In addition to our favorite mussels & squash blossoms, the giant meatball was delish, those fresh anchovies on the Caesar are all the rage! Loved the caffé caramel gelato to finish things off. The atmosphere is intimate but friendly. Never fails that we strike up a conversation with those around us. I also spy what they're eating and learn about new dishes to try on a return visit (composed oyster it is!).

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

I opted for the chicken lettuce wraps. One gal got the fish and clam chowder combo and the last gal got a cup of the soup of the day which was beef barley soup and a Caesar salad. Brian was our server and did a good job handling 5 women and all our requests. Everyone enjoyed their meals and most of us had food to take home. All in all it was a lovely lunch and just happened to be a lovely day weather wise which was nice because we had a table facing the water. A great lunch spot if you've never been. Thank you everyone for making us all happy.

In the off season it's a local joint with a large bar and Keno games. I was told in the summer it's packed. Four of us arrived for lunch and were quickly seated by the windows for a great water view. The seafood selections caught our eye as we were meeting friends at an Italian restaurant for dinner. Plus one ordered a lobster roll and it did not disappoint. It was not some lame over Mayoed roll stuffed in a hot dog roll but a very generous pile of claw meat on a bed of lettuce. I don't think she ever got down to the roll, if any. My lobster pie was baked with a more than a generous amount of lobster and breadcrumbs seasoned perfectly. I did enjoy their coleslaw and side veggies. A dining companion ordered baked stuffed shrimp and they were jumbo shrimp topped with the same stuffing as my Lob pie. There is a full bar and TVs galore. Service was prompt and friendly. Easy 5-star review.

When we arrived just before 7 the restaurant was busy not not full. Our server, as he passed our table, said he would be right with us. We waited. And waited. And patiently. Because I could see our server. He was at a table of 7 and I knew he wasn't forgetting or ignoring us. Then he was at a table of 4. Then one of 5. Then ANOTHER that appeared to be about 7 people again. He also had at least 4 two tops. I couldn't see far enough behind me to expand on that count. When he did come to us, an undisclosed amount of time later, he was kind and thorough and not at all showing the stress I'm sure he was feeling. I saw only one other server the entire time we were there and I'm sure he was taking all of the tables in the dining room we couldn't see. I'm sorry I cannot remember our servers name. Both men were bald and one was wearing glasses. Ours was the one without the spectacles. He remained busy through our meal, and we enjoyed the entire thing. Burrata with prosciutto to start, and then a Wellington to split. Both were phenomenal. The drinks were amazing, even with accommodations for one ingredient I am allergic to. At one point one of our cocktail glasses was broken accidentally by someone not at our table and it felt like the entire FOH staff (all 5 of them lol) came to help clean up and make sure everything was cool. They were all so kind and had smiles on, even though I'm sure they were still too swamped to clean up the mess. Honestly, for our very first visit I'm sure I could have been upset at the wait and complained that our server was too busy, but erring on the side of caution I prefer to presume it was either an unusually busy night or someone had called out, leaving the restaurant short -staffed. Kudos to the whole team for working together and keeping positive attitudes on the floor. We loved our experience and look forward to returning.
