Ok, I love Another Broken Egg. We drove out of the way for breakfast here and were sadly disappointed. From the street it looks brand new, the wear of the table and sad condition of the seats say otherwise. The sausage gravy had too much flour and was probably a week old. Bacon over cooked, omelette was disappointing. Now the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the grand opening and they provide nothing to dry your hands with. I would call this location an embarrassment to the chain and recommend a hard pass. read more

The food and service was really good, my problem was asking for Bourbon French Toast. This is breakfast is awesome but now they nickel dime you to get the bourbon, pecans and bananas. Me and my wife Stopped in at Another Broken Egg Cafe as we were waiting for our dogs to finish with the vet on a random Thursday morning. It's in a nice location with plenty of parking. Upon walking in there are people outside enjoying what looked like delicious meals. We were seated immediately on the inside and the first thing you notice is the decor. It has a modern but rustic approach which i personally love. We started off with drinks that didn't come until after we received our foods which is why they get 4 stars instead of 5. Also i had a dirty fork that was replaced. Management told us the bartender was new so I get it. I got a Pecan cold brew that also had Makers Mark. It was smooth and tasted liked coffee. Our server was great and was very insightful on the menu. We started with the biscuit beignets that were phenomenal. They were soft and airy and the perfect start to our meal. I ended up going with the lobster and brie omelette with light cream cheese (recommended by our waiter) and my wife got the shrimp and grits. The lobster and Brie omelet was flavorful and surprisingly not overwhelming with the cheese. It was soft and fluffy well worth the 15min wait. I had a taste of my wife shrimp and grits and that was amazing. Grits was cooked perfectly and was seasoned very well. The shrimp,sausage and gravy meshed like your favorite singing group. I wanted to kiss the chef for such a phenomenal meal. Outside of our drinks coming after we started eating and my fork being dirty i really had no complaints. Went on a work trip to Fort Jackson and we wanted to grab food on the way back to Fayetteville. We found this cafe and went there based on the fact that they had beignets. These alone were worth the drive and I'd drive back here just to get them. Everything else was great! I really enjoyed their mixed drinks too. Their omelettes offer an ambitious array of your typical fresh produce, but also unconventional ones like diced asparagus, and thick cut garlic clove. The place is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The best part is the incredible food! Their brunch menu was incredible with items like a Lobster omelet with cream cheese inside. The bourbon pancakes are covered in pecans, bananas, sauce, and whipped cream. My mouth was shocked by the perfection of that combo. My friend and I slid into Another Broken Egg Cafe for a light birthday brunch on a Wednesday. We had a great time at the restaurant. It is super clean, bright and fresh on the inside. Tons of booth and table seating, plus outdoor seating as well. The menu is huge and is double sided. They have a full bar and it looked like a great place to come for a weekend brunch. We both had savory breakfast dishes and they were really wonderful. I had a salmon bagel and she had the seafood omelet dish. Fast service. I ordered a serving of beignet biscuits -- they were so fun. Impossible to describe other than to say, biscuits done up like beignets?? Just try them - you will love them. Good portions. We both took boxes home which is saying something for breakfast food. We had excellent service with a warm, fun, and engaging server. Overall the dining experience was wonderful. My friends and I have been trying to get to Another Broken Egg so long, but they are always so packed (that's a good thing). Recently, we all decided to get up early and be there at 7:30 AM. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The food was great, service was great, seating was spaced out enough for COVID-19 safety. The staff had masks on (thank you) and they were all friendly. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. As soon as you walk in, the bar is on your right hand side and it so mesmerizing to look at. There were 3 of us and we all ordered the Shrimp n Grits and I ordered a side of home fries. It was good, but very very spicy. I would say if you don't like spicy, go with something else or ask if they decrease the spice (I doubt they can though). I also ordered a 1/2 dz of their Biscuit Beignets and OMG....they were delicious. I've never had Beignets before but if those were any indication of what they taste like in NOLA, I was impressed. They also have a sauce that comes with it. We had their mimosa by the pitcher. We each got 2 glasses full out of it. It was tasty. We wanted to try the infused mimosas, but unfortunately they can't serve liquor until after 10 AM. Lastly, the owner (the guy) came around and spoke to us briefly and shared a laugh. We told him it was our first time there and he was interested in our service and food. Overall, great experience. Will be going back. I want to try everything on their menu. We visited this establishment for the first time on Father's Day!! They were beyond busy as there was a 2 hour wait!! There were 45 parties ahead of us!!!! We decided to wait it out. Let me tell you that it was well worth the wait!!! The food was amazing!! The service was amazing!! My sister and I went here and she ordered the egg hash benedict. It was the worst take out order I have ever seen or made in my life so much so that it was comical. I have no idea why this was; I'm sure that this place is ok but it was pricey and not good at all definitely a waste of money! The egg came in a cup with mostly water , the sauce was just straight up oil the tomatoes where almost spoiled and the potatoes where barely cooked, they didn't even try with the taste or presentation which hadn't happened even though we had tried it before. If we had know we really would have gotten a refund. Driving past this restaurant as frequently as I do, I had to stop in one morning for a meal. Upon entrance, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. After a long glance at the menu, I decided to opt for the shrimp and grits meal. The food came out promptly and I dug right into the brunch staple. The shrimp and the suave that encased it was delicious and full of flavor. The grits were bedded below and although they complemented the shrimp amazing, I do wish there was a bit more grits to even out the flavor. I really loved it here! This was my first visit at ABEC and our experience was awesome! The food being delivered around me looked yummy as well. I will be back again because I wasn't able to try the mimosa. Our server was super sweet and attentive and the Resturant was packed. Because of the pandemic, the packed Resturant made me a little nervous, but there was sanitizer stations around the Resturant so that was a plus. This visit was much better than the first time I ate here last month. The handmade sausage is delicious way better than the bacon in my opinion today. Potatoes were crispy and seasoned well but not too much, eggs perfectly cooked. Tried the beignets for an after breakfast desert. They tasted like powdery sugary crispy biscuits you can dip into orange blossom honey we opted for the half order dish. Food came out a lot faster than my last visit here. The grub hub driver that is used to deliver was Impolite disrespectful and rude.i called this restaurant for breakfast to be delivered to me at 11:10 and expected to be eating my brunch like Order of food by 1130am The delivery driver began calling me and I calculated a new delivery time. As he left to deliver my breakfast he told me that he could not find me. I gave him a step by step list of area landmarks. Calling me back 3 X eventually I decided to cancel this order. As a 70 ye old woman I wasn't able to stand outside waiting to help him arrive. As he continued shouting help me please. At 11:45 in the hallway floor in front of my apt.door was a brown Bag. We have used the waitlist twice and both times had to wait an additional hour or more from our scheduled time to be sat. Great experience as always. Today was their soft grand opening which allowed customers to have a complimentary meal if they RSVP in advance and gave a donation to their cause. Food took so long that we barely had time to have it wrapped in time to leave to get back to work No warnings on how long it would take... no apparent concern when we let them know that we were on lunch break... 5 minutes AFTER we let our server know that we were on a tight schedule someone dropped by the table to let us know food would be out "soon"... food arrived at 12:42.
