I feel like this place used to be good a long time ago. Lately every time I've gone the tables are sticky and the food sub par. The servers are always nice just wish the food was as good as it used to be. One thing that has stayed consistent is the waffles, they're still tasty as ever! I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a close friend and was greeted warmly & seated quickly. The restaurant wasn't busy so the server Stephanie came right over. She was very nice but i noticed she was rushing a bit. I figured because it was slow she was just serving one table, no big deal. Then after a while I noticed someone violently coughing etc in the back area. Then that was filling sneezing and I saw my server realizing it was her. I am sorry but you cannot be in food service and either show up sick to work or allow sick/ill employees to be at work! We just have a whole Covid pandemic and people still don't seem to care! Marginal food with marginal service, need I say more? No but I will, lol. Crab Benedict had dry crab and bland, colorless hollandaise. The fruit salad "upgrade" for $3.50 featured canned peaches in a sugary sauce with a few cut strawberries and blueberries. As a first-time customer, we were promised free beignets but these only came after we asked when they were supposed to arrive - server fail. Service was inattentive in general. My wife substituted chicken for Turkey in the chop salad and did not like the chicken - which she normally has no problem with at other venues. For the same price, go to a First Watch location for much, much, much better food and service. That's what I'm doing! This place !!! I found it, of course... through Yelp. We found it located in a fairly small shopping center. The waitress who assisted us, Brianna, was the sweetest and the best. She has amazing customer service!! We tried their cold brew coffee with caramel. Great way to begin. We later ordered their Mardi Gras Omelette. It is deliciously packed with shrimp and crawfish. It was sided with a toasted biscuit and house potatoes. I ordered their crab cake Benedict. This plate was soooooo delicious, I don't know if I was starving, or it was THAT GOOD. We finished off with their biscuit beignets. They were yummy, toasty and with the side of orange marmalade to give it that tangy touch. Great first time here. The hot chocolate was so-so, Swiss miss is better honestly. The OJ is rather large which is nice. The banana bread French toast was fantastic! The beignets however were a miss for us. Fried too long and wayyyy too much powdered sugar. If you're looking for New Orleans style, these aren't them. Well Another broken egg cafe is by far my favorite breakfast spot these days! This location was great. If I'm not mistaking our servers name was Brad and he was really good with us. The host greeted us right away , and wiped down a table to get us seated. The restaurant was pretty busy as it was Easter Sunday and the staff was doing a good job taking care of everyone. My dad and I came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast around 10:30am. There was a very short wait (less than 10 minutes) which was nice. We did have a bit of trouble finding parking as the restaurant was located in a crowded shopping center. I got the shrimp and grits for my meal. I was disappointed in this dish. The shrimp didn't have much flavor and the sauce was way too runny and didn't mesh well with the grits. Everything was bland and felt overcooked. The garlic pieces on the side were pretty good and helped to soak up some of the extra juice in the dish. Our waiter didn't seem engaged when serving us and was gone for a while so we weren't able to get refills on our hot coffee. I think the prices were reasonable - we would like to come back and give this restaurant another chance and try some of the spiked coffees. read more

Overall the food was alright . We Got free beignets for our first time. When our food came out everything was a little under cooked , our eggs were very runny and under cooked so we asked could they get cooked a little more and they brought them back out burnt . We were not very pleased with the burnt eggs so we called for a manger. They brought out the kitchen manger and he was very pleased to help us resolve the issues he was orginally going to get the food for free but they claim we ate it so they said we had to pay for half. I would also like to add how my friend ordered and orange juice and it came out in a mimosa glass and she claimed she was getting more than the regular orange juice glass and they ran out of orange juice glasses. When we talked to dominic the kitchen manger he assured us that a mimosa glasss is not what orange juice comes in and he didn't understand why she lied about what the orange juice came in. Exceptional experience at Another Broken Egg. What drew me in was their "chef inspired menu items" and of course the great Yelp reviews. We joined the waitlist and when we arrived, we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. The space is small, but cute. We opted to go to the bar for one drink where we met Crystalyn. She was warm and welcomed us with a smile. You can tell she enjoys what she does. Almost as immediately as we got our drinks, we were told our table was ready. We hated to leave Crystalyn because she was amazing!! We were seated with Blake, our waiter. To start, we ordered beignets which were warm and perfectly powdered. Our mains were the Mardi Gras Omelette and the Biscuit & Gravy. We were truly blown away. The gravy on the biscuit and gravy dish was fantastic. I wanted to bathe in it lol. The biscuits were soft and not too doughy. The dish came with eggs which were perfectly cooked to my liking. It also came with a side of potatoes and they were crispy and complemented the dish very well. The Mardi Gras Omelette comes with shrimp, crawfish, and andouille sausage amongst other things. All the ingredients went together very well and the seafood was super fresh. We also loved the option to add a short stack of Bourbon Street Pancakes! A short stack of specialty pancakes feels like a rarity. The pancakes were soft, perfectly balanced, and not too terribly sweet. We left here with the biggest smile on our faces. I went to brunch here with a friend. We got here and we're seated right away. The server was really great and suggested some of her favorites which included a veggie omelette and the shrimp and grits. It all sounded amazing but my heart was set on the crab cake benedict and it did not disappoint! It was so delicious and paired perfectly with my side of fruit. We were a little worried my friend would not be able to have it as she was allergic to pineapples and was super nervous when it came out. The server had explained to us that it was mangoes along with strawberries and blackberries. Refills for our waters were quick and our server even made sure the lemon in the water was okay for the both of us. We took home a half order of the beignets which were four to an order. Outside seating area is off to the side and in a covered area. Service was friendly and everyone was wearing masks. It was a little busy, but we were seated right away for late Saturday brunch. The bacon is baked so it wasn't greasy. It was perfect bacon that is not too crispy or too fatty/soft. I asked for my egg fried hard and they delivered. The pancakes were amazing. I tried their specialty pancakes which had cooked apples, toffee, and chocolate. It proved to be a good combination. I do wish there was more toffee because it was in small pieces while the apples were in large slices. The pancakes by themselves are fluffy and golden. we had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table, when we got their first and there was no one else to be seated. after other people started coming in, we were skipped being seated behind almost 5 other families of our size and then we had to ask when we were going to be seated, just for the person in front who, asked us when we came in how many and how long the wait was, that they didn't see us there and thought we came in after all of them, while I sat there, the whole time, in front of the person giving us tables. Nice spot for brunch! Wet up with my sister here earlier today. Our waitress was def on point and great service! I ordered chicken sausage and what I thought was regular hash browns. Now the only reason this isn't a 5 star is because their "hash browns" are just home fries. I was all excited for my mimosas and hard cooked hash browns. Unfortunately out came home fries. I wasn't going to post a review about this place via as I sent my feedback via their company to see how they would handle this internally, but after getting a response from their customer service team (if you can call it that) I changed my mind. This was probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in recent memory. Two of my friends were in town from LA, and had dined at one of their locations out there. They had nothing but good things to say so my fiancé and I met them there. It was a Sunday afternoon so I knew it would take a minute for us to get seated. When we checked in with the host, who I believe was one of the managers on duty, you could get the sense things were unraveling at the seems. He was very frantic, snapping at the hostesses who were trying to help. They were growing more and more frustrated because he was seemingly making things worse rather than better. He quoted us 15 minutes for outside and 30 minutes for inside. I told him first available. 45 minutes later we still weren't sat, and watched a few other people who had arrived after us get seated before we did. I checked with one of the hostesses who politely told me that he had seated my party already, which clearly he had not. I didn't receive a text either that my table was ready and my party was waiting literally in a chair right next to the stand. She apologized, went and got the man again who then consoled us and got us sat right away, saying the server would bring silverware right away. Well if you couldn't guess, the silverware never came and neither did a server. We sat for 15-20 minutes before I grabbed a manager walking by and explained the situation. He apologized and took our drink order, and before he could go anywhere else the table behind us grabbed him complaining their food was ice cold. At this point we decided to go elsewhere. Before we got up a server came up to us and said "she noticed we hadn't been greet yet. She wasn't sure who our server was but... she could help if we wanted." We politely declined, walked down the street to Buffalo Wild Wings and had a much better experience. Could have been a bad day for the restaurant but to me looks like a concept that's rapidly growing and doesn't have good leadership and staffing in place. Hope they get it together, and that their customer service team becomes less robotic and takes these reviews more seriously. read more

We just moved to Tampa and already have been here twice. So far favorite breakfast place, staff is super nice, kind and good. This was my second time visiting this location and the service was as I recalled. I met a friend here for brunch on a Monday around 1030, the restaurant was mildly busy but we were quickly seated. I ordered the Bourbon Street Pancakes and my companion had the Crab Egg benedict. Although my companion was not thrilled by her order I struggled to put a dent in my stack of fluffy bourbon flavored cakes. I had brunch here while on vacation. This is a very generic breakfast spot. It's sorta cute, in a little strip mall sort of area. The patio is very nice. Portion sizes are decent. The menu seems fun and creative, but the food didn't blow my mind. The biscuit beignets with honey were my fave, but they're obviously heavier than beignets should be since they're made from biscuits. The honey was so thick, sweet, and delicious. Overall it was too sweet though with the powdered sugar if you're not into that. The chicken and waffles was probably the biggest let down. Just chicken tenders with a Belgian waffle. The sauce they serve with is good. My brother used regular pancake syrup though. Pound cake French toast was also a bit heavy. Mardi Gras omelette may have had too much going on and at the same time minimal flavor. I have no complaints really, but I won't return on future trips to Tampa. read more

They tasted like someone put chili over chips and then eggs on top. Now. The real star and a 5 star at that was the city grits which if you go ask for them and an egg on top and you're good to go. I ordered a shrimp Benedict, and my husband got a blt. His meal was fine; mine was disgusting. I've ordered the shrimp Benedict before and the egg was not cooked at all! It's like the cracked it on the top. The fruit had a vile taste that I had to spit out so it was spoiled. I asked the waitress for a re do if the shrimp Benedict. She brings it back out and guess what? The bread is stale!!!! And it was insanely salty!!! Like come on!! It's like the chef got mad and mad it even worse!! They accommodated a walk-in party of 15 of us on a Sunday at 12 noon. Our server, Sebastian, is the main reason for the 5 stars. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of! He was genuine, fast, knowledgeable, attentive, polite, kind, and patient. They have a lot of selection for food and morning spirits (variety of mimosa and Bloody Mary options). The breakfast foods have a southern twist. The beignets with marmalade were pretty good. Some of the dishes our party got looked better than others.
