There was someone playing live music at certain times of the day. The room was clean and had a simple but nice setup. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. We had an ocean view room which was worth the extra cost. Waking up to the beach every morning was so satisfying. Reading on the balcony while listening to the ocean sounds and watching the waves was everything that I needed. The hotel has beach towels that are easily checked out through a machine. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available first come first serve to hotel guests which is very convenient. There was a heated outdoor pool, a volleyball net and a few games inside. We ate all of our meals at the hotel. We ate at the grab and go food spot. I ordered the feta and spinach croissant, a chocolate chip scone and a cappuccino. We also ate dinner at the latitude 30. I ordered a ceasar salad and calamari. For breakfast at latitude 30, I ordered the French toast dish that comes bacon and I ordered a side of eggs. We also ate at the fine dining restaurant onsite where I ordered the seared scallops dish and the vanilla crème brûlée. All of the meals that we ate at the hotel were very tasty. The restaurant staff were all kind and the utensils were spotless. I believe food may have also been served at the bar near the pool, but I didn't try any food from there during my visit. I really had an enjoyable time at this hotel and I plan to return in the future.

The fish and potatoes had a nice flavor but unfortunately the cold food spoiled the experience. Since I was a guest of my sister I didn't say anything about the cold food. What a disappointment. We ordered crab claws as an appetizer and they were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Surf-n-Surf and I ordered the Bronzed Grouper. Haley checked in with us often, and after some time she realized we hadn't received our dinner. She went to check on it, and there was a technical issue with their handheld and it hadn't gotten rung in. My husband and I weren't upset because we understand how it is in the restaurant industry, and sometimes technology fails. We didn't ask for a manager, but one came out and spoke to us and apologized, which we appreciated. We received dinner shortly after that, and it was some of the best seafood we've ever had. We ordered the creole cheesecake and chocolate cake to take home with us, and they were both phenomenal as well. When it came time to pay, my husbands card wasn't working properly, so he went to grab mine from the car. Haley was patient with us the entire time. It truly was a magical night we were able to share together and we can't thank Cobalt enough for helping us achieve that.

We had an amazing breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Orange Beach! From the moment we walked in, everything was excellent. Our server, Tristan, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and really made the experience even better. The drinks were all fantastic. The coffee was fresh and flavorful, the hot chocolate was rich and delicious, and the orange juice tasted fresh and was the perfect way to start the morning. One thing I really appreciated was their gluten-free menu. It's great to see a restaurant offering so many options for people with dietary restrictions. The gluten-free pancakes were surprisingly fluffy, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best gluten-free pancakes I've ever had. The chicken and waffles were absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. It was easily one of the best things we ordered and one of the best chicken dishes I've had at a breakfast restaurant. The restaurant was clean, had a welcoming atmosphere, and the food came out quickly even though it was busy. Every part of the meal exceeded our expectations. Zero stars for this place. The food was either burnt or cold, my mimosa tasted watered down and it seemed like the staff couldn't get along. I could hear yelling from the kitchen. I asked to see the manager but she never came by. There was also a lot of discussion of drugs between the staff. There was one person, she wore a bright green shirt and a hat, she was trying to advertise her "side business".
