This was a must try for breakfast after seeing the reviews and it did not disappoint! Fantastic and friendly service and the food was outstanding!! I delighted on the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It was amazing! My husband had the Bourbon Street Pancakes which he really liked. Each meal also came with eggs and bacon. We were also treated to some yummy Beignets! Came here during COVID in late September and just spotted the place while we were walking by the night before. We got there rather late in their day since it closes at 2:00 so the pictures I have uploaded will be baron or devoid of people but prior to thing the pics it was comfortable crowded and we had to wait for 20 minutes for our 4-top table. It has been a long while that I have been to a breakfast place where I really had a hard time selecting what I wanted from 3 or 4 options. After picking one of the options one of my other party members got my second place choice and I must admit I would have been equally pleased by either choice The have 2-single occupant restrooms and the"waiting line" is not obvious so be prepared to speak up if someone inadvertently cuts the line ... The seating options are all good and the booths (which I am never a fan of) provide plenty of space and the seat cushions didn't sink so much that I felt the table was at my chin level...I'm NOT a tall guy so it's often a perceived issue for me... The wait staff, bartender, and host were all very gracious and very friendly. I would gladly go back save for my desire to always try new places.....it's a double edged sword and a burden I carry... read more

I've yet to eat at the Brentwood location because of the wait for a table AFTER "getting in line" online. This has happened twice. I booked us at 10:45 AM on 3/2 on the pretense of a 15-25 minute wait. I arrive 15 minutes later to be told I'm "down the list." The male hostess wouldn't look at us and the female hostess got aggressive and hostile when I asked how long the wait would be. We left. At 11:45 I got a text saying my table was ready. If they can't run a hostess stand, I am not eating their food. read more

The food is great, and totally worth the price. We were honestly too hungry to remember photos, but it was enough for us to get full and still have leftovers. It didn't take long to get our orders, and the server was great about checking on our table. The inside is well decorated and made us feel at ease. Also, they are serious about the wait times. My mother and I spent the night in Nashville, TN while traveling from Austin, TX to Richmond, KY for my cousin's wedding this past fall. As someone with Celiac's, I was excited to see what the city would offer in the way of GF dining options and I was not disappointed. After looking over all options near to our hotel, I decided that Another Broken Egg Cafe was our best bet for a delicious and Celiac-safe breakfast. Holy cow! I was NOT disappointed! First of all, I was very pleased with the speed and quality of service. Even though it was a crowded day, we were promptly seated on the covered outdoor patio. It was a beautiful day, and we were asked our seating preference before being seated, so we very much enjoyed being able to soak in the (indirect) morning rays. The second point I would like the mention is the server who assisted us. She was so incredibly friendly and offered fabulous suggestions when we were selecting our menu options. I informed her that I had celiac's and she was so understanding of my wanting reassurance that the food was safe - it was, but I've been burned before so this made me feel very confident in our decision to eat here! Finally... THE FOOD. There haven't been many safe breakfast/brunch items for me that have made my mouth water and my heart beat a little faster, but this meal definitely made me happy beyond measure. Absolutely incredible and delicious! My only regret is that they haven't opened a location in Austin yet! I guarantee that if they do, I will be the first to visit!! If there was a 4.75 stars I'd give it to this restaurant. The food was PHENOMENAL! Our group had a little bit of everything; French toast, Eggs Benne, Beignets, Bloody Mary's, and Mimosas. It's a busy place! From talking to another patron they are that busy from open to close most days. We sat at the bar, so only had about a two minute wait (I feel like we lucked out for sure!) The bartender was a little gruff at first, (hence the 4.75s) , but the longer we sat there I think she was just really busy and extremely efficient, I'd sit at her bar anytime! Wait time was long but not a factor in this rating. 4 adults and we ordered chicken and waffles, eggs and bacon plate with toast, eggs Benedict and biscuits with gravy and sides of bacon and sausage. Chicken and waffles looked like a waffle with 3 chicken nuggets. The chicken was so little. Waiter brought more chicken but as my friend was eating his waffle he cut into it and there was a piece of plastic he pulled out of the waffle. The plastic cooked with the waffle batter. I graciously gave this place one star because it was the minimum required to even leave a review. We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict (which came on a bagel? with no hollandaise sauce...) I ordered the chicken and waffles... which is pretty hard to mess up... BUT here we are. The chicken was dry and sad. The syrup that it comes with doesn't even taste like food, it tastes like glue. My daughter had the strawberry pound cake French toast and I the creole Benedict. The French toast was surprisingly light and plentiful. My daughter didn't speak bc she was busy eating and I don't blame her. The Benny was so good perfectly poached egg on top of a crab cake that was probably one of the best I've ever had. We got to the restaurant around 11:30PM and were seated immediately upon arriving. If you have a larger party on the weekend I would recommend coming in early because the restaurant did fill up after an hour or so. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and it was one of the best breakfast items I've ever had, so good!!! If you are a sweet breakfast type of person this meal is for you! It came loaded with the cinnamon roll topping along with a mix of berries. Came here in the midst of the virus heightened awareness environment. All things considered we only waited about ten minutes to get seated for a table of 2 on a Wednesday morning. Our waiter was friendly, efficient, and our food came out quickly as well. While we waited for the grub, the coffee was delicious, and they were quick to top us off as needed. The highlights of the meal: peach cobbler pancakes-- I've never had peaches in my pancakes but these were delicious, I don't think the peaches were fresh, but the dish itself was fantastic. The sausage that came with the pancakes was extremely hearty, and I've never had sausage like it--It was really enjoyable.
