I've heard many good things about Another Broken Egg Cafe and had to visit myself! My friend and I met for breakfast and completely forgetting it was a Sunday, we opted to wait in the virtual line via Yelp. We were quoted a 20 minute wait, but ended up waiting about 40 minutes because it was Sunday and it's busy! Once you add your name to the virtual line and arrive at the restaurant, you check-in at the host stand. We were finally seated and looked over the menu. The server was nice and came over to go over some favorites but that was after waiting quite some time. I decided to order the strawberry poundcake french toast and my friend ordered the Supreme Omelette. The food arrived and we both noticed the portion sizes were quite small. The Supreme Omelette didn't look "supreme" as it was suppose to have 4 items in it and it just looked small and the strawberry poundcake french toast came with 4 small and thin slices of the pound cake with some strawberries and whipped cream. The service and food were just okay. I was disappointed with our experience after hearing so many positive things about this restaurant. Maybe I'll give it a try another time. read more

this place is filthy not one but three sets of silverware all came with dried up food on them. The managers are incompetent and act like this is just something that happens randomly. The tables were dirty when we went to be seated the floor was dirty, and employees was dropping things and not picking them up. This is the last time I ever will come to this establishment. The wait time was about 25 minutes. Very popular place, even on a Thursday. I guess that was because it has good menu items. Once we were seated it took a bit of time before we got our food, I guess it was because of how busy it was. I like that they had gluten free options, they even have a gluten free menu. I had the kids size gluten free pancakes with sausage and eggs which were very delicious. My husband had the chicken and waffles. The drinks were also pretty good. On a Saturday morning we felt like going out for breakfast. I joined the waitlist online before driving over, and when we arrived, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. We were seated at an indoor table & were immediately brought waters. The service was good, nothing amazing but nothing bad. The food was below average. They tasted good, but I just wish they were softer. Hash brown Benedict: 4/5, pretty good. The egg was not poached perfectly but it wasn't bad. The flavors overall were good. Would not recommend getting the side of grits, however. Side of 2 stack pancakes, chocolate chip: 3/5, overall good pancakes. Not amazing. Taste like bisquick & they were not fluffy. Just regular pancakes you could make at home Fresh country potatoes: 1/5, May have been the most disappointing thing I ate. They were so unflavored, it was worrisome. What is the point of a wait list if they don't honor it? Signed up this morning around 9:30 AM and the supposed wait time was 35-50 minutes. Showed up around 10 AM and we almost ended up waiting until 11 AM to even be sat inside. Insane. By the time we were sat inside, we were pretty hungry, and breakfast became more like lunch time. I had coffee, he had a Coke. For our main dishes, I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was an obscene portion. Way too big for this petite girl. I barely finished half of it. It was decent. Everything was cooked well, but I've had better. He ordered the huevos rancheros which honestly looked subpar. The tortilla was burnt and they were more like tortilla chips. He didn't finish it all and wound up ordering chocolate chip pancakes, which were sweet but tasty. A note on the chocolate chip pancakes though. Apparently the chocolate chip part is the cream in between the pancakes, not that the actual pancakes have chocolate chips embedded into them. A bit odd but okay. Overall, a decent chain, if a bit disorganized. Seems they can't handle the large crowds. That and the food is just average. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

The food was good I will give them that, we ordered takeout because we figured it would be extremely busy on a Sunday. After waiting 45 mins for the food to be ready I got home only to discover that a lot was missing. GF pancakes were supposed to come with scrambled eggs and bananas+strawberries (only came with bananas and we paid extra $2 for the strawberries). The eggs and potatoes never came with the order. I was expecting more from my visit to Another Broken egg, especially after having read the good reviews. I tried their grits and shrimp. The accompanying garlic bread, was without a hint of garlic. Also the grits promised to have cheese included and if it was, then I did not taste anything. I found the grits rather bland tbh. I tried their bourbon pancakes. This dish looked so pretty, however one of my pancakes was not cooked thoroughly through - leaving sticky uncooked batter. However, the saving grace was their delectable buttery sauce. Maybe I just did not get lucky. When I visited it was very busy, so...maybe I was unlucky. Such a shame.. read more

We tried to go to a different breakfast place that recently opened but the line was to the curb so we ended up here. We were told that the wait would be 30-40 min but it was actually only about 15 min or so. They have outdoor seating if you don't feel comfortable inside or if you want to try to get seated earlier. We chose inside. My husband ordered the Napoleon Temptation which had buttermilk pancake cut in half in the stack, French toast, Belgian waffle, cinnamon roll French toast with a brown sugar butter sauce sprinkled with powder sugar. If you're not sure which one you want, this is the best way to go because you have a sampling of all of them. My husband loved it so much he ate almost all of it which shocked me because he usually taps out about halfway through. I ordered the Bourbon Street Pancakes which had sliced bananas, pecans, rum butter sauce and whipped cream. I didn't realize that I also got 2 eggs and either bacon or sausage. There was a LOT of food! We also ordered a dozen Biscuit Beignets which we wanted to bring home to our daughter. We were so full but wanted to try one while they were fresh so we split one. Omg it was good! The only thing we were sad about was that they weren't as good the next day. While we were there, we noticed one of the waiters had a "It's my birthday" button pinned to his shirt with some bills sticking out and asked our waiter, Ian, about it. Apparently if you end up working on your birthday, you get to wear that pin which could get you some extra cash. We couldn't resist and gave the birthday boy some money on our way out. Tried this restaurant for the first during the week for breakfast and there was not wait. Summer was supper helpful and friendly. Very nice location with a homey vibe. The plates were big portions and nice presentation. My dad had the traditional breakfast with ham and added a side of bacon and French toast. He really enjoyed it and said that the ham tasted fresh and was tender. I had the huevos rancheros and they weren't bad but it lacked a bit of flavor. Not done the way that it usually gets done in other places. They have a good brunch menu with some brunch drink so I look forward to trying that out. We checked in online prior to arrival showed up and still waited forever just to not be placed at same table but two tables kind of side by side. Due to us having to wait for other large parties to finish in order to be seated. Because they only had a few large tables. Which clearly we still didn't get. But at that point the kids was hungry so we just sucked it up and took what was available. It's located in a parking lot with lots of businesses. The parking is free and plenty. The waitress was upset I didn't tip her what she felt she was worth. I gave her the tip she deserved for less than par service she provided. When confronted about what she said to the other waitress she tried to clear up what she said. A tip is not a must I just gave it to her but I didn't have to. Next the waitress. I would have given 5 stars if they actually accommodated my group of 7 at one table or just stated they couldn't. In order for us to had order somewhere else. My family had came from out of town and this was the last breakfast before the 5 of the 7 drove and flew back to South Carolina. And if it wasn't for the waitress poor service and unprofessionalism. I went here twice once on Friday with a group of 4 and then again on Sunday with the group of 7. I have no complaints with the first experience of different group and waitress. I took my lovely wife and mother-to-be, Jess, to Another Broken Egg on Mother's Day. We arrived around 8-8:10 AM and were seated fairly quickly, which was appreciated given the holiday crowd. However, it took quite a while before a server came to our table -- understandable to some extent due to the busyness, but still a little disappointing. What really soured the experience was the food service. I ordered something as simple as a BLT sandwich with Avocado and it was completely butchered. Even more frustrating was the wait time -- we saw several other tables, including larger parties, receive their food much quicker while we continued to sit and wait for nearly half an hour. My wife ordered the Belgian waffles, which she did enjoy, but overall, the experience just didn't live up to expectations. It was especially disappointing given it was a special occasion. We've been meaning to try this place but the wait is always so long. Finally made it and I can see why! From the start, I love a place that has outdoor seating and with our luck we sat outside. Weather was perfect. Started off with some coffee in these cute homemade mugs. We got a few items to share off the menu and the servings on each plate is more than enough to share. Safe to say we wobbled out of there! The shrimp and grits were delicious! So much flavor packed into one dish. The shrimp was not overcooked and that sauce was finger-licking good. The Hey Lucy omelette with chorizo, cheese and avocado was too good paired with homestyle potatoes and english muffin with butter and jam. You can substitute the sides with other options as well. Now you always need something sweet to end on a good note so the dish we were excited about the most ended up being what we liked the least. The banana bread french toast was not it. Had high hopes for it but in reality it lacked a lot. I think this might be a seasonal item so i'll try something else next time. No worries though because we washed this down with a lemon blueberry mimosa and a strawberry nectar one as well. Both Delicious Overall I still rate this place a 5/5. I will be back read more

Took my husband here for breakfast, he ordered the usual pancakes, bqcon & eggs, he really enjoyed it. I ordered eggs benedict with lox and potatoes. The benedict was decent (hollandaise sauce was cold so i didn't eat it.) The potatoes were also cold and overcooked so they took them back, but never brought me fresh potatoes. I mentioned it once the waiter brought the bill, he apologized and gave me fruit to go, but the fruit was mushy and looked terrible, lol. Arrive early (and by that I mean before 9am) or your chances are that you will be placed on the waiting list. I have had breakfast twice at this location and both times it was okay. Nothing over the top or anything worth waiting an hour for. The service was fast! Our waitress waited no time to get our drinks, food and check! Strawberry Berry filled pancakes w/ eggs, sausage, bacon and home style potatoes- he said it was ok definitely nothing to scream about the bacon was too hard, the eggs were stiff, the potatoes lacked major flavor and seasoning and the pancakes were filled with a berry filling that was just not good. It over powered the actual flavor of the pancake. I would have liked to at least order another mimosa but I felt so rushed by our waitress to leave that we just paid and left.
