The service is as impeccable as the food and it quickly made its way to the top of our list. We have been a few times now for special events and each time, we had a fantastic time. My husband got the Waygu and (reluctantly) let me try it- literally melt in your mouth. I tend to get the filet and it is by far the best I've had. Amazing experience! My wife and I went to Anthony's Chophouse to celebrate her birthday. Micci was an amazing server and very knowledgeable. She recommended a wine that my wife loved. All the food was delicious! We started with the carpaccio, which was awesome. My wife even loved the gluten free bread! We attended a holiday dinner here and had a wonderful evening. The family hosting the dinner booked the upstairs private room and it was beautiful. There was a huge table and a private bar for us alone. The service was also amazing. Our server had the perfect balance of continually filling drinks and timing the meal right, while also leaving us alone to catch up. A team of people brought all of our apps and meals out at the same time like a parade, which was also impressive. I got the Fumo & Flora cocktail which had gin and elderflower. The bartender lit a piece of rosemary on fire, which made the drink nice and smoky. We also had some great red wine that was continually topped off for everyone. The host ordered the broiled goat cheese, tempura cauliflower, Charlie's pounders (meatballs), buttery bread, and Caesar salad appetizers. They were all amazing... specifically the meatballs, bread, and salad. Don't miss those! I had the filet with truffle butter and it was well-seasoned and melted in my mouth. Sooo good. I called to make reservations. They asked for my CC number which I have never experienced. I asked why. They then told me I'm charged $100 ($25/person) to make a reservation, but it's credited towards the meal. The audacity to ask for my CC without first telling me why.... So if I show up on time (as I always do) and my table isn't ready, as it usually isn't for another 5-15 min even with reservations, do I get my $100 back and a $100 discount? Seems one sided. Just another cash grab by restaurants. Like them starring at you asking you to select 20%, 25%, 28% preset tip amounts. The entitlement of restaurants now-a-days is astounding. Anthony's used to be my favorite steak place in town. I happily spent $200+ per person here. I won't be going back. They need to treat guests better and not be entitled. I hope the restaurant industry gets hit by a bus, and there is a hard reset, giving us places who once again value their guests and not bully them. The restaurant was beautiful! The food was delicious. From start to finish the food just kept getting better. Being in the food industry you can have the best food but if your service isn't great it definitely affects your experience and your food especially when going to a fine dining restaurant. I can say I have been to a lot of finer steakhouses and Anthony's is hands down top notch! Our waiter Olaf was incredible and took the time to explain menu items and didn't rush us and also genuinely engaged in conversation about life. Yes I know that's their job especially at nice restaurants and most of the time you leave places saying he or she was great and so nice. Don't really love the food though, it feels overpriced and there are better options out there. Came here for a business dinner and got crab cakes and scallop shells for appetizers. Tasted good, but nothing special. The best thing here is definitely the lobster bisque, probably the best I've had anywhere - super rich and creamy. For dinner, we got the lamb rack which was okay - just felt like it was mostly bones and very little meat. We also got the beef Wellington, which was way too salty and just had too much going on. The ambience is nice and service was fine; the food is pretty good but can't justify the price. The apps were ok, and the lobster bisque soup I did enjoy. However, the steaks were disappointing. Four of the five of us all had steak significantly overcooked. It seemed like putting a "crust" on the steak meant burning it even for rare / medium rare (with little to no pink in the middle). Only one of us sent it back, and even on the second attempt he said the temperature was better but still didn't taste like anything special. At least I had bankers foot the bill for dinner, which seems like what this restaurant was primarily made for. Our night here started out so great with our first cocktails, but gradually went downhill from there. So first of all, the "Misery Loves Company" cocktail is AMAZING! I wasn't quite sure what to expect from a drink made with beet juice, but it was so good, and one of the only reasons I'm giving Anthony's 3 stars instead of 2. Ok, on to the food. The Oysters Asado appetizer was fantastic. We also ordered the Bourbon Mussels, which were delicious. The mushrooms that had soaked in the broth were especially good, but unfortunately about a third of the mussels were still closed up in their shells and inedible. I would've mentioned something to our server about it, but we ended up not even finishing it because we had so much other food, so I felt silly complaining that a large portion of the mussels were no good when we still had some good ones in the bowl that we didn't eat. (But if you're wanting to feed more than two people with this, you may be out of luck.) The lobster bisque was not the best I've had, but still very good. It was right on the verge of being way too sweet and way too thick (almost custard-like), but I still ate most of it. They could've been a little more generous with the lobster meat in it (The lobster shell on top in the picture is purely a garnish.), but there were some discernible bits of lobster in there. We also ordered the Calle Corn and Creamy Mac. The corn was fine. Possibly frozen? I'm not sure, but it had a chewier consistency than I usually get from fresh corn. The Creamy Mac was delicious, but we almost sent it back because we thought they had forgotten that we added the lobster. But then I found a few little shreds of lobster meat. That's it -- a few shreds here and there that you really had to go searching for to find. Nowhere near $12 worth of lobster in that dish. (That's the upcharge to add lobster.) Overall we, spent a huge chunk of money on a mostly underwhelming meal. Service was very good, though they need a bit more wine training. Our server repeatedly said that the Gavi we had ordered was a really good Pinot Grigio. (Gavi is not Pinot Grigio; it's made from the Cortese grape.) But our server was very attentive and friendly, and he is the other reason for the 3rd star in this review. read more

This by far was one of the best steakhouses I've been to. I went with a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday and the customer service was amazing. The staff really made you feel like you were important. Staff has on masks the entire time. I ordered a Magnum PI drink which turned into 2 and eventually the entire table ordered one. That's how good it was. My husband and I shared an appetizer of the pork belly with polenta and corn. The pork belly was so tender. This could literally be a meal all by itself. We also got to get a taste of the seafood tower that another couple ordered and it did not disappoint. The oysters were yummy. For dinner I went with the filet and my husband chose the wagyu filet. I took a bit of his and was instantly jealous! I see why it has a high price tag because it was just that good. Don't get me wrong, my little bitty filet mignon was good too. We all shared sided of Brussel sprouts, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. The mac & cheese had an interesting spicy kick to it. Now lets get to this dessert. Bourbon Bread Pudding!! First, let me acknowledge that I am going to complain about an issue that steak houses really should not overly concern themselves with - vegetarian options. I ordered the Forest Tagliatelle as a main which is their only veggie option. It was so underwhelming for the price point. It honestly wasn't a bad dish but for $35 pasta, I was left feeling dissatisfied. Aside from that, everything else was incredible. We ordered apps for the table and lots of shareable sides that were all very good. Our server was amazing and made sure our table of six celebrating ladies had a great time. Alright y'all so Anthony's is the real deal. Best lobster bisque I've ever had. Very creamy and full of flavor. Savored every bite and would get it again in a heartbeat. For the entree, I got the "flight of beef" which is 3, 4 oz filets (prime, grassfed and wagyu). You can add "personalization" to the steaks, and I tried the Chop sauce (their version of steak sauce) and Horseradish cream. My favorite of the three was the prime, followed by wagyu, then grassfed (slightly too chewy for my liking). I'd recommend trying to eat most of the steak when it first arrives at the table. The plates are room temperature, and the steaks quickly go from piping hot to room temperature once you cut into them. I really enjoyed the horseradish cream and for those familiar with some that have a kick, this one wasn't too overpowering. The sides are a la carte, and serve 2-3 people. We tried the shoestring fries, twice broiled yukon potatoes and broccolini. The yukon potatoes were my favorite, and they are served mashed with sour cream and some other spices. I would probably pass on the broccolini next time, they were kind of dry in my opinion. For dessert we tried a chocolate raspberry cheesecake with oreo crust. It had a light rich flavor and was enjoyed by everyone at the table. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. My only gripe would be that the service was a tad slow (we had a reservation at 7pm and didn't finish up until 930pm). However, the price point of this restaurant caters toward special occasions, so I'm guessing most guests wouldn't mind an extended dinner. read more
