Biscuit Beignets These are a must so order them

I had been wanting to eat here for awhile and I finally made it on a Monday morning after a doctor's appointment. There was no wait, so I grabbed a sit at the bar. The service was great and the food was even better. I definitely have to go back with the family.

There's no steak and eggs. I was upset about it as I saw another review with it but it's alright they made up for it in the quality of food and service. I am hopeful they add it later on though. I ate everything on my plate for my eggs Benny and it was phenomenal. Grits had a great consistency and the egg spilled perfect when cut into it. Service was great, she was attentive and kind, we will be returning and making this our breakfast spot during the week

Service: Another broken Egg cafe is a must. This was my first time dinning at this restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted. Our server was Stacy and she was very nice and attentive. For being our first time we were given beignets and a mason jar. I ordered the gravy biscuit with with eggs. Which was very good. For my drink I ordered the caramel latte. On the menu, I saw that they serve mimosas. Overall the experience was great I would recommend this place for brunch.

This was my first - and last - time going to Another Broken Egg. I was meeting a friend for breakfast and she suggested this place. I expected it to be good, as there are often lines to get in on the weekend. It was absolutely one of the worst places I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of places! When we sat down, I mentioned to the waitress that I'd never been, and she said I'd be getting free beignets, either before or after our meal. How nice! Then she disappeared ... for a long time. My friend was finally able to flag her down. We placed our order and waited, and waited, and waited. The waitress stopped by to ask my friend how her coffee was, as that was the only thing that had been served, and also apologized for the wait, saying the kitchen got hit with tickets all at once. Well, if she had taken our order in a timely fashion, that wouldn't have happened, and it was very strange because the place was only about half full. Anyway, the food arrived ... well, most of it, anyway. Her pancakes weren't delivered, so they went to get those. Then we had to wait for mayo for my BLT&A, which by the way, had no A (avocado) on it and the lettuce was brown and wilted. We also had to wait for syrup for the pancakes and dressing for my side salad. However, I probably could have done without the salad dressing because the lettuce in the salad was so wilted and slimy that it was inedible. I don't know why the service was so bad and why the food was even worse. I certainly don't know how the kitchen can omit an ingredient from a half-sandwich or even serve lettuce that is obviously too old to eat. And were the beignets good, at least? I don't know - I never got them!

I wanted to have a nice brunch Sunday with my amazing friend and my family. I reserved ahead of time and I only had to wait like 5 mins. Our sever was Stacy and she was super sweet and welcoming. She knew the menu very well and gave me great suggestions for what to eat. Because it was our first time in this restaurant the server gifted us free beignets and a free mason cup. As for a coffee I had the caramel cold bro with an extra caramel drizzle and it was delicious. For my entree I had the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and it tasted good. I really enjoyed my meal and I found everyone working in this restaurant super sweet. My friend even lost left her lipstick on the table and the server made sure to put it in the front so we can retrieve it quickly. The parking is free and near the restaurant. I definitely would come back to this beautiful environment.

The service from Stacy is excellent, a wonderful way to start your day with her friendly welcoming smile. Had the traditional eggs Benedict yesterday, eggs done correctly and delicious ham. Had to come back today and now having supreme omelet, delicious. Jojo is another excellent server with the same welcoming smile that makes this rainy day so much better. Thank You.

While running errands we decided to stop in for a bite. We were seated pretty quickly and server arrived shortly after. The server was great, very attentive and but not smothering.It was my first time there and because of that they gave us free beignets which were delicious. I ordered the traditional day starter. The breakfast was ok..while I loved the andouille sausage and grits, everything thing else was mid. I would probably give this place another try, but I'm not in any rush.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is exactly that, another one. This location is at the plaza on the corner of Hiatus Rd & Pines Blvd in a busy plaza. Parking is not a problem with a good amount of spots both in front and around the plaza. Came here on a Monday morning, which was a holiday so it was still pretty busy, and didn't have trouble getting a table for 6. I arrived first so I tried to reserve a table and the staff helped reserve one but told me to wait to be seated until my whole party was there. When my friend came with his baby, we were able to be seated and found fit cozy in the table. Our server seemed rushed to help us and came to check in periodically. When it finally came to order, I let her know that I was ordering to go and if my order could come out faster (if possible) and to bring me my check when she could. When the food came out, my food actually came out last (out of all six of our orders) and I had to remind her that I had a to go order. She wasn't extremely helpful and it was hard since I was on a time crunch. Regardless of this, the food was still really good and my friends seemed to enjoy the rest of their brunch.

Lots of times it's the server who tips the scales. In this case, Will tipped over the whole contraption in the right direction. This is a hometown southern style restaurant that specializes in New Orleans cuisine. Will was pulled in all directions and managed to make me laugh with his sweet disposition. The food fit the bill and you could tell it's worth a try due to the high volume of regulars. There are brownie points, or should I say boozy points for serving alcoholic drinks! I'll be back to sit at the bar and indulge in some of the most unique cocktails that I have seen.

I've been to so many another broken egg location. This one is by far the worst. Terrible service the manager was so rude to my family and I. The hostess told us a wait of 25-30 mins. We waited for 50 mins and finally then complained. They sat 3 groups that came after we did, that did not have reservations. I understand being understaffed but the team was rude and so was the manager. They did not even apologize. We sat down and it took almost 20 mins for the server to get to us and even then he was not able to take our order. Do not go to this location. read more

So this make the second time I visit this restaurant & I truly have to say the ambience is good. The only thing I feel they should start expanding the restaurant so the wait time won't be over 30mins and more. Great host & server. They were friendly & cater to our needs. Food was good. I kept it simple this time with chicken & waffle. The glaze spice syrup was amazing overall. Taste like a few different flavor in my mouth which made it didn't seem as plain as it look. Mimosas was good each flavor, however I'll just stick with the basic kind, orange.. overall I'll give this restaurant a 4 base off two day visit. read more

Huevos Rancheros: the chips were amazing but everything else was mediocre. Home fried potatoes: really dry, didn't even finish it. (Really brought the rating down) Blackberry French toast: the mango whip was really good but the French toast itself needed some work. There's a hefty wait at 10 am on a Sunday, and adding ourselves to the list online might not have made much of a difference in our wait time. But once we were seated, our waitress promptly arrived and took our drink order. We probably should have ordered our food then, too, as the kitchen seemed a bit backed up. The coffee was delicious ( I had the dark roast, he had the medium), and the beignet biscuits were something special. Chicken and waffles were delicious: four nicely crispy tenders and a perfect Belgian waffle, served with a side of a spicy syrup. Husband had hash brown Benedict with grits on the side. His eggs were the nicest poached eggs I've ever seen. He said it was all good. There are a couple of other things on the menu that I'd like to try. Maybe on a week day, when it's not so busy. read more

Why did I wait so long?? This was an amazing experience. Checked in at home and got on the wait list so only waited a few minutes after we checked in with host. Everyone who works here seems to be happy and makes you feel like you come to their home. The menu is extraordinary, New Orleans comes to Pembroke Pines. Hands down the best breakfast I have had in years. Some of the best restaurants I have ever eat at are in New Orleans and this restaurant is in line with the flavors and amazing options. I had the Mardi Gras Omelet and he had the Sunrise Shrimp Omelet. The grits are out of this world. We loved our server Rosa, she made us feel like we were home, never rushed, warm, friendly and professional. We will be back no doubt!! read more

I've been to Another Broken Egg multiple times but this is my first time writing a review on yelp. There are some pros but a lot of cons with this location. First things first was the wait times. We decided to do the early check in, it said it would take 30-45 mins until we are seen. So when I arrived to the restaurant, my wife and I checked in with the hostess and was told it would be another 40-55mins to be seated. I almost told them never mind but my wife really wanted the beignets. Finally after waiting 50 minutes. We were seated and had to wait another 15 minutes until the waiter came. He was nice and kept apologizing, which I understand that he was busy but c'mon. After we've received our drinks and coffee we waited another 20 before we could put our food order in and another HOUR for the food to come. Which wasn't even that good. I don't think I'll come back again. Hopefully they can figure out a better solution with the space and reservations. read more

First time checking in. First experience annnnd it was pretty good; thumbs up. My mom and i took advantage that it was 9am on a Monday. We were sat quickly with the menus and our silverware (very important when one is hangry). We were quick to order, we ordered a traditional breakfast and French toast. The traditional breakfast was exactly what i wanted. High five on those potatoes, super flame. The biscuit was really good (English muffin, white toast & wheat toast also available), a variety of jellies on the table. The bacon was crispy and yummy too. As for the French Toast, super good meal portion. Three slices of bread cut in half AND eggs w/ a meat (my mom chose bacon). Overall I'd go again for sure. Breakfast was amazing. Quick and delicious! This is my go-to brunch place in the area and everyone I've taken here seemed to have enjoyed every sip and every bite! The first time I've been here, I tried their boozy Nutella iced latte with the bacon and beignet -- a definite must-try! (It's also a great way to try their yummy beignets without having to order the whole batch) I also like their mimosas, though it can be on the pricy end. My favorite item they've had was a seasonal menu item (PRO TIP: snag a seasonal item because it's offered only for a limited time!): coffee pancakes! And I miss it so much haha. It was available during the fall so I hope I can have it again once autumn hits. I love their pancake flight (yes, if you can decide which pancake to get, just get the flight and you choose up to three flavors!) and their lobster & brie omelette. My go-to side is the city grits and their breakfast sausage. Come with an empty stomach because portions are huge and I always come out full hehe. Make reservations if possible because it is SUPER BUSY on the weekends! read more

This place is consistently missing the mark for me. I've gotten take out 3 times, the last two times my order was incorrect. The second time I went to pick it up and they gave my order to someone else so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for them to re make it. I also got added bacon which they didn't add - thankfully they did issue me a refund. Third time was delivery and I got the chilaquiles but just got salsa with no totopos. Attached pics. All three times I've gotten hard boiled eggs (basically) in the eggs Benedict either I or my fiancé ordered. Maybe they're understaffed? Seems like there's a lot of potential for the food to be good in the restaurant but I wouldn't recommend takeout. read more

Another broken egg or another broken WiFi?? Cuz if you're going to make us wait at least provide us with WiFi. Literally worst customer service ever, the person talking to us felt uneasy over nothing to answer any of my cousins questions. He told us that the wait was going to be 45 mins... and we were cool with that. So we asked for the WiFi and it kept telling us incorrect password.. so he was like it's prob slow because we use it in here too... but it can't be slow if we're not even connected???... Anyways. The wait to get our table was not 45 mins.. it was like 15-20.. but the wait to get our food was around that time... by the time we sat, there was no wait. So I don't understand why food took forever to come. Just saying, felt like I was at a hospital cuz the waiting game is crazy. You don't wanna go here if you're hungry and wanna waste your day. On top of that, the chairs we sat on. Slippery (excuse me) like if I didn't see my cousin sit on it first I would have fell and it would not have been funny. Also, when food came out it wasn't even hot. Didn't feel the freshness. Even if it were hot, the chicken waffles are a bad deal. The chicken tastes like the cafeteria chicken in high school. But I'm starting to think it was better in high school. I've been here before, had a great experience but this was the experience I'm basing my review on. I really wish NY had good chain restaurants especially ones that specialize in brunch. Often enough, my experience with Brunch in NY is overpriced for subpar food. Brunch is all about the party when it should include food and decadency along with the party scene. Another Broken egg cafe is just Brunch and not the brunch scene that I'm use to in NY. Its literally opened from breakfast to when about lunch time ends. Other patrons state that on some days the line is outside the door to get in. I really appreciated the waitlist feature on yelp and I was able yo add myself to the list when i arrived. The food was good. I really enjoyed the lobster brie omelet. I inhaled the omelette. i wished i had more lobster in it though! I order the grits which were meh. These were city grits and was missing something in the seasoning if the grits. The pancakes which were half a meh weren't fluffy and didn't taste fresh to me. I would return here though to try other entrees on the menu, as I see this spot being a local's old faithful! Let us not forget that in true Brunch fashion there were alcoholic beverages which included your normal brunch items as well as spiked coffee variations. Customer service is great and gets 6 out of 5 in my opinion at this location. In total my bill was about 35 bucks and included grits, omelette, side bacon, a 2 pancake stack (peach cobbler esque) and a spiked cocktail! Like where they do that at! read more

This place is a great go-to for a Louisiana style Sunday brunch. The food here is consistently good and their take on beignets is really tasty. My husband's fave is the shrimp & grits. The biscuits n' gravy is another delicious option. Definitely get on the waitlist early or the wait can easily be 60+ minutes. read more

The menu is so fresh and unlike any regular breakfast place I've seen. First watch has something similar but this one takes the cake. Just a wow experience. The staff are attentive & food delicious. My only feedback to management would be to work on their coffee, missed the wow factor, however the coffee mugs made up for it. Over will come back. We've been coming to another broken egg for years and have never had an experience like this before... We had checked in ahead of arriving to the restaurant as we know it gets packed. When we arrived we were told it was going to be a 15 minute wait, we were then told it was going to be 30 minutes, and after waiting for 45 minutes we were rudely told by the hostess Natalie that there was 11 parties ahead of us and that it was out of her hands. My party was then discussing whether we wanted to go somewhere else because of this and before we even came to a decision Natalie abrasively told us "to have a great day", insinuating that we leave. We also got a few drinks including the spicy watermelon margarita, which my dad enjoyed, and I got a refresher N/A drink, the cranberry mule. This refresher was just okay and didn't have much of the cranberry flavor as I was hoping. Overall, a great dining experience. Been going to China Pavilion for years and it's my go spot for authentic Chinese food and dim sum…read morethat always hits the spot. You know it's authentic and good when it's always packed and you walk in seeing many 10 top round tables with the iconic lazy susans and a wall of fish tanks by the front entrance! We had a group of 12 for dim sum and we were accommodated fairly quickly. Dim sum was fresh and quickly served and reasonably priced. The baked roasted pork buns are a must but order early as they do tend to sell out and then you'll miss out! They also have an amazing menu with authentic Chinese dishes to choose from. On another visit I had their ginger scallion lobster and the mince pork with green beans, as it's an iconic staple dish to have when dining in. Looking for great Chinese food in the area, here's your spot!

Here's what we ordered: - Aaloo Tikki: Far too tangy, and we couldn't taste the green chutney at all. - Kurkuri Bhindi: The only dish we truly loved--perfectly cooked and flavorful. - Dal Tadka: Just okay. The one we had the previous night at Taj Indian Grill was significantly better. - Paneer Masala: Lacked flavor and tasted like tomato purée mixed with cream. The same dish at Taj Indian Grill was outstanding. My cousin ordered a chicken dish. When the server asked our preference between thigh and breast meat, my cousin asked for thigh meat. However, we were served breast meat. The worst part, unfortunately, was the dessert. We ordered the Malai Kulfi, which was taken straight from the freezer and served without clearing our plates. The kulfi itself was extremely disappointing--one of the worst I've had. I'm from North India, and I've had great kulfi over the years, but this one was so dense it needed a knife to cut, with a powdery taste none of us liked. When we mentioned it to our server, instead of simply apologizing, he responded arrogantly, insisting their kulfi is featured on a show and is a "signature dish." A good restaurant knows how to accept feedback rather than try to prove customers wrong, and this interaction rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, I'd rather drive the extra five minutes to Taj Indian Grill, where the food and service were far better.

I'm wondering if the creator(s) are from northeast China: the fillings, especially the dumplings, are very solid, and the wontons are chubby. An Asian woman is making the dumplings behind the glass window. The small logo on their black plastic tableware is thoughtful and appreciated.

Saturday Brunch Family Outing We recently visited Another Broken Egg in Pembroke Pines for a family brunch, and it was a delightful experience overall. My daughter had the Kids' French Toast Sampler, which comes with one thick-sliced French toast topped with powdered sugar, scrambled eggs, and baked bacon. She substituted the bacon for chicken maple sausage and the scrambled eggs for egg whites. She enjoyed her meal immensely, especially the chicken maple sausage. I opted for the Chicken and Waffles. The waffles were perfectly nice and fluffy, exactly how I like them. The chicken, however, was a bit of a letdown. It was bland and under-seasoned on its own, but it tasted much better with the house-made chipotle honey sauce drizzled on top. The sauce added the perfect kick of flavor that the chicken needed. My boyfriend ordered the Apple Fritter French Toast. It was French-toast style fritters layered with fried apples, a bourbon cream sauce, and topped with fresh blueberries and powdered sugar. He said it was pretty good and enjoyed the combination of flavors and textures. I tried the Strawberry St. Germain, which was a nice twist on the traditional mimosa. It had a hint of sweetness that was just right and made the drink refreshing and delightful. Overall, we had a great time as a family at Another Broken Egg. It pains me to say that the once enjoyable dining experience has been overshadowed by a myriad of issues, indicating a significant loss of management control. During my visit, it became abundantly clear that the staff is unorganized and the operational software is constantly plagued with problems. This not only affects the efficiency of the service but also reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Moreover, the demeanor of the staff was far from welcoming, suggesting a toxic work environment that undoubtedly influences the overall customer experience. My wait for a table stretched to an unbearable hour and a half, far more than the 30 minutes I was originally told, during which I witnessed numerous disgruntled customers encountering problems with their pick-up orders. I have been meaning to leave this review for a while now. This place is absolutely amazing and there is nothing like it in Pembroke Pines area! Trust me, I am a hard person to impress when it comes to breakfast ( I feel like I can recreate most classic breakfast dishes at home ), however, this place is one of a kind. The breakfast dishes served at this lovely establishment are not the ones a one person can recreate at home, therefore, having breakfast there is a true treat. My hubby and I have two little kids, so going out for breakfast during the week is our thing since the kiddos are at school. Breakfast is our date night. Summer was our server. Summer, if you are reading this, you are AWESOME )) you are helpful, informative and always know what your customer needs. The crowd is diverse, the dishes are unique and you don't have to ask your server to refill your cute coffee mug. As for the dishes, try City grits and Stan's Mardi Gras Omelet. I've always wanted to try this place since the line is always out the door. We were able to put our name on the reservation list thanks to Yelp! We had to wait maybe 5 mins for a table from the time we checked in. Ordered the passion fruit sangria and a strawberry lemonade sparkler which were supposed to have alcohol in it but tasted like straight juice . Very sweet and disappointing ! For our entrees we ordered off their seasonal menu. Everything came to the table cold . First off The flan stuffed French toast had a nasty burnt taste to the cream . The Carribbean skillet was greasy and gave me a stomach ache by the end of the meal. My kids grilled cheese was horrible . How could you mess up grilled cheese ???? The waiter disappeared by the end of the meal leaving us waiting 10 minutes until we could flag down Another waitress . Website brags of this establishment being "pet Friendly" then they deny service to a friend because of her service dog which is CLEARLY wearing a service dog harness. She was told to sit outside in the patio area (where evidently that's where they are pet Friendly) when she advised them it was too hot (96°) they told her she could leave. #1 this is a direct violation of disabled rights with a service animal. Establishments need to educate staff on the LAWS AND RIGHTS OF THE DISABLED before denying them service. Not only is it against the law but it's just bad business. Now they have a whole crowd of folks that refuse to spend their money here as well as a possible law suit. Shame on you Broken Egg. SHAME ON YOU! read more

Man what can I say !!! Tremendous breakfast spot in Pembroke Pines ! I was wow from the minute we were greeted at the door by an associate of the restaurant. To the service given throughout our time in the restaurant and last but not least the food was amazing !!! The cinnamon roll French toast was to die for !! To top it off we received complimentary Beignets for it being our first time visiting.... and I must say the Beignets were close to the ones I've had in New Orleans. Overall a must visit if your in the area and looking for some breakfast nourishment. Family friendly and great food. We were seated quickly and got a spacious booth, which was nice. Our server was new and made a couple of small mistakes, but that wasn't a big deal. The bigger concern was that the beverages had a strange, soapy taste, and even the potatoes had the same issue, which raises questions about food safety -- maybe things aren't being rinsed properly or there's some cross-contamination in the kitchen. Had a perfect family brunch here! I used the wait app so we were seated really fast once we arrived. Although we also came later in the afternoon. Zamary was our server and she knows her stuff (thank you Zamary for the kindness and great service)! I never had cream cheese or crab on my eggs before but I'm glad I tried it- The Floridian was delish! The potatoes were a little over cooked but I was so full, I couldn't finish anyway. They are the worst. No matter how good their food is, not worth waiting 2 hours to get a table. What's worst is that even if you join the waitlist, when you get there you still have to wait 30-45 minutes EVEN if you are first in line. The people they have working at the front are the rudest and unorganized bunch of people. They stand around with iPads but can't figure out the proper order of seating people. This place is unique in that if you don't reserve a table be prepared to wait a while. On another note the food is always good and the portions are big and I have tried many dishes there since I live close by. It's a little more on the pricey side but you do get the extra you pay for. The staff are really nice and the place isn't very big. They've got a great range of options for all types of eaters. I ordered something simple -- the skinny omelet -- expecting a light, no-hassle meal. Instead, it came filled with whole garlic cloves, which was completely overwhelming and definitely not expected in a "skinny" dish. The grits were lumpy and underwhelming. The food here was good, I have come here multiple times to Another Broken Egg Cafe for brunch and breakfast. Mimosas and coffee are always pretty solid. I like getting the beignets and eggs benedict and it reminds me of some home cookin' cafes back in Georgia. We arrived as walk-ins and were advised the wait would be 30-45 min. After an hour we checked and were told we had 3 people ahead of us. After another 15 min I checked the app and we were 14th on the line. I understand the convenience of placing yourself in line but at that rate we weren't going to eat by the time it closed.
