My experience here was on a weekday morning so I can't speak of wait times as I was sat right away. Got the southwest scramble and it was fantastic, great portion size, and the strawberry mimosa was also delicious. My wife and I were there for the first time the Saturday before Easter. We expected it to be busy since it was a holiday weekend and planned for that. Since it was just the two of us we did get seated right away, which we took as a good sign. We loved that the menu had a spin on traditional breakfast meals. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning and even brought us a bourbon sauce to go with our beignets, which we were grateful for, as we did not care for the marmalade that came with them. It did take quite awhile to get our food and then it wasn't very hot, but it was very busy. Once we received our meals, both of were not pleased with our selections, but that was not the fault of the restaurant. We were not going to complain as the meals were our choices, but it took forever for the waiter to come back around and then we requested our check and the waiter did not even inquire as to why we barely touched our plates, he just cleared the table. read more

It's always nice when a new restaurant opens up nearby, increasing variety and choices. However, having visited here twice, I must say the food here was underwhelming for what you are paying. My omelet was cooked perfectly, but it didn't have nearly enough veggies and cheese. The potatoes tasted like cheap, frozen food section fare, and the pancakes bland and overcooked. I've had much better quality, tastier breakfast at local 'mom and pop' diners in the general area that charged about half of what I paid here. 2 and a half stars. read more

This was our first time here. The food was mediocre. Our server informed us that this was a new menu but nine of the items were unavailable because they had "sold out" several days before. The problem, according to our server, was that the items/ingredients were not available from their corporate central distributor. Huh? How can you not replace menu items that are basically eggs and fresh fruits and vegetables within a few days? Aren't these ingredients usually freshly delivered on a regular basis to a restaurant? Further, the bathrooms are unacceptable. The floors are incredibly sticky which means they are mopped with water only and no soap. The stall doors do not fit easily and I had to ask someone else to help me push the door open to get out. The soap dispenser is so close to the sink that it continues to dispense soap onto your sleeve while you're washing your hands; and the waste container was dirty. This location has been open less than a year. We will not be returning or to Another Cracked Egg. read more

While the cocktails, especially the spiked coffee were satisfying , I didn't think the food met the hype. In fact , my friend and I both ordered omelettes that were supposed to have cheese and neither did. This may have brought some flavor to otherwise bland dishes. I thought about having the waitress ask for cheese but based on the wait this would have been more trouble than what it's worth. Do I think it's a neat little brunch place? Yes. At least as far as cocktails go. Is it worth the price? No. I have had more flavorful food at other places including First Watch. If you like the ambience and cocktails at a chic joint, go here. If you want an omelette that's tasty? I recommend another establishment. Edit: I don't like to frequent places who say no to substitutions and then give me a " side" of overcooked potatoes. I'm fine with paying a pretty penny for good food but in no way was this food more than mediocre. First time trying this place. Got on the waitlist in advance which is a nice feature. When we got to the restaurant the check in area and process was a bit chaotic. You have to check in to let them know you are there which is understandable. The problem is that the area is small and people who are also being called to the same spot when their table is ready. A bit underwhelmed as the food (two omelets) took awhile to come out and they were cold. The food is pretty good but for the price I would expect a little better. Drinks (mimosa and mule) were good. Total, tax and tip for two drinks, one coffee, two omelets and 1/2 order of beignets was $72.50. Place is pretty new so we will wait awhile before coming back for a second try. read more

I could not wait to try this place , I stayed at the hyatt . No waiting I was seated right away . The coffee was good in cute mugs . Had flavored creamers waitress did bring me my favorite French vanilla . I wanted to try the beignets (food order to a long time ) . No worries it was getting busy waitress was waiting on others . When beignets came out it was awful very hard I can taste the oil the powder melted into the oil it was gross . Still waiting for food it was about 30 minutes. I orders hueveos ranchero now every city I go to chorizo comes in it . Well this place wants to charge extra if you want it . It basically is just fried tortilla chips melted cheese black beans and 2 eggs . On the bottom of chips it was water from black beans which made everything soggy. This is clearly not huevos ranchero . No worries , I told the waitress I did not like it . She offered me something, so I ordered plain French toast . That was good. Charge me for French toast since I want satisfied, no the manager refused to credit me hiuevos rancheros mentioned she could not adjust cost because I disliked . So I get no charge for French toast . I'm gonna assume because it was cheaper . So ridiculous of manager . I looked over at a couple of tables and heard others saying potato's are very salty which they are I did not eat that and they were cold even worse . This place is not pricey , the food is not good . My experience my input . By the way waitress offered fresh beignets , she never brought them out but came over and said they were almost ready . Again she did not bring out . She was not rude , but assuming manager teaching them to not host if customer unsatisfied . Chick-fil-A gives better customer service than this place . read more

I love breakfast, and had high hopes for this place. Great location, nice decor and environment, and friendly staff, but if you can't even cook eggs over medium like I asked, why even bother? Pancakes were just mush. To the owners: Go to a Cracker Barrel and order pancakes to see how they should be done. Your 'house-made' breakfast sausage was so chewy it was nearly inedible. Coffee was also unremarkable, and in a world where coffee is now expected to be exceptional, you need to do better. Also, serve half and half in little cream dispensers, not in individual plastic single-serve things, same goes for butter. It creates too much plastic waste. And please serve Stevia as another sweetener choice. I was going to order your 'Hey, Lucy!' omelette, but if you can't even do pancakes and eggs, how could I expect that to be any better? And for Heaven's sake...HASH BROWNS, NOT FRIED POTATOES!! Geez. And, $17.26 with tax for two eggs, three small pancakes, two dinky sausage patties and a cup of Joe? C'mon, man... read more

I was so excited on my third visit to treat myself. I ordered the lobster/brie omelette. After a fairly long wait, my omelette came. Well I am over 55 and have been cooking for 40+ years so I can't be fooled. The omelette was topped with these cylinders of white flesh that stood up on their end. They tasted slightly fishy but not like lobster. And they didn't look anything like lobster meat. So I ate most of it. When quite a while had gone by and the waiter returned. He pointed out how to pay. Never asked how I liked the food. So I started to explain that I was very familiar with lobster and the mystery meat left on my omelette was not lobster. I thought it looked like and tasted like imitation cod. He immediately accused me of yelling at him (I was not yelling) and insisted it was lobster. He brought to me the frozen package from kitchen. When I looked at ingredients, it was half lobster and half pollock. Yummy! He continued to lecture me sharply. Apparently he knows what every other restaurant is serving when they claim to serve lobster. His attitude to me was worse than the food. He never offered to involve the manager and Im sure its just as well. I did get a discount on my bill and I got the heck out of there. read more

Did not order anything crazy - just kids pancakes, French toast, eggs etc. the table smelled like dirty wash cloths. The wait was terrible. Have you ever been somewhere and get spazzed out on by the bartender? Have you ever watched a male bartender ask his female bartender to pick up her slack because he was carrying the weight of the bar and she was too busy looking at her nails? Girl had f***ing claws for nails that's how long they were. I sat at the bar and watched a sh** show unfold before me. I was starting to get ready to jump behind the bar with him until I was informed that he had enough and now I wish I would've tipped him the money he deserved. I heard my friends say this place was great but after my experience today I'm pretty sure they had to be somewhere not in Ohio because that girl wasn't anything but clueless. This was my first time coming and I was very excited to try because the food looked good and the people friendly. We were greeted and then seated in a corner where it looked as if they took their breaks and kept all their extra rubbish! Our waitress took a while to greet us and seemed as if she were to busy to answer our questions and properly greet us in a restaurant that only had about 5 other tables filled. Total support for this business - we had an excellent experience! Seated timely, our server Christian was a pleasure (friendly, attentive, prompt) and the food was amazing. Sorry to see the negative posts, but our time there was about as good as it gets. They appeared to be appropriately staffed, the food came out at a good pace and other patrons all appeared to be enjoying their experience. As a former family restaurant owner, I would take any negative comments from their opening day/weekend lightly. From experience, opening ANY restaurant is a challenge and a bit of grace for these hard working people is more considerate, especially opening during COVID. Check them out !!! read more

Checked in and was told itnqould be a 30 to 35 minute wait. Waited 55 minutes and our place in line did not change from 47th. I went up to the hostess and explained the situation. She told me it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. There was a minimum of 8 yables that they were not even seating. Meanwhile groups that arrived after us were already seated and some were even eating. With being a new establishment at Crocker Park, they should have anticipated a large Sunday croud. This is my second time here and the food was good. One issue I have is the waitress they have. She was very pushy and rude and had the biggest attitude. I had her the first time I was here and got her again. I thought maybe she had a bad day the first time and this time it was the same thing. If she hates her job she should find a new job everyone is hiring. I still would come back because of the food but would ask next time not to get her if she was there. read more
