brunch rush but our orders came back without a hitch! Plus a manager continuously was walking around and checking in to make sure we were happy as well. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with a side of pancakes. I found the biscuit and gravy to be delicious. Very flavorful. I could eat that gravy on anything! However, my pancakes were hard and pretty lackluster. My friend ordered the shrimps and grits which she found to be very underwhelming. Our food came before our drinks, even before the water. We asked for them our drinks and still nothing. We were seated outside so we went inside to the bar area and no one was there at the bar. We went to the host stand and talked to someone asking for our drinks. 20 minutes passed and the server came out and apologized but she still no drinks in her hand. We asked for the check and then the drinks came. The place was closing at 2pm, we got our drinks at 1:45pm. The server did apologize again and said it was an oversight since the bartender left the area and assumed he was done. I will not return or recommend this place. I did not understand why she couldn't tell the bartender you have (2) drinks to be made. I didn't understand why she didn't tell a manager. I don't understand why one didn't come talk to our table. Came here just after opening at 7AM on Wednesday and had a great experience! We were seated immediately. With it being an early morning and a weekday there weren't too many people there yet. Our server was attentive and checked in several times for water & coffee refills. I had a small stack of pancakes and they were very delicious! The "small" stack of pancakes still have 3 giant pancakes on it. I was only able to finish about half! They were fluffy and had a lovely buttery taste without having to add any extra butter. Ok so the food was really good. They're just not staffing this location properly or training servers properly and so the service is pretty terrible. I had the seasonal special lobster hash which was FABULOUS, with biscuit beignets, and a great coffee. The special was a winner!!! The beignets were a little hard for my liking so I wouldn't get them again. Now for the service... we got on the waitlist so that was easy peasy, tho it was a 3 hour wait without it so definitely join the online list. There seemed to be only 2 or 3 waiters working which of course overwhelmed them, but there were like 6 bussers on the floor ??? You need more wait staff guys, it's not nice to set your servers up for this on the weekend. The staff was also on their phones and customers were getting up to get their own napkins and straws. There are some serious staffing issues here. A tip for super busy restaurants and managers: train all of your staff in all of the front of the house roles. If bussers see there's a need for more waiters they can jump in. Have everyone split tips and make some incentives for your folks since you know it's going to be a mad house all day. It's disappointing to leave a review like this, bc the food was excellent. I will give them another try and hopefully they will work out the staffing issues. read more

First time here and will probably be back. The traffic in the area was a nightmare but the parking was decent. The pros: - The Apple Fritter French Toast was AMAZING!!! I can't remember the last time I had any brunch food better than this. - The chicken sausage was tasty. - The shrimp and grits (substituted crawfish) was flavorful and really hit the spot. The cons: - The crab cake was bland and a mess. One was literally served to us in a mushy pile that we knew wasn't the norm because the other was perfectly formed like a normal crab cake. - We didn't receive the English muffin or one of the drinks we ordered but we're charged for them. - When we pointed out that we were charged for a drink the server sarcastically pointed out well I didn't charge you for the sausage. We thought it was free due to the inconvenience of the crab cake but by the response and lack of apology for the poor quality crab cake and forgetting the drink all together,we guess we were wrong. All I can say is have breakfast here. You won't be disappointed. We arrived on a Monday around 10am. We were seated right away. The servers are very nice. We started off with our coffee. It came in the cutest little coffee cup. We also had the beignets with a homemade marmalade sauce. It was soooooo delicious! Next was our meal. I had the lobster and City grits. Location: located in busy downtown Vinings with a small busy parking lot. Decor: I would describe it as farmhouse sheik, very clean, and cozy. Service: While I didn't dine in the hostess at the front door and the staff at the bar were all very friendly. Food: El Salvador Red Honey coffee which is honey-like and fruity with a bold taste. Cinnamon roll French Toast topped with cream cheese frosting, foster sauce, mixed berries and I had a side of scrambled eggs and grits. Everything was delicious. The food was great but our service was pretty terrible. A friend and I came here for lunch here today. All in all we enjoyed our time there but the server we had should probably choose a different profession- she was clearly unhappy and barely said anything to us except to take our order. She did not come by after dropping the food off. After a while she came back just to place the check on the table and quickly walked away without a word- I actually had to call after her to get some boxes. Pretty odd experience.
