Our waiter Oloft was FANTASTIC! Loved the smoked old fashion. Very smooth!

We love to try new places & tonight was a FANTASTIC MEAL! We were celebrating a birthday. Wonderful parking in crazy tight Carmel, IN. The atmosphere rich, but not intimidating. The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. We will visit here again and not just for special occasions! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Definitely better than Prime 47, better than H! We still love Nylas in Westfield and the Salt in Carmel. Parking was definitely better at Anthony's! See you again soon!

Came to Anthony's for Valentine's dinner. Wow was it lovely! The service was excellent (Audrey gave us so many great suggestions and was attentive and patient). We had the Ravioli and added scallops (again, great tip from Audrey!) and the ribeye. Scrumptious! The chop salad was crisp and savory and by far the best one I have ever had! We got the bacon appetizer and it had a nice sweet heat- I would get that again and will be thinking about for DAYS. Everything was served with generous portions. Definitely felt like a special occasion. Oh and the whipped Yukons- crisp on the top, silky under. So darn yummy!!

Came to Anthony's for a work team dinner & had an amazing time. We had a drink at the bar while we waited and this restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly large! Our waiter, Olaf, started out night out with a bang... He made us feel special, by actually taking time to know what company we were from, what we did & other details which safe to say we'd never seen before! We essentially ordered everything there is to order and there is no bad choice on this menu at all! The appetizers like the bacon and lobster bisque I could eat every day for the rest of my life... SO GOOD! I went with the $79 Wagyu fillet and decided to add the crab oscar on it (because I wasn't paying for it of course)... and it was one of, if not the best steak of my life. The dessert may have been the "worst" thing about the meal, which is saying a lot because it was still good! Even though I'm not a huge cranberry fan, that cheesecake was very good! My coworkers got the choco tacos (childhood throwback), they mentioned they're very peanut buttery, but if that's your vibe then you'll love it! The liquid dessert I had "better than therapy", I personally wasn't a fan of. However it if you like a strong chocolate liquor, you'll enjoy this. Overall great night at an amazing restaurant. One of the best in the Greater Indianapolis area for sure.

Disappointed that my $71 steak was overcooked. The lobster macaroni was pretty good and the dessert was great. The service was pretty good and I may go back on a special occasion.

First time here, we really enjoyed it. We didn't have a reservation, but grabbed two seats at the bar. The two story windows allow a lot of light in, therefore it's bright inside. The bartender was super nice and helpful. We started with two well balanced cocktails. The truffle arancini were perfectly crisp and delicious. After some hemming and hawing, I went with the Spinalis steak, which was an awesome juice. Super great cut and perfectly cooked. My g/f got the sea scallops, which she also loved. I didn't prefer the carrot puree, but it didn't take away from the meal. All in all we have lovely experience and will be back!

TL; DR: Anthony's has easily become my #1 steakhouse experience in the city. There's no question that the service and cuisine is worth the splurge. It's been a long time since a night out has captivated me as much as my visit to Anthony's! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant until the moment we left, we had an amazing experience. I am always leery of going out on Valentine's Day, because the service at places are usually not as great. This was not the case. First of all, I made a reservation several months in advance. I didn't want to chance not being able to come here. When I arrived, I was greeted by the hostesses who were very professional young ladies. They quickly checked me in and asked to check my coat. I sat in the beautiful lobby while waiting for my husband and the hostesses gave me the option to be seated or to wait. I chose to wait, and when we arrived, we were seated near the kitchen where you can see the kitchen staff preparing dishes. Normally I abhor this area but here was awesome because there was no distraction at all. The kitchen is beautifully designed. Our server, Olaf, was delightful. He started us with a suggestion of a flavorful red wine (Faust) which I enjoyed. If you decide to go with a red, I was suggest considering to go for a bottle of this instead of just a glass. While reviewing the menu, Olaf brought us a dish of warm garlic butter bread with garlic butter spread. Excellent. The steaks here are a very healthy size. I knew that I couldn't eat one alone, so opted to go for an appetizer of crab cakes for my main course. My husband made a decision between the strip, spinalis (which is a special cut of ribeye), or the flight to share with me. We decided on the flight and it was a wonderful decision. 3 different 4 oz cuts which were cooked to perfection - melt in your mouth! I was in awe of how delicious this steak was. We had a prime cut, grass fed, and wagyu. If you've never tried wagyu, you won't be disappointed. I can still taste it! My crab cakes were a great addition to the meal, as they served two of them with a delicious aioli. It was enough for me to share with my husband as well. Highly recommend. For our sides, I had heard good things about the baked Mac and I wasn't disappointed. We also had the broccolini which was flavorful and complimented the meal. Remember that they are family style portions. I went so far as to order dessert. I never do that! Reviews didn't steer me wrong with the bourbon butter cake. Do yourself a favor and look for it. Worth every bite. Shout out to the waitstaff. We were never left with an empty glass of water or dirty dishes hanging around. There are several young men and women who work here, and they are just top notch. I love a professional team of folks no matter where I am. Not to mention, the conversation with Olaf the entire night was great. He was funny and charming and easy to talk to. So listen - I'm already planning my return. Not to mention they have a rewards program where you can earn a hefty $100 coupon after spending $1000. That's amazing considering how pricy things here are (not complaining, the splurge is WORTH IT)! Plan a night out and stop in. You won't regret it.

We made a dinner reservation for an early Christmas date night at Anthony's, and it was our first visit there. We enjoyed the upscale ambiance, the location of our table with a great view to the holiday decorated trees outside, and the stellar & friendly service by Olaf and crew. We always over order so that we have leftovers to enjoy at home. Having said that, we ordered the following: Charlie's Pounder Appetizer Octopus Salad Lobster Bisque Swordfish Wagyu Filet & Lobster Tail Baked Creamy Mac & Cheese Roasted Brussels Raspberry Indulgence Dessert (to go) I truly enjoyed the lobster bisque and octopus salad. I'm not normally a meatball appetizer person, but the Charlie Pounder was very tasty and plentiful for sharing. My husband's wagyu filet was amazing, as was the lobster ($148 for both), but I didn't love the swordfish entrée. The menu description for the swordfish states, "14 oz Bone - In, Crab Meat, Savory-Butter Sauce." I took that to mean there would be luscious lump crab meat atop the fish which would lay atop the savory-butter sauce on the plate; instead, it was a thick, creamy crab and butter-type mixture that I did not enjoy. The fish itself was nice, though. I should've asked for clarification before ordering it, so that's on me, but I'll certainly do that going forward! The Brussels had a great flavor profile, but they were a bit mushy for our liking. The baked mac & cheese was decadent (and with a kick!) and we would order it again. I enjoyed two cocktails: Pound Town and Rosemary's Baby. I would definitely recommend the Rosemary's Baby cocktail. Oh, and perhaps random, but I really appreciated: 1) having my water topped off several times [without asking] as well as 2) Olaf keeping our white tablecloth clean by way of a crumb sweeper. We noticed several bar tables around the perimeter of the bar area and have decided we'll opt for dining there next time as a more casual experience with drinks and appetizers.

Came here back in March for our three year anniversary dinner and the food was delicious. All of the dishes were well balanced in flavor and I would order each one again. The place is very open and there is plenty of seating. Service was also very good. The waiter was very attentive and everyone was very welcoming. We will be back!

Food was excellent and our server "Chris" was fantastic!! We had the filet flight and Brussel sprouts with a wedge salad and lobster bisque. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Cake and two Espresso Martinis. All the food and drinks were spot on. Only things that could be improved on were glasses and steak knives were very spotted and the water boy responded to me when I said thank you with "yeah " not appropriate for a top end restaurant

Our server, Hannah, made us feel welcome immediately. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and struck the perfect balance of being available without ever hovering. We started with the Caprese peach salad and the deviled eggs, both of which were outstanding. Then the evening became something truly special. Our friends happened to know Chef Antoine, who came out to say hello and asked if we'd trust him to simply cook for us. We happily said yes--and we're so glad we did. The chef first brought out a beautiful arugula salad with peaches, strawberries, pecans, blue cheese, and an incredible peach balsamic vinaigrette. Then came what he called "a sampling," but it was really a feast. We enjoyed rich, tender short ribs over creamy grits, a perfectly prepared chicken cordon bleu with fresh green beans, and beautifully blackened redfish served with dirty rice and asparagus. Every single dish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Dessert was the perfect ending: creamy cheesecake and a slice of hummingbird cake, one of my all-time favorites. Both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. It was a beautiful evening, and while many guests enjoyed the patio, we chose to sit inside. After this experience, I already know we'll be back in the fall to enjoy dinner outside. I've lived back in the Indianapolis area for a while now, and I can honestly say this was the best meal I've had since returning. We had driven past Juniper on Main countless times without stopping. It took a friend's recommendation to finally walk through the doors, and now I'm wondering why we waited so long. If you haven't been, put it on your list. Outstanding food, exceptional hospitality, and an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back.

The pimento cheese dip was fine; closer to a nacho cheese dip. Both dips came with too few naan dippers to finish the dip (they charged extra for extra naan to finish the dip). - The cajun pasta was fine. Pasta was cooked well. I got it with chicken, which tasted good. The sauce was fine. - The hot honey chicken tenders were crispy, but lacked flavor. - The CBR chicken sandwich was good. Crispy and good size. - Do not order the side mac n cheese. $6 for some Stouffer's mac n cheese topped with the pimento cheese dip (that's basically nacho cheese dip). Overall, if someone asked to meet here for a meal I would request another restaurant but I'd still eat here if they insisted.

In…read moreshort: The food is dope, the service is attentive, the restaurant is classy but approachable. But mostly it's for Aaron Hansen, the chef at Lone Pine. He's a semifinalist for the Best Chef: Great Lakes (IL, IN, MI, OH) category. What an honor! I'm curious to see if he gets the medal, but even if not, hopefully this recognition will draw people to visit Lone Pine, because people really need to visit. I don't know how Lone Pine would describe its menu, but I would call it elevated comfort food. One of the things my table ordered was chicken piccata. When was the last time you saw chicken piccata on a menu?! It was delicious, and served with mashed potatoes and lettuce leaves that added a nice, fresh crunch to each bite. We also got the roasted salmon, which was served with fingerling potatoes in a pesto sauce, with arugula on the side. This, too, was delicious and rich, yet fresh. I ordered the short ribs, which came with polenta and caramelized pearl onions. The short ribs were just fatty enough, and the sauce that they were surrounded by was unctuous and wonderful to eat with the polenta. I guess I should have started this review by writing about our first course! We got the French onion soup, bloody Mary wedge salad and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad at Lone Pine is probably the best Caesar salad that I've eaten in Carmel, and maybe in all of the Indianapolis area. The thing that Lone Pine does differently and spectacularly is that they use breadcrumbs and not croutons. That makes all the difference! Granted, it does look a bit like a pile of pencil shavings on a plate, but sometimes the dowdiest foods are the best-tasting foods. The result is a satisfyingly salty, crunchy, creamy, crispy salad that I couldn't stop eating. I know I will be back to Lone Pine for the Caesar salad. We ended our meal by sharing two desserts: the apple pie panna cotta and the Lone Pine chocolate cake. Both desserts were amazing, but the cake won us all over because it looked deceptively heavy, but it was light and airy, and came with slightly sweet whipped cream. The service at Lone Pine is exceptional. They pay attention to detail here, and all of the little things are taken care of. Our server gave us just enough time between courses. Our water was refilled unobtrusively. We didn't get asked whether we've dined there before (because who cares?) and the menu wasn't over-explained (thank goodness, because I can indeed read). One thing we also noticed that we appreciated: The music was just loud enough to hear it, but not loud enough to notice it too much! It's these little things that come together to make a great dining experience.

My first experience at the restaurant was decent, so I figured we would give it another shot. I recall my first meal being a bone-in pork chop that was overly salted. I'll make my review brief. The restaurant was not too busy but our service was fairly slow, two separate drink orders that were requested never made it to the table, the environment was noisy/music too loud, etc. I decided to go with something very basic for my food order. My thought was, "I'll see how good they are at doing something simple." I got the black and burger cooked to the chef's preferred temperature (medium). My burger came out dry/crumbly/crispy/well done. Yikes. The server did offer to provide a complimentary drink while he asked the chef to prepare another burger (a nice gesture). However, the second burger came out raw (see photo). I'm a medium rare steak guy but this was inedible. The fries were very good. I'm not typically someone who is overly critical of restaurants but for the amount of money you're paying for these meals, the food and service should be excellent. My two experiences were fair and poor. This is very unfortunate because I've visited the sister restaurants (Beholder and Milktooth) many times and have had nothing but great experiences at both. Probably the last time I'll go.

For our meals, I had the Jambalaya pasta which was a large serving with plenty of meat, my husband had the tenderloin sandwich (which was massive and the best he said he has ever had on all of his trips to Indy) and our friend had the piggy melt grilled cheese (Mac and cheese and pulled pork!) That sandwich had incredible flavor and I said I'm getting that next time. We ended the meal with bread pudding bites as the photos on here looked delicious and the waitress recommended them. They certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant has a bit of a nicer vibe and there are certainly some people that were there dressed better than us, but it is not a stuffy atmosphere. Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Good beer selection as well.

It's 3 stars because the salmon was undercooked and somehow looked like chicken on top and pink in the middle. I had to send it back. We requested the sweet potato fries be well done and they were not. The manager was great and very accommodating as was our server. I just want to be able to enjoy the food. The strawberries in the salad didn't seem fresh. They were mushy and I didn't want to eat them. If I go back it will probably be for drinks and maybe appetizers only. The zucchini bread that comes with the salad was really good.

I ordered a Steakhouse wedge salad and the chicken tortilla soup. I was so shocked how big the portions were. I was expecting smaller, lunch portions. The food presentation was a 10/10. The wedge salad was gorgeous. It had two large onion rings and bacon on top. One of the best wedge salads I have ever had. The chicken tortilla soup was served in a large bowl. It was also a very beautiful presentation. Overall super impressed with the taste and overall presentation of the food.

There's a section on their lunch menu called The Perfect Pairings for $14.95. Basically it's a "you pick two" offering. I ordered the BLT salad and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were wonderful. So much food that I have leftovers. My friend ordered the fish tacos with tater tots. He said they were great as well. Also, plenty of food. The atmosphere was great. Not loud ... easy to carry on a conversation. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked great. I don't know why we haven't come here more often. That is certainly going to change!
