From seating, to service, to food quality it was fantastic. Anthony our server was amazing, on top of us to ensure we were attended too. The crab eggs Benedict was exactly what I needed. We really wanted to try the pancakes and Anthony was nice enough to split up the two cakes and they were each garnished beautifully with fruit, confectionery sugar and whipped cream. Just like the main dish the pancakes were fantastic. Great stop, if we are ever back in the area we will certain stop by again. read more

Drove by here a couple of weeks ago and the name caught my eye. Visited on a Friday around 10 AM, it was pretty full but to my surprise they had seating available immediately. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating. We sat indoors. I ordered the strawberry lemonade sparkler and it was really good. Worth the money. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict but substituted the ham for the house sausage. It was also really good. The side was country potatoes and surprisingly well seasoned and I didn't even have to add salt. You can add an order of Beignets to almost every plate so I did to share with my friend. They bring four small ones and a dipping sauce. I didn't try the sauce but the Beignets were warm and fresh. They were Yummy. Not the best I've ever hard but they are decent. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which I loved. The only thing was that it took a while to get our food. Long enough for me to have to ask. I would absolutely go back because everything was good. Check them out! read more

Yum yum and more yum!!! So the first time I came here was for my sisters bday breakfast and hands down it was so yummy everything. She had a cinnamon roll the size of my son's head, I had a waffle that was so delicioso. Oh and did I mention they have liquor? I got a strawberry champagne drink (can't remember the name) and it was like juice that i forgot i was drinking liquor at 10am lol. Everytime I have come here or did take out the food has always been so good and so have the drinks. I always recommend on Sunday put yourself on the waitlist through handy yelp and also they have drinks all morning except on Sunday they don't start until 11:30 (they close at 1:30 everyday). So if your tummy is touching your back and it's time for breakfast what are you waiting on head over to another broken egg...... read more

I have to agree with Helen who left a comment about the slender dark haired hostess. Walking into the restaurant my first impression was not great because her demeanor was not very pleasant nor welcoming. The hostess seemed as though she'd rather be anywhere else but there. She never made eye contact with my husband and I. She asked if we wanted paper menus and we said we'd like two, and she gave us one. Our server was even worse. He was so inattentive, my husband must've asked for regular creamer three times and our waiter brought French vanilla, not a big deal but by the time he got it right, my husband's coffee was ice cold. We asked for silverware and napkins a few times. Our breakfast came and we still had no utensils. My husband finally got up and went inside and helped himself to silverware and napkins. Unfortunately, between the greeting that we received, and our overall service being as poor as it was, it's hard to give a fair assessment of our meal, because our experience was tainted before we even took a bite. read more

First let me say this place was packed and the woman taking reservations at the front was extremely friendly and helpful considering so many people were trying to get in. I wanted about 45 minutes and once seated, the waitress was very helpful in going over the menu since I had never been in before. I eventually end up going with the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very flavorful and the sauce on the waffle made the waffle amazing. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try so I will definitely be back. read more

Five star service - super friendly staff. They offered me free beneighs as a first time customer. They will probably do the same if you tell them you have not been there before. The sweet ham was a good side. I went there on a Sunday morning while visiting Tampa on a business trip. I also checked out Radiant Church across the street which was a great service. Expensive, poor service, average food. I live right by Broken Egg so was excited when it opened. Service was average to poor. Food ended up on floor and waitress couldn't get basics right. Reached across friend to pour water with armpit in his face while trying to eat. Didn't ask what we were doing with check and who was paying for what so had to come back two or three times to clarify before we could finally pay bill. Last but not least this place is expensive. I've had better food and for a lot cheaper. Sad to say but won't be going here again. Not until prices come down. No where near worth it. read more

Wow! Stumbled across this new restaurant while staying down the street during a visit to Tampa. The food is simply awesome! Ordered the granola, quinoa and fruit bowl and it blew me away. I am not the healthy eater but after a mediocre Chipotle meal the night before, I thought I'd clean it up a bit for breakfast. The customer service is unbelievable, everybody is so friendly and helpful. Come early because by 8:30, it was jam packed (I can see why). Oh yeah, breakfast is served all day which is a major WIN!! The world needs more breakfast/lunch places like this!! read more

We had never been to Another Broken Egg in Tampa and decided to try it on a Sunday. We arrived at 11:30am and the Hostess said that there would be a 30min wait. This turned into an hour and 10min wait. Finally we were at our table at 12:45pm and ordered water and coffee with extra cream and sugar for the table. The water came out first... 5min later. We then received the cream and sugar another 5min later and still NO coffee. Finally, our coffee made it to the table after almost a 15min wait. We figured at that point we had better order our breakfast. We did so and a FULL 45min later our food arrived (luke warm at best). I will say the food was good but I will never go back again. Poor and slow service. From the time we arrived to the time we left was approximately 2hrs and 15min. There are so many other choices for breakfast that have excellent and quicker service. Been here several times since it opened. Some times it has been better than others. Yesterday was a total fucking disaster. I asked for decaf coffee and got regular. Several of our food items were wrong. Food items arrived at different times. Waitress was a complete moron. Too many other good breakfast joints in South Tampa to come back here. read more

The highlight of the meal for me was the hot chocolate. Other than that the food was underwhelming, but okay. I had the lobster and Brie omelette with city grits and my wife had the veggie omelette with fruit. Mine was alright and the city grits were really, really creamy. The combo wasn't worth the almost $18 paid for it. The veggie omelette had a TON of goat cheese and it really took away from the rest of the entree. The fruit was very firm too. The hot chocolate helped as that hit the spot. Wanted to try this restaurant as others had mentioned it, but not worth the trip for me. read more

Food was flavorful but: (1) food came out later than expected, (2) the Avocado toast barely had avocado, (3) the bread/toast of the Avocado Toast was so hard I was afraid I would break a tooth, so I ended up not eating them, (4) the English muffin in the omelette did not pair well - one was much smaller and looked burnt than the other - and they were also hard as a rock. Hopefully above comments, which were conveyed to our server, will be fixed. I was initially happy about the place because of the nice, clean, well organized setup, and the coffee cups were cute and inviting for us to drink more coffee. read more

I wish I could review the food, but haven't had much luck even getting in to this place. Tried 2 weeks ago on a Sunday morning. We signed up on the wait list via yelp. Ok, maybe 25 minutes wait. No problem. But for some unknown reason, they don't want people sitting in the lobby, so they have the seating in the lobby blocked off. So there is minimal room to stand in the lobby (the very warm and stuffy lobby), or sit outside in the sun, where there is zero shade anywhere. We finally left because we were not going to sit and wait in the sun, and the lobby was very uncomfortable. Yesterday we thought we would try again, and signed up on the wait list again on Yelp. The response said we were 18th in line and to check in by 11:39 a.m. Great. We ran an errand then made it to the restaurant right on time, only to find out the restaurant was closed to dine in and only open for take out orders. HUH? So why have the app running on Yelp? Funny, my time in line dropped from 18th to 15th. How did that happen when they were not seating people? lol. Please take the app down off of yelp if you are not seating customers. And come up with a better option for customers waiting for tables, please. read more

Wasn't expecting a lot but boy was I wrong. The Mardi Gras omelet was the best omelet I've ever eaten and the tomato hollandaise was made it even better.
