I recently dined at Anthony's and it was such an amazing experience. The second you walk into the door it has such a luxurious, yet warm feel. I loved the huge glass wall where you can watch all the chefs prepare your food fresh. Speaking of the food, I ordered the Italian sausage rigatoni and it was to die for. Our waitress was on point, always friendly and bringing us non-stop refills of drink (and bread). For dessert, we tried the lemon cake and it was so light and fluffy. Before the check came, the owner, Roman, came by to greet us and welcome us. It was a classy experience from beginning to end. I was there for lunch, but this would be a cute spot for date night or a special occasion. Go!!!! read more

This was our first visit since Anthony's moved to their new location. The restaurant is beautiful and very comfortable. Had lunch there last Saturday and everything was wonderful! I had the tomato soup on the lunch menu and must say that I believe it is the best in Dallas! When we return, I will order a bowl. Had the rigatoni with sausage and marinara - delicious! Took some home and ate every bite. Both of us had a glass of house red wine (Italian) and it was very good. We had a terrific server, Salvatore, and enjoyed conversing with him. read more

The butter pasta was so fire. The shrimp was so good and the sauce was amazing. It was buttery and garlicky and has the perfect flavor. Everyone fully devoured their food. We did not receive our starter of bread the food made up for the mistake. It was so scrumptious. Our waitress was really nice and knew all the foods we asked about. The place was really nice, we did not see the restroom but the overall place was very flattering. Their menu had a good between of pizza and pasta. It was also nice that they also had some seafood and chicken on their menu. We will definitely return. The wine list is great for a small place as well! read more

The food is mediocre at best. As a NY transplant, I admit my bar is high; however, there are dozens of better Italian restaurants here. The meatballs had giant blocks of onion in them, and had a cat food consistency. In the shrimp scampi, the garlic was the size of cabbage - perhaps a skilled Sous chef could help. The lasagna the waiter boasted about was similar to what one may find in a retirement home. I really wanted to like this place as it's close to my house. I was excited to try it! We love Anthony's! They have so many pasta dishes to enjoy that I try a new one every visit, and have yet to have one that I didn't love! I was so supportive as Anthony's weathered Covid and teased us with the new, bigger location. Unfortunately, the expansion has not gone well in my experience. I've ordered online from Anthony's at least every other month for years. 2 weeks ago I ordered as usual - so happy that the Bolognese was back on the menu. When I called an hour and a half later I learned that they were surprised that I hadn't picked up my to-go order... Last night against my better judgment I joined friends who had a reservation (or thought they had). Friends arrived 15 minutes early to learn that they didn't see the reservation (confirmed by the service provider). We were seated 30 minutes later. I saw the owners periodically during our wait and during our meal. They visited nearby tables all around us, but no word about the mix-up and not even a "Glad to see you again." No worries. I am sad that the only real neighborhood spot is gone and will order from further away in the future. read more

I'm going to give you a condensed version of our experience at the new location of Anthony's Eatalian. Three of us went for lunch. Only one of us received their lunch item and it was so bad that it was not even finished. That item on the lunch menu was the ragu. It was a watery mess full of elbow macaroni mainly with a little ground beef, some bell pepper and onion. Oh, they did grate a little a cheese on top of the mess. It came with a cold piece of tough garlic toast. Honestly, I think it may have set in the window too long. Even my friend tried this ragu and didn't like it. My other two friends never received a large pizza to share after us being their 45 minutes. They were told there was a problem with the pizza and it would be another 20-25 minutes. They requested to speak to the manager. The server went to him and came back and told us he was not able to come to the table. Not surprising. This restaurant has a real disregard for customers who dare have a complaint or concern about the food. In the long run, it will hurt their business. Customer service is just as important as the quality of the food or as on this day even receiving your food. The ambience is ok. Noticeably, the elephant in the room is the oversized bar with overpriced wine and drinks. Why they chose to keep the actual dining areas at each end of the restaurant small and cramped is odd. We've not returned after 3 years of eating there but to be honest, I haven't missed it. There are numerous Italian restaurants with much better authentic Italian food and superior customer service. read more
