It told us 20 minutes and it took 40. That's not a complaint, it's a statement of fact. I didn't mind the extra time. I had the Cajun omelet with a side of grits and beignet. All yummy. If you don't like grits these won't change your mind. If you do, like me, you'll be happy. My better half had southwest scramble with potatoes. She asked for no cheese and got a lot of it. Here's where the service went way down. Food took at least 40 minutes. Our coffee actually got cold. Never refilled till we got the food and had to ask. To the owner: Your restaurant is nice. The popularity of this restaurant is astounding. We came here for breakfast and I ordered the Veggie Delight omelette. What I don't understand is how a breakfast establishment does not get that when eggs are over-cooked, in essence "burned" because the frying pan is too hot, the eggs taste awful. My first dish was scorched and my second revision was also over-cooked, minus the cheese in my initial order. I threw in the towel at this point as I didn't feel that the "third time would be a charm." My husband's eggs were also burned but he soldiered through his food. The breakfast potatoes were good. Another broken egg is the perfect way to describe my most recent experience at this restaurant. Just left brunch with my family completely unsatisfied. Joined the waitlist online and was seated on time which was great. Once seated things went downhill from there. I was in a party of 6 and everyone ordered full adult meals except me; I chose to order the kids waffle sampler with an added side of potatoes. When I ordered the meal the waiter made a joke about my age and me being over the age for the kids meal. I completely understand restaurants put age limits on kids meals, but this is the first restaurant I have ever been to that actually enforces that. After the waiter made the joke about my age I said "I can order something different if I need too". The waiter said nothing and just asked what I was wanting to get so I told him again, he wrote it down and left. Once our food arrived to the table I was brought an adult size waffle and a side of potatoes. I explained that I had ordered the kids meal which comes with bacon and an egg, and at that point I was informed that because of my age I could not order the kids meal. If I had of been told this from the beginning there would not have been an issue and I would have ordered a different meal. I sent the waffle back because I did not want an adult size waffle nor did I want to pay full price for individual items whenever it is cheaper to buy things as a meal. The waiter offered to bring me out an egg and bacon which we accepted. However, when the bacon arrived it was ONE slice of bacon but yet we were charged for a full order of bacon. My one egg, one slice of bacon, and order of potatoes ended up costing just as much as my family members who ordered full meals. On top of this it took at least 10 minutes for us to get our drinks after we ordered them; my mom ordered coffee and asked the waiter for a French vanilla creamer and did not receive it until her next cup of coffee we had to ask a neighboring table for some for her first cup because our waiter did not bring it; my aunt did not receive her order of toast until she was over halfway finished with her meal; and my aunt who asked to substitute her sausage for bacon was brought both and charged for both (the waiter did remove the charge for her order of bacon). Typically I would have spoken to a manger, but due to being on a schedule I was unable too. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I have no intention to return anytime soon. read more

I am really shocked by all the positive reviews here. Our experience was lackluster at best. It took over 45 minutes to get our drinks (bloody Mary's and mimosas). When our food arrived an hour and 10 minutes later, we were given the wrong order (1 out of 4 dishes was wrong). The pancakes were cold, rubbery, and could not be eaten. The server (the only positive of the experience) had to replace our silverware 3 different times because every piece was filthy. Overall a really disappointing experience. read more

Wait staff was very friendly and attentive (but not annoyingly so!). The place was almost empty though so not sure if the service would hold up when it is busy. As far as the food it was overall just ok. I got a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, potatoes, homemade sausage patties, and a biscuit. The eggs and potatoes had no seasoning and were very dry. Even hot sauce and ketchup couldn't make it much better. The biscuit was pretty good. The sausage was amazing. It was moist, really well seasoned, and just the right amount of crispy on the outside. The sausage was my favorite part of the meal hands down. I got scrambled eggs for my baby and they were a little less dry and a reasonable price. read more

Perfect breakfast. Stopped in on Saturday morning to a pretty decent line. We were able to sit at the bar, so no wait there, and we didn't mind that option. They were really busy, but the bartenders were attentive and friendly, and happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. Food arrived in a reasonable time for how busy they were, and everything was exactly as I'd dreamed it would be. I had the bananas foster waffle with eggs and bacon, and a decaf mocha. Went here two days while visiting Nashville last week. Even though there was a long wait the first time, I like that you could leave your cell phone number and they would text you when your table was ready. The second time I went, I sat at the bar and Becca was so phenomenal and kind and helpful. We parked at the parking garage adjacent to the building and from the time we armed till we left it was an hour and a half. I am not really into writing reviews... in fact this is the first one I've ever written, simply because of my busy schedule. BUT... my wife and I were in Nashville for 8 nights recently, and this restaurant was very close to our accommodations, so we tried it. All I can say is that we loved it so much... the menu, the cleanliness, and the service... that we had breakfast there almost daily. EVERY meal we had was incredible. We are from California, and we rarely see a menu where each and everything we try is a delight, but this restaurant provided satisfaction each and every meal. We tried something different every day, and always loved it. And a special thank you to some of the servers that we had the pleasure of getting to know: Stuart, Jo and Corey!!!
