I eat here at least 2 times a month. It's the best Italian in Pasadena by far. Dining in gives you great service but now that I had an issue, I realize that it's great service to your door. I wasn't 100% happy with one of my takeout meals we picked up. Was cooked to perfection but the issue was a vendor mistake which was clear to me. When I spoke on the phone with the manager, he immediately cooked another dish and brought it right to my home to correct my dissatisfaction. Who does that? Simply amazing. read more

I always test an Italian place out for the first time by trying the chicken parm and this one didn't disappoint! I felt like I was back at Gino's in Bayside Queens! Came here on Valentine's day night and as a server in the industry, I understand how overwhelmed small kitchens can get on special nights. We were greeted and told the food would take close to two hours to come out, but we still decided to have a drink. Half of the tables in the dining room are open and they said food is taking so long because they have carry out orders to get out first. I feel like it's rude as a restaurant owner to prioritize carryout orders over the customers sitting at your tables. read more

Wow!! After moving to Maryland from the pizza capital of the world, Old Forge, PA (if you don't believe me, GOOGLE IT) I went through a few years of agony finding a pizza that satisfied me. Until ANTHONYS!!! Got a large Grandma pie (my fav NY style) and a plain pie. Both were SO delicious and full of flavor. By far my favorite I've had in MD. I really want to like Anthony's since it's close and I liked Giuseppe's but, I ordered the pizza on three different occasions and each time the crust was floppy. Since this happened the first time, the second time and today I requested crispy crust (which the server repeated in repeating my order to me). Today the pizza was so soft and floppy I had a hard time getting it onto a pizza pan to try to cook it firm enough to hold and eat.
