There is nothing worse than having a rude host that has an attitude and does not know how to do her job. Terrible service, one star is a lot. Try being nice next time, and if you don't want to work, just ask for the day off. I ended up leaving after how rude everyone was at this location. Food was amazing the host was going back and forth between the tables checking in on everyone that he had seated the waiter was attentive not bunched up like first watch. The food was amazing. I did the black stone eggs Benedict and it was done correctly. My wife had the shrimp and grits. Absolute perfection. We also did the order of the 1/2 beignet. The orange/honey marmalade brought it together. The restaurant was not packed when we got there around 8:45am. But we did do the online check in to get on the waitlist just in case and we would recommend that. Again amazing food and service. Our first experience at Another Broken Egg was fantastic. We had passed by the shopping plaza where they are located several times, had even eaten at the Pincho Factory next door, and noticed they were always busy. This prompted us to make a reservation using the No wait App. and in my opinion that made all the difference. When we made the reservation the app said there were 34 parties ahead of us. We took our time at home and when the wait was down to around 18 decided to start driving to the location. Finding parking in the plaza is a mission impossible adventure, but I have a particular set of skill acquired in a lifetime of parking, if there's a spot available, I'll will hunt it, I will find it, and I'll park in it. So we ended up parking right in front of the place. When we entered, the place is clean and nicely decorated. It feels warm and welcoming. The staff always interacted with a smile on the face. Service is above excellent. The food was amazing. I had a "Carnitas Benedict" which was amazing and my friend had a "Lobster and Brie Omelet" which was to die for. The baby in turn had a chocolate chip breakfast meal. The wait for the food wasn't long. The food was hot and fresh, and delicious. One of the things that stood out is the fact that they have a bar and TVs showing the games (perfect for a Saturday). If there's an opening at the bar you can eat and drink there and avoid the wait. Came here randomly on a Saturday around 10am. It was very busy so I opted to sit at the bar. Ordered the traditional day starter (two scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes). They initially brought me some kind of sausage patty instead of bacon but was quick to correct my order. To drink I had orange juice. I looked online and proceeded to ask about the pitcher of Bloody Marys only to be advised there are none sold by the pitcher. We ordered the spicy Mary and it's excellent. When ordering my Mardi Gras omelette, I requested no sausage (andouille) as I don't eat meat. Our server, "Dee" was great but needless to say, my omelette had meat. It was not his fault. Love this spot for breakfast. Especially since I can spice up my morning with a nice breakfast cocktail with my girls. Food and service is good. Gets really busy but not many places serve alcohol in the morning so, it's worth the wait. There seafood options with breakfast is the best so far locally. The one thing I would suggest they improve on is the beignets. Most time they are over cooked so they are hard and buried in powdered sugar which is a no no. I had my first visit to this location on a Friday morning around 8 AM. As soon as we walked in the door, we immediately noticed that it was freezing in the restaurant. My mom and I had to literally wrap ourselves in napkins to keep warm until our coffee arrived. Other than us shivering through the first 10 or 15 minutes, the rest of the experience was wonderful. My mom had the pumpkin waffle which was perfectly portioned and very good. I went with the skinny omelette, which I loved! It was on the lower calorie portion of their menu, but it did not lack flavor whatsoever. It was loaded with asparagus, roasted garlic cloves, goat cheese, scallions, roasted red peppers, and lots of herbs. If you are a garlic lover, this is the omelette for you! There were so many garlic cloves! The omelette was a hefty portion and also came with a side of fruit and an English muffin. I appreciated that it was a good variety of fruits versus the cheap, same old fruits many other restaurants try to serve you. It had plum slices, strawberries, grapes, and pineapple. I was stuffed, but in a healthy, fulfilled kinda way. The service was efficient and friendly, and we were in and out in less than an hour. What a horrible experience!! Yesterday my sisters and I decided to dine at this place, the host sitting us and was pleasant, our waiter Ian was nice as well, but something was definitely wrong in the kitchen. We ordered some drinks beignets, and our meals after about 45 minutes our food came out and this is where the experience began to turn horrible. Our food came out burnt, dry, and watery. ( we even asked for mayo in which we were told they don't have any. I ordered the BLT sandwich (dry and burnt bacon) , one of my sister ordered the southern chicken sandwich (dry and her bacon was burnt) , and my other sister ordered the Floridian omelette (watery). We ask Ian to take the food back and we would pay for the drinks and beignet that we have eaten,and we would also like to speak with manager. After about 10 minutes this guy that looks to be the chef came out and stated his was the manager. I believe his name was OMAR! He came to our table aggressive ask us did we at least try the food we all responded no the food was dry as hell. OMAR then proceeded to get more angry telling us we don't have to talk like that and we can leave. What I don't understand is if you're asking us why we didn't try the food and we are giving you a valid reason you shouldn't be upset. After continuing to get loud with us, and telling us to leave he proceeded to follow us out the door as if we were criminals. We frequently dine at this restaurant, but since the nasty horrible experience ANOTHER BROKEN EGG won't have to ever worry about us dining here or even recommending this restaurant to anyone. Okay, I absolutely loved this place!!! this was my second time here (first time was a few years ago and I don't remember much) and I really enjoyed it :)) I know this place is usually very busy for brunch but we went on a weekday so we got seated within 10 mins. It was my friends' first times so they got a complimentary mason jar and an order of beignets for the table. I think this is a new concept bc I don't remember this last time. I thought this was super nice and a good first impression on customers. The beignets were rlly good too. Our server was AN ANGEL!! she was just very sweet and funny and gave us some really great recommendations and stopped to chat with us a few times (I'm assuming she could bc they weren't too busy). I don't know where the chef (or whoever created this dish) got the idea for this dish but this in no way is huevos rancheros. This dish is more like breakfast nachos. First, what is suppose to be a crispy tortilla was instead pita chips. There was no sauce (which is typically a tomato sauce). The dish was so dry. It did have black beans that were fine and two eggs that were cooked well. I did add chorizo (I only use that word because they do) but it was more like ground beef. Did not taste at all like chorizo or look like chorizo. It's literally ground beef. This was probably the worse huevos rancheros I have ever had and I tend to get this dish when I see it in the menu. If you want breakfast nachos then try this but if you are looking for anything the resembles huevos rancheros go else where. read more

Love this place especially the Louisiana feel. I've been twice and both times I have had their pancakes and it has been fabulous. The raspberry pancakes were a special items a couple months back, and the berries pancake had them cooked right into it. Rare to say you really didn't need syrup for these pancakes. Mimosa fans will like the restaurant they have the classic with orange juice but they also change it up with an apple pie style mimosa among others. After the third attempt of committing ourselves to patiently getting through the wait time here to eat breakfast, we finally "broke" the habit of telling ourselves to "come back another time", and wait. Another Broken Egg Café seems to be one of the places that everyone talks about, if one can wait to get in, and I defiantly understand why. Our wait was quoted to be 30-45 minutes but actually was seated in about 20 minutes. During our wait, I walked around to see what this place was all about. The other option of waiting for a table is to sit at the next open spot at the bar, which was a pretty nice area of the restaurant and would not mind doing that at some point. We ordered a coffee there in their great home made clay Another Broken Egg mugs. The coffee is rarely mentioned in my reviews, but I LOVED their coffee which was rich and had a great flavor to it. The bar is located at the back of the restaurant and stocks liquors used to make some of their own fruit infused Mimosas, interesting assorted Bloody Mary's in mason jars, which you can keep, and "Brunch Cocktails" they call their own. For another time, I would love to try some of these. They look extremely refreshing. The atmosphere is really colorful and bright and gives you a great feeling right when you walk in. You can see the display of their colorful Coffee Mugs and Jars that they sell retail. Pretty pricey but are pretty nice and great to drink out of. What is the real reason Another Broken Egg is so popular? After looking at this extensive creative, interesting menu with lots of choices of Omelets, Scramblers what they call the "Sweet Temptations" which is their menu of incredible choices of flavored pancakes and waffles and "Brunch Specialties", I finally get it. How does one decide between Peach Cobbler, Banana Foster and Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes, not to mention their Lobster and Brie. Floridian and Veggie omelets, just to mention a VERY FEW choices. The answer here is to go to the Brunch Specialties to order some of both, the Omelets and any flavor pancake or half order of Beignets, for an extra 2.99 to get a taste of both. This is what we did. The Floridian Omelet was my choice. Cream cheese inside topped with Sautéed garlic butter crab meat and Monterrey Jack cheese, it was the Crab meat that made this. There was not just a little portion of sautéed crab meat on top, but a BIG PORTION of crab meat. Quite the creation and glad I tried this for the first time. Served on the side were their creamy grits and English muffin . The flavored pancake I chose was their Bananas Foster Pancake. One was enough, served with foster sauce, pecans and whip cream on top. My wife ordered the Crab Cake Benedict off their Brunch Specialties. I have seen this on a couple menus around Broward, but this was an incredible dish. Beautiful presentation served with the Béarnaise sauce on the side over large portion of crab cakes. Her pancake choice was the Lemom Blueberry Goat Cheese. Delicious. I would not do justice to this place if I did not mention the service. In addition to our waitress being so attentive and always there, others had even stopped by checking on us asking for coffee refills, water refills and really wanting to know if everything was ok. I did not even know what their roll was in the restaurant but they genuinely took care of us. I don't know how many times it is going to take to come here and try all the special dishes and drink recipes here but I certainly will come back and wait to try something different and maybe grab a seat at the bar. read more

My first time here and it was incredible! I was able to join the waitlist from the Yelp app which was incredibly helpful. Once I got to the restaurant, I waited about 5 mins before I was seated. The service from the very beginning was great. Our waitress was fantastic. She gave us great recommendations in which I ended up ordering one of them. I had the lobster and Brie omelette which was out of this world!!! So, so good! The lobster was cooked perfectly and went so well with the egg and Brie. Came here based on the reviews! I had high hopes, but I was disappointed. I ordered the Huevos rancheros and it just didn't hit the spot! The chips were pretty dry and too crispy. You could tell the chili's were out of the can and dumped on top. The beans had no flavor. This was not a well blended meal. It was just ingredients dumped on top of chips and nothing tasted flavorful. The potatoes were really good and had a good flavor! My boyfriend said his chicken and biscuit was good, but nothing to rave about! The service was pretty good and our waitress was attentive and pleasant! The mimosas are delicious and a must try if you go! The restaurant was super crowded so I recommend getting there early or eat at the bar for faster service. I'll definitely give this place another try. Maybe it was just a bad day because I heard the managers were in the kitchen which probably means a staff shortage.
