Came back here and this time had the Mike's Hot Honey pizza. The pizza was excellent. I love the sweetness from the honey. The restaurant is nice and clean. There's plenty of seating space.

My boyfriend and I wanted to come here for a long time I mean months and we never got around d to it till one day we gave it a go. He has been here before it was my first time and I did think it was pretty good. We sat at a table and ordered a bottle of wine I thought the combination would be perfect. Unfortunately they do not have any merlot which is my preference so we got a Cabernet which is not my taste but I dealt with it, it was just ok. Our server was great she was attentive, kind, patient and gave us her opinion on items and some flavors which helped our experience. Her name was Jules really sweet girl. To start we ordered two different wings one original which comes with onions it was my first time having wings like this they have a burnt taste to them not my taste really. We also ordered garlic wings and they were so good even my boyfriend could agree this was a great choice. The wings come with a warm pita bread which I used to scoop up that sauce delishhhh. For pizza we ordered two different pies his pepperoni, mushroom, sausage and prosciutto. For myself I ordered a simple grandma with extra cheese. What I do like is the bottom of my pizza to be burnt and crunchy some part were it was alright. We said we would return for happy hour one day soon to give it a try.

Regular 12 inch Coal Fired Pie :)

I'll gently preface this review by saying that I would have LOVED to try more, but we came on Pi Day and had to take advantage of the more economical choice -- a 12 inch regular pie for, you guessed it, $3.14. (Now that is math that I can appreciate it, hehe.) If you're craving a more nuanced style of pizza, the coal fired oven definitely delivers, and the cheese pull on the thin, charred crust was a thing of beauty, let me tell ya. I would like to go back and try their hot honey pepperoni pie or even one of their weeknight specials, which could save money, too. (Meatball Monday does have a nice ring to it, right?) We also shared a hearty order of their jumbo garlic/Romano wings, which were roasted, yay, and had that nice coal fired touch. (Plus, it switches things up to not always have the typical fried Buffalo wing -- I'm all about choices!) I clearly have to return for a larger sample size, but for now, I am feeling optimistic about Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings in Wantagh. It has a 'sports bar vibe' as well, so it's a laid back environment to hang, eat, and embrace all that the oven has to offer.

    Amazing wings

Had a great dinner tonight. Chelsea was my bartender and she was amazing. The wings were a 10/10 and the wine was served to perfection. Stop by on a Thursday night. You can't go wrong.

First time at the Wantagh location and wasn't disappointed. The white sangria was delicious, and our food hit the spot too. We had a Caesar salad, garlic knots, and a half caprese half eggplant pizza. The pizza was, as always, incredible - cooked perfectly, tons of flavor and great crust. The salad was good - though the croutons were a bit chewy, and the sauce on the garlic knots was unreal - but the dough of the knots themselves tasted a little stale.

Love this pizzeria and restaurant. The pizza is one of a kind you know when it's from Anthony's coal fired pizzeria. They were the first pizzeria I tried hot honey with and now I basically put it in all my slices the menu is simple and to the point and you can even customize your own personal pie. They also have salads and sandwiches. Our waiter was a sweetheart and I love all the photos of celebrities on the wall very fun and unique.

    Coal Oven Roasted Chicken Sandwich

Needed a quick lunch fix and stopped in here for take out. Ordered the oven roasted chicken sandwich which comes with prosciutto, grilled chicken, roasted bell peppers and arugula and mozzarella. Honestly it's simple and flavorful. There's herbs on the panini bread and it's oven roasted which adds some flavor. I went an extra mile and dipped it into a little blue cheese dressing and boom. I'll come back and explore the rest of the menu another time. For me this sandwich was good enough. Customer service was quick and friendly straight to the point how I like it

Belly up to the bar and have some pizza!

Solid four star pizza-ish joint. Who knew partner Dan Marino had such vision to get involved in this concept. The pizza is superb if you're into a charred crust. I know it's not for everyone but Jesse and I love this style. The house salad is also very good. And they have a pretty good tap selection. Also tried the vinegar cherry pork ribs and wings. Not what you would expect, very good out of the coal fired oven. Bartender was super friendly and let us sit and watch the game from the bar stools.

Good pizza though their dry rub chicken wings is a bit too spicy. Their original chicken wings are exceptional and the pizza is good.

I went to the Nelly/Ja Rule/Eve concert, the next day I worked and drove my son and I out to WildWood, NJ to participate in a short part of my boyfriend's annual family vacation, Tuesday night I left Wildwood at 10 PM because I had a notary class Wednesday. After the concert my friend Jen told me she was going to be here with her other friends. So I went to meet them because I didn't get to see them during the concert. Jen is so amazing she's very generous with me even though she doesn't have to be, so she paid for my burger that I ordered here because I didn't eat dinner and when I got to Boss Crocker's I was hungry. I gave the bartender a $20 tip because if someone pays for my meal I like to pay it forward and give the waitstaff or bartender a banger tip. The bacon cheeseburger was very good. They made it very fast, I don't know if it was the hunger but I loved it. They made it medium rare at my request and it was one of the best burgers I ever scarfed down. The bar was a pretty good environment, it was a pretty chill crowd for a Sunday night, more packed than I thought it would be. I can't say much about the drinks I only drank water but give Boss Crocker's a chance!

He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and really sets a place apart. I ordered the Boss Burger Deluxe, and this was not your typical bar burger. It honestly ate more like a steakhouse-quality burger--juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One of the better burgers I've had in a long time. Washed it down with a Guinness (2). While I don't love the size of the pour, I have to give credit where it's due--it was a great pour, done right, and that matters. I can't speak to the nighttime scene since I was there during the day, but it's a true local Irish pub, and I'd assume it turns into a fun time once the night crowd rolls in. Either way, I'll definitely be back--and I'd suggest everyone check it out for themselves.

Good size bar, big dining room with some very comfy booths (bonus for a big guy like me) and a menu that's not too expansive but runs the gamut of standard pub far. Beer was cold & definitely fresh which is always a plus. Baked clams were hot and quite tasty - some people don't care for the chopped variety but I actually like them this way and they were very flavorful. Wing cravings were one of the main reasons I came - having seen a good review from The Wing Scout I gave them a go since I was in the area. Opted for the medium and the Thai Chili. The flavor was there, they were indeed crispy on the outside, but the internal cook was very inconsistent. Some were insanely dry, others perfectly juicy. It's a shame because the sauces were quite good but getting them with a mouthful of dry chicken took away from the experience as did not knowing what was to come on the next one. Maybe it's a day shift thing, who knows. I'd probaby give them another chance at a busier time to see if they can bring their A game or if the high mark wings were just for the social media exposure.
