Yesterday was my first time to come here. My husband and I had no idea the wait we would have. We got there around 11am and told there was about a 45 minute wait. I highly suggest using the Yelp app to get on the waitlist prior to coming to shorten your wait time. The host was very warm and inviting and gave us menus to look at while we waited. I am typically impatient and not one to wait, ever, but this was WORTH IT! After being seated we ordered cocktails and drinks which were brought to us quickly. My husband got the blood orange whiskey sour and a peach bellini and I got a orange mimosa. All drinks were delicious. The service was wonderful. Our waitress Maggie was attentive and friendly and despite them being super busy, she never missed a beat. We ordered a ton of things to try and they were ALL delicious. The bacon was the best I've ever had, the omelette was cooked to cheesy meaty seasoned perfection. The blackberry stuffed French toast was soft, fresh, creamy perfection. My husband raved about the sausage, eggs and potatoes. Everything here tastes so fresh. Nothing frozen or prepackaged. I never have any complaints about the service here! Our server Hannah has only been here a week and was polite, professional, friendly and tentative. She definitely adds to this location! The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because it is always soooo busy. Food options are great and they have gluten free pancakes and syrup! This place is always busy on Saturday mornings and for good reason, very yummy. I highly recommend adding your name to the waitlist on your drive to the restaurant. When we arrived we waited less than 5 minutes for our table. When you walk up and see everyone standing/sitting outside waiting for their table your can only smile that you aren't one of them I always get the biscuits and gravy. I'm not a huge sausage fan so I get it without eggs and sausage and they always offer a side of potatoes instead. They are very good!! My son always gets the kid's chocolate chip pancakes; it never fails that a mmmmmmm comes from after the first bite. The mimosas are ok, would be nice if they were a little sweeter but that doesn't warrant the removal of a star. Super disappointed. We have been coming here for years and slowly the food has gone down hill. Today was our last visit. They changed their eggs to powder eggs, which honestly tasted like farts! We ordered indulgence pancakes as a side with the traditional day starter breakfast for like $4.69 I believe and they brought 2 mini pancakes. Like baby sized! They used to give full sized pancakes! I ordered a mimosa the 11 oz which used to be brought in a mason jar, was given in a small glass this time. I mentioned the changes to our server where he said that with the eggs, now we have to ask for eggs that you crack open otherwise they do powder? And the pancakes he said they recently changed their size on those. I'm just baffled and honestly so disappointed. Prices have gone way up and the quality has gone way down. They have a menu with a broad range of items. Their seasonal items are always tasty. The quality of food here is very good and the staff is helpful. They get you a table in a timely manner and get your order out quickly. I've had experiences at other breakfast places in town where we didn't have utensils when we had our food, or the servers forgot to give you the check. That's not the case here. Not your run of the mill breakfast place. First off the place used to be a Blockbuster so the layout is a just little funky but the remodel is very tastefully done. Sadly there aren't many good breakfast places in the area at all, so this one blows everything else out of the water. They have unique omelettes with items like crab meat or lobster, several healthy options or guilty pleasures like cinnamon roll french toast. It's another story when you are with your wife. We both had a nice meal, but the breakfast sausage really stood out. It tasted great, though it's not something you would want to gorge on. It's a bit too salty for that. They had a decent house made cream gravy, and the eggs were perfect. If only the diced potatoes weren't frozen. I like fresh potatoes, but sometimes a restaurant goes for the quick and easy solution. My first time there and it was perfect! The atmosphere and decor immediately felt like a step above the others breakfast cafés in town. I ordered the Lobster & Brie omelet and my mother had the Bananas Foster Waffle. Mine was delightful! Beautiful presentation by friendly staff. The omelet and side English muffin were tasty, but I was particularly impressed with the hash browned potatoes. They really appealed to my slight OCD tendencies; uniformly, perfect squares, golden brown and crisp without overly crunchy and not soggy at all. Mom's waffle was almost too pretty to eat, but even I tried a bite. Fluffy goodness that definitely satisfies a sweet tooth, without going too far. We had a disappointing brunch here. We expected better from the reviews. We did come in late at 1:30pm for brunch (they close at 2pm), but that's no excuse for rock hard biscuits in my sausage and biscuits. When I told server, who went back to the chef, the chef's response to our friendly server was "did he check them". Yeah, I checked them - server saw that I couldn't hack through them with the knife, and when it did go through, the knife almost cracked the plate! Oh well, I finished the meal, as it was late and we were hungry, and I didn't want to wait for a re-do which wasn't offered anyway. We shall not be back. Wife had pancakes and friendly server forgot the syrup and was gone for a while. Son's cheddar omelette was mediocre. If you are looking for a place to have brunch, with a very tasty Bloody Mary, this is the place to go.

I waited a bit after dining here last to let the trip sink in. Honestly 3.5 stars really needs to be an option. Essentially your looking at breakfast items that have been elevated, or in many cases, more costly ingredients added. Service was fine, atmosphere very open and comfortable. We ordered the beignets, I the crab cakes cavallo eggs benedict and my wife the lobster and brie omelet. The beignets are not your traditional ones, and are more doughnut hole sized versus full size. This is a neat concept, however what ends up happening is you get a ball of cooked crust and very little doughy pillow-like goodness on the inside. They are tasty in their own right, but would prefer the be called something else (call me picky). My wife said the omelet ranked among some of the best shes had and my crab cakes cavallo, a very heavy breakfast entree, was tasty as well. Eggs cooked beautifully. If any nit pick, the food while always tasty, is very inconsistent in preparation and presentation. Mine did not look like that which others have posted.
