I was surprised by how good the food was, especially on breakfast, I was so happy to wake up and go tho the restaurant. Went there close to the dinner opening so they let us in even though we were not hotel patrons (covid limits their max occupancy I assume). Probably the best dining experience of my week long trip out west to Zion and other small towns. Food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Decided to eat here because we were staying at the hotel. Service was absolutely horrible. Waited 20 minutes to get sat which was fine but then waited another 15 minutes for 2 coffees. We finally got to order and waited an hour for our food to come out, which was only 2 omelettes. Not only did we wait an hour for our food, the family who sat after us received their food first. Our food had obviously been sitting in the window forever because it was barely even warm and our potatoes were hard. We were very patient but our server did not check on us once not even to grab payment. With mediocre food and awful service this place is not worth the money. read more

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Stayed at the hotel and ate here 3 breakfasts and two dinners. Very good pricing and serving sizes. Service the first night was a little off, but we were tired from the journey! Breakfast service was excellent. The fruit parfait was one of the best I have ever had, chose it three days in a row!! Good was very good and so was the service. The pasta was very good, but you get quite a bit. Not a complaint by any means just a mention. We also got the steak & chicken quesadilla and they just as you'd ext, standard issue, can't really go wrong. read more

Great small restaurant attached to a hotel. Friendly service with a lovely view. I had the rack of lamb which had a FANTASTIC chili sauce (we even asked for more for our vegetables, quinoa and mash potato. I asked if they sell jars it's that good!). It had a slight kick and did not overwhelm the meat. My husband had the ahi tuna and said it was good. It was a great spot for "date night" and I'm sure we will return next time we venture back to Zion. Do yourself a favor and get the lamb! read more

The Food, view and live music were amazing. Love the ambiance and this is a great place for a special occasion. It is very pricey so something I can only afford on occasion. Their menu used to be more affordable but food prices have gone up considerably. Still, the food was excellent. Their salad dressing is homemade. Their Ribeye was very good, broccoli could have been cooked more. You do get a lot of food for the price. Service was great. Brie appetizer the best - but pretty expensive - $24. Overall, a special evening and I highly recommend it if you want a special night out. read more

Not worth the money! The food was ok that's the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I ordered 2 sangrias for $10 each and the glass was full of fruit with only about 2 oz of sangria. I asked for 2 more but without fruit thinking I was going ti get a little more sangria but instead I got 2 glasses with only 2 oz of it. Not worth paying $10. Our server could of been better telling us that we were still going to get the same amount of sangria with or without the fruit. I'm planning on going back to Zion but not this place. read more

This place has such a beautiful atmosphere and decor that feel very at odds with the menu / food quality. We sat down here expecting to be at one of the more upscale places in town and there wasn't a single "plate" on the menu (eg, steak, pork chop, salmon, even chicken) - just sandwiches, burgers, and a few pasta dishes. It felt like a deli or bistro menu. Nothing about the food options was cohesive either - you offer pita and hummus as a side but bring weird salsa and chips to every table? It just doesn't make any sense. We also saw both beer and sangria being served to other tables, but neither were on the menu - we asked. For the record, our waiter was lovely, but the whole meal was such a letdown when this place has been hyped up to be the sort of upscale dining one might expect at what is supposed to be one the the nicest hotels in Springdale. read more

This place is smaller than we expected but it was a nice pretty patio! It was semi outdoors so they had heat lamps so it was not cold at all. It is also open during the winter time which is nice since a lot of places are closed for the season. The waiters were all super kind to us and very understanding. We got the steak quesadilla and the Cajun pasta. Both had huge portion sizes! The Cajun pasta was loaded with a bunch of toppings so it was super good for the price. My only complaint is that the shrimp and the ham was too salty in it. They have a lot of flavored lemonade, we got the pomegranate one and it was super yummy. read more

ANTHERA was such a cozy little place. There was the option of indoor or outdoor seating (everything was socially distanced and all the staff wore masks the whole time). We were seated at the most adorable table for 2 right by the fire place, it was so cozy. We started off with drinks, I got the canyon mule and I enjoyed that it wasn't a horribly boozy tasting cocktail, but it was definitely strong. It had a very nutty taste that wasn't my favorite, I prefer a more tangy mule, but it was unique and cozy in its own way. We started with the crispy Brussels sprout salad which honestly was a bad move. Because there was no possible way that anything else we tried would beat the flavors, texture, warmth and crispy sweet and salty of the Brussels sprout salad. My life might be changed forever. I thought about going back there today as soon as they opened to get a to go box of Brussels sprout salad to take home to my husband, but honestly it wouldn't do it justice to not have it fresh. It was so good. We got the bison carpaccio which was fun. It was light and paired very well with the micro greens and the crispness of the fried cheese. I don't know if I'd get it again (because I'm probably never getting anything besides Brussels sprout salad), but I'm glad that I got to experience it. Next we tried the anthera burger and the butternut squash gnocchi. The burger seemed great on paper, but was probably my least favorite of the night. I was ready for the fried tomato to be my favorite part of the burger but it was mushy, no crisp. And speaking of crisp, some of the fries were too crisp. It looked almost like they had been previously fried and allowed to sit so they fried them again, there were some really good ones, but the smaller ones were just too hard. The burger itself and all its parts had great flavor though, so I can't be mad, maybe if I started in on it the second it was brought to the table it would have been fresh and crispy, but I was nibbling gnocchi. The first few bites I thought the gnocchi was bland and I was underwhelmed. But it's not fair to eat that directly following that salad (I will not stop raving). After I got into it I really enjoyed the texture, gooey was and creaminess of the gnocchi. The cheese was the clencher with this dish and I would have enjoyed more of that creaminess ensured to be in every bite. The crispy little shreds on top didn't do much for me, but I did enjoy the fried sage I tried to get some of that in every bite and it was delicious. We were way too full and satisfied for dessert. I will definitely be back in the future for my salad and to sample more of their drink menu 5/5 for me. My favorite place I've eaten at in Springdale for sure. read more

Wow! Sooo soo good. The actual restaurant is downstairs (and outside), so if it looks like it is closed from the outside consider going inside and seeing the hostess. This has a beautiful view of the watchman from the patio and had live music with an artist who created his own songs. Order the lamb rack and enjoy it with a pairing of wine. read more

Visited during mid-March and was very disappointed in the service and quality. Staff seemed very overwhelmed (restaurant was not even half full). We sat at the bar and took a very long time to get served and then ordered appetizer and drinks. I don't think any alcohol was in our cocktails. We ordered basic drinks, margarita and Paloma. They were horrible and we didn't even finish them, that's how bad they were. The bartender didn't even ask if the drinks were ok since seeing the FULL cocktail sitting on bar. We were passing through Zion after a week of skiing, eating and drinking wine in Beaver Creek, CO, and stumbled across this wonderful restaurant at our Springdale hotel on the way home. We had some trouble finding a decent restaurant in Springdale during our week long stay. We decided to give Anthera a try, we went back two more times. We had a total of 5 different dishes over the three visits and none disappointed. Fernando offered perfect service and was so friendly. Top restaurant in Zion! We ate here for lunch twice and breakfast once and were blown away. The view at the outdoor tables is breath taking. We had top-notch service all meals and the food was delicious. Their burgers are huge 1/2 pound burgers and you can tell the fries are all homemade and well seasoned. They provide complimentary chips and salsa which must also be homemade, best salsa I've ever had. The breakfast steak wrap was very big and full of flavor and my husband loved his biscuits and gravy. At 8 pm having not received our food and being told by waitress they had room service orders to fill, It seemed that customers coming in and not staying at hotel are second and are expected to wait. We ordered the brusselsprout salad and the caesar salad with a parm bowl; the portions for the caesar were very small, so expect to be receiving your sustenance through parm crisps. We added chicken and salmon to the salads, which was dry. Additionally, we had the Mac and cheese, which was pasta trying to be a Mac and cheese; the only redeeming quality was the breadcrumbs.
