The atmosphere was relaxed but elevated, a great night out without feeling stuffy. I did the house salad, toasted ravioli and filet (get the mashed potatoes!). Though it was the restaurant week menu, I would've gladly ordered the same items any other day. For dessert, don't skip the roasted banana cheesecake and tiramisu. The salad that came before the meal was a joke. Served on a saucer sized plate and literally about 6 small leaves of lettuce. The balsamic dressing was very good, but the rest was not. Ordered the 6 oz filet and what I got were actually 2 small filet medallions that were lacking in flavor. Thank goodness I ordered them rare, or they surely would've been overcooked. I placed my order as such: I would like the Johnny's Stuffed Meatloaf with a house side salad. If the salad comes on top, I will send it back... What they served was two very tender meatloaf medallions stuffed with ricotta cheese, covered in a Cabernet demi glace, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. I never order meatloaf in a restaurant, and it's because I've yet to find anyone who has taken it as seriously as Johnny's. We ordered from their Happy Hour menu and were not disappointed. The quality of the food was unexpected in a really good way. Any restaurant attached to a hotel typically has mediocre food and cocktails. Not the case here. The Bang Bang Shrimp and Bang Bang Calamari were well seasoned and crispy. The steak skewer was tender and paired with a delicious sauce. Each appetizer was reasonably priced at $8.00. My only wish is that the skewer was a bit more substantial! So good. Classic mules, 20 oz draft beers, and house wines are $5.00. Their Happy Hour runs from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Would like to try a steak from their standard menu. This is our local absolute favorite place to go for good food and a friendly atmosphere. We usually go for happy hour for their great prices on appetizers and drinks. My favorites are the steak skewers and shrimp. Rickie is the best bartender ever. We enjoy talking to him. We go for dinner occasionally and those are great too. We went tonight and I had the cedar planked salmon and my husband had the lasagna. It was soooo good. I was taking my mom out for lunch for a pre-mother's day celebration and heard of this steakhouse so we thought we would give it a try. Its located adjacent to the Hilton Hotel. It is clean and classically decorated. We we went it was quiet, only a few tables filled and a small lively group at the bar. My mom ordered the 6oz Chubby Cut Top Sirloin Steak. But was actually charged the price of the 9oz. It came with bread that was warm and fluffy, a salad and she chose mash potatoes. She was happy with her dish. I ordered the Johnny's steak house burger with french fries. It was a large burger on a brioche bun with bacon, shoe-string onions, steak sauce, lettuce and tomato. It was a classic burger, cooked well with a plethora of fries. I had no complaints. We decided to splurge and have dessert. My mom had the Creme Brulee, which was creamy and the perfect crusted top that tasted like the campfire marshmallows. I ordered the Limoncello cake and was disappointed. It was bitter tasting from the limoncello, over cooked, dark in color on top and bottom making it dry and dense, to the point I couldn't eat more than a bit. The service was fine. Not much to say there. The server was polite but then again over charged us on the steak that contradicted the menu. Made reservations for a party of 10 for Mother's Day. Was super excited to try this establishment. When making the reservations they left out the fact that you could ONLY have the Buffet for Mother's Day and it was $55 per person.... FOR A BUFFET???? The food was just okay nothing horrible but not worth 55$$$$ They did try to make it right by taking off the cost of one meal... When it comes time to pay they can only take 4 different credit cards..when there was 5 couples...UGH!!! After 3 years we decided to come back for yet another date night. Bartender said "how can I help you?" Instead of "what can I get you to drink?" Made us feel really out of place, sure we're in our 30s and everyone else was at least 20-30 years older then us but wow were there to eat and drink like everyone else. We order a few beers, the bartender calls our Modelo "modeyos" multiple times trying to be funny but making things extremely awkward. We ordered the HH margarita flatbread and then the zucchini fries. Took about 20 minutes for both, they were just ok, nothing great but we were hungry, then put in our order with the female bartender (much more professional, easier to talk to and preferred her!) we got the chicken parm split with a side of mashed potatoes an then it comes with a salad and bread/butter. Took over 10 min for the salad and bread/butter and both just average. Then closer to 25 min for a split parm with lumpy mashed potatoes. It was rubbery, burnt and no flavor at all. Luckily our server was great and took off the $25 meal, but overall our experience was awful. Won't be back. Also, they were NOT busy at 5pm on a Friday, so the fact that things were just blah says a lot. We even noticed the people next to us decided not order their entrees after hearing our complaints too, glad we saved them the money and frustration. read more

This is one of our favorite places to go for an nice dinner. I see that a lot of the negative reviews are about how long everything takes but you need to expect that. This isn't a fast food restaurant. It's a nice Italian restaurant with multiple courses. We love it because we know we can sit and have a good time and not be rushed. We typically have the worst customer service anywhere we go except for this restaurant. We've been here a handful of times and every single time we've had an amazing waiter or waitress. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. The food is really really good and we've never had issues with any of that either. We were excited to eat the food. When the delivery came, my wife's entree and salad were not in the bag. Very frustrating. Tried to call the restaurant, and the phone just rang and rang.
