Tonight we ordered three pizzas for delivery. The "manager" took our order (we were already in their database) and called us back about 30 minutes later to tell us we are not in their delivery area. She said she had called us before to tell us we are out of their delivery area but we have never received a phone call like that. I asked for the head manager or owner. A less-than gentleman came to the phone and said he was the owner then ranted and raved. He said they had never delivered to us before and yet they had, many times. NEVER have we been told we are out of their delivery area. As a matter of fact, our son went to school with several of the delivery boys and we always give them slices of pizza when they came. The man on the phone did not give us his name but said he was the owner. I checked the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and found that the Anthony's Pizza & Pasta operating at 119 W. Bridge St., Brighton, CO 80601 is non-compliant with their filing status with the State of Colorado and found this location is not in good standing. I checked all 49 registered Anthony's Pizza locations registered with DORA and this is the only registered Brighton location. The "gentleman" on the phone said we were out of his delivery area which is 8.0 miles. I pulled a Google map and we are, in fact, 7.8 miles from this location which would mean we ARE within their delivery range. I am disgusted at the service from Anthony's PIzza & Pasta in Brighton, Colorado on July 3, 2018 at approximately 6:30pm. No one would give me their name, we ARE located within their delivery area, the person claiming to be the owner was more than rude, the manager was rude, and they lied. I enjoy the food here but the trouble I just went through ordering over the phone with a coupon for delivery was ridiculous. I had a coupon for an 18" 2 topping pizza for $14.95. All I wanted was half pepperoni and half cheese. The girl on the phone was rude about it and said I HAD to order 2 toppings or the price was $16.95. I have only lived in Brighton a short amount of time so not sure on restraint hours yet. I wanted a calzone so I drove over to Anthony's around 9:30PM on a Thursday. I asked if they were open and the very polite young lady at the counter said they closed at 9 but they could still serve me. I did not want to put them out so I politely said I would come back tomorrow. She looked at me and said "no! it's ok we can make what you want". Not only did they take my order they allowed me to eat it there and told me to take my time. Can I tell you that made a big impact on me and one I had to share with friends. This is the closest thing I've had to NYC pizza since living outside of the city.The only thing that was different for me was the pepperoni was under a layer of cheese. I usually love this place. The pizza is great, but the deal was that the Brighton parade was going on and I ordered pizza at 630. I call 3 times and they say they are busy we had a parade yeah I know I was there and that was 2 hours ago. Rude girl over the phone so I requested the manager he was rude as well saying we told everyone over an hour which is not what I was told. I had guest at my house and we're waiting and all they can say is there was a parade and closed streets. I live 5 min away and there are no closed streets. Every person was ridiculous and rude to me and I was just wanting them to know the the lady was rude and that it's not okay. I won't go to this place anymore no matter how good there pizza is. I gave them another shot after my last negative experience, hoping it was just a bad day. I ordered online and picked up at my designated pick-up time. When I arrived the counter girl (very friendly& apologetic) said the web portal was malfunctioning again. It seems like this is a constant issue after reading other reviews. So, they had to run my card again, even though I had already paid online, and they hadn't even started my order yet. I specifically reminded them that my order said "light sauce" but my order was still made incorrectly. The counter staff was friendly but the system seems broken. The teenage guy standing in the open kitchen watching the dining room, eating a slice of pizza, then going back to doing his job, didn't make me feel like steps for cleanliness are taken seriously. Horrible experience. My husband picked up their sicilians and they were not cooked all the way. We called and brought them back in and they treated me like a criminal. They told me they didn't know what I did to the pizza. What does that mean? How do you uncook a pizza. lol Then they told me we already ate some of it. Uh, ya...we only had one piece each...just enough to figure out they were underdone. The rest was brought back to them. They refused to do anything about it. This used to be my favorite place HOWEVER, The service has gone downhill, I was given dirty looks and that's when I was FINALLY paid attention to. We went to get our drinks and out of all of the options on the coke freestyle machine there were only 7 JUST 7 Options that were filled and all of the flavors were out every single one. The pizza wasn't even cooked all of the way, my salad was literally frozen, every table that we tried to sit at was dirty so we wiped our own table and "swept" under the table with our feet. Mind you there was one other table of people and there were two girls sitting on their phones in the back that could have been wiping off tables. I was extremely disappointed with the flavorless food, rude service, dirty environment and lack of drinks, we will be finding a new pizza place. read more

Our go-to for pizza in all of metro area. This location is especially great with the friendliness of its staff and professionalism. I have never had a bad meal here and especially love the sicilian, if you would like a nice lunch grab a slice of it or if you like leftovers are real hungry or have a big group get a full sicilian. We ordered food at 6:45pm. They said it would take 45 minutes. We didn't get our food until. 8:00pm. The place was very dirty and all customers were upset about not getting their food on time. If you order food expect to wait a long time and have them get upset when you ask how much longer. The whole staff is very young and do not know how to run a busy restaurant. read more

Currently operating with random hours whenever the manager or owner or whoever feels like opening or not, changes daily, an employee turnover rate that's ridiculous (I've been informed that employees who give their 2 week notice are just fired on the spot for "disloyalty" (what???) doesn't answer phone anymore (voice mail box full), not open when they say they are (get someone on phone, told they're open, drive all the way to place order so it's ready after errands and it's all locked up with an empty parking lot 15 minutes after I called) and food quality that has gotten so bad compared to what it used to be - our last order about a month ago was essentially inedible. I took one bite of my usual calzone order and tossed the rest in the garbage. It was ice cold and the contents were slimy (and not at all what I ordered) and not worth calling back to inform them as I don't like being called names like last time when I dared tell them their salad was wilted since the lettuce has obviously been frozen. Used to be a go-to place for us. Finally we have more restaurants opening out near us so we have options. read more

I love the food here; we have enjoyed coming by and eating the fresh salads and the pizza is great. However, after the other night, my teenager with known food allergies had an allergic reaction. When I called the owner today to let him know about it, he was very defensive and insistent that could not an anyway be something that could of happened at his restaurant. Seeing as this was the only place he ate that day other than school 8 hours earlier, the doctors at the hospital had said this is where it must of happened. I was looking to inform him of the situation for him to take care of it, and was not planning on posting it, but since he was so defensive that his kitchen couldn't have caused it, I wanted to post a warning to other allergy sensitive people. Don't get me wrong, I like Anthony's Pizza and Pasta in general... just not the one in Brighton. Every time I have gone there recently, I always leave with a bad taste in my mouth and that's not from the food. The staff in back always seems to ruin the experience for me. Super loud, super obnoxious, so much so that I have yet to sit down and eat there because of it. Yes, I have gone there multiple times, like I said I like the food from there but not lately. I have gone to different Anthony's (the original on 16th and California, the one on 6th, the one on Hudson to name a few) but the one in Brighton just happens to have an off putting taste to it lately that I can't put my finger on it. When it was at it's original location in Brighton (in the Brighton Pavillons) the service and food was amazing! Now, they switched locations and owners and it hasn't been the same. Forget about getting food in a decent time.They are understaffed so it takes FOREVER to get food from them, especially on the weekends. They changed how they do someone of my favorites, the microwave their pasta, meatballs, and sausages now I feel that they should not advertise that all their food is fresh. It isn't. Their pies are huge, I give them that, but extremely expensive. If you want a supreme? You have to pay for each individual topping and it quickly adds up. (2.25 a topping I believe) and like I mentioned earlier that lately something has changed about the pies that I don't like as much as I used to. Could be that the crust is dry and hard, not the crispy on the outside, soft on the inside I'm used to from the other Anthony's. It could also be they are not as generous with their toppings as they used to. I barely get a fraction of what I used to to a long time ago. The remodeled store is a joke. The lost sitting just to put a closet(?) in the sight of their customers. In conclusion, if you want a great experience from an Anthony's go to the one on 6th in Denver (any other one really) and avoid the one in Brighton. read more

We went to this location on 12/9/18. As we were waiting for our food we asked the girl if there was any way we can get the channel changed to another game. She got the remote and I asked if I can see the remote to try and find the channel not realizing the game we were searching for was not on air. Billy charged over to our table snatch the remote from our hands saying the tv needs to remain on the channel is was on. I asked if he was a fan he stated NO! and walked away. The girl came back and apologized and said the game was not aired. That is all Billy had to say. I later found out Billy is the manager maybe even the owner. I am sorry but I will not eat here again. He has the worst customer service. If he is a so called owner he needs to learn how to treat his paying customers before he no longer has any. Billy is putting a bad name on Anthony's pizza. I know franchise owners are usually held to high standards however Billy is as low as it gets. I have read multiple reviews on google along with a neighborhood app and they are not good. 9 times out of 10 people are complaining about Billy. If Billy can treat customers that way what can or is he doing to our food when we are not looking? I am sorry Anythony's but as long as Billy is in charge we will not return and you have lost yet another customer. read more

The pizza itself is wonderful. Crispy crust, spicy tomato sauce, great cheese, great toppings. Getting it fresh out of the oven is a good reason to eat in. Except that the staff couldn't care less, the bathroom apparently hasn't been cleaned in months from the orange stuff crusted on the sink. Toddlers screaming and running through the dining room, and no one who works there can be bothered to wipe a table or two. I don't know what to say about this place.
