I absolutely love all the hippie crap you find at Anthropologie, and I mean that in the best way possible. Their bohemian vibe is what will always draw me into their stores even if 9 times out of 10 I always walk out empty handed because their prices are so high. Every now and again I do manage to get a little something, and its usually when they have either their midyear summer sale or the new years sale where you get an additional 50 percent off their already discounted items. I've actually gotten a lot of things that aren't clothes like body spray, hair accessories, dinnerware, candles, and actually; one of the best Thai cookbooks I own I bought at this store for 10 bucks on clearance. People at this store particularly are very friendly. It's clean and well kept as well. read more

Anthropologie of Westfarms is a beautifully styled store, of women's quality items and home pieces. This store isn't as elaborately styled as some stand alone Anthropologie stores that aren't a part of a mall. As soon as I walk inside I'll notice beautiful dresses, that might be off the shoulder or backless, in the most stunning fabrics, colors and prints. Their home section offers some beautiful pieces that any host would be thrilled to receive as a gift. The mugs, glasses, dish towels, aprons, and candles are all great examples of those gift giving appropriate items. With holidays or seasons you'll find the fitting decor. I've always been impressed with the wide variety of Christmas ornaments, and the intricate detail that adorns each one. The one big drawback is the cost. Anthropologie is high end. However, currently during their 40% off sale, it might be a good time to check out the sale section. read more

First time ever in this store, and I was blown away! I do coffee content videos, and had to get the viral Christmas juice glasses, since I missed out on the Halloween ones. They were well stocked on what I wanted. The store is clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. A lot of unique and beautiful holiday items. We were on a time constraint, so we couldn't fully appreciate the whole store. Most definitely going back later in the week, cause we had our eyes on a few items! read more

I will never shop at West Farms Anthro again. I always have all eyes on me by the floor reps, but I ignored them because I know I have just as much right as anyone else to shop there. Plus I have been shopping in Anthro for over 20 years before CT even heard of Anthropologie. What was appalling was the behavior of the fitting room attendant. I told her how many items I had but she proceeded to count them any way and continued looking at the items as she walked backwards out of the room. I heard her help someone else and open a room for them and she told them to let her know if they needed anything. I asked her to bring an item I saw hanging in the fitting area. She didn't get it until I asked her again to get it and she informed me that she had been helping another customer. All she did was nicely put them in a room, and didn't count their items or anyone else's items. When she finally came back with the shorts she announced loudly in the dressing room that it was the largest size instead of just saying let me know if you need anything else. I ignored her size comment and gave her all the clothes I had tried on at that point. I asked her to bring me a brown belt for pants and once again she brought me 3 belts but let me know I could try the largest belt. After I tried the clothes on I brought everything I had left to her. I let her know she didn't have to worry I didn't steal anything and that I'm an Anthro member and had been shopping for years at Anthropologie. She of course acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, but made sure to talk to the other floor reps. They in turn all rushed around the store talking about me and staring at me while they did it. I stood at the register watching them all whisper and then stare at me. I approached one of the managers and told her I knew they were talking about me and she denied it at first, then turned around and admitted it and said they were trying to figure out who had the problem. They knew exactly who it was because everyone stared at me and they weren't looking around. There were only like two other people in the store and they were in the sales room. Not one of the 5 managers approached me to ask me if my experience had been pleasant or ask me what had happened. They stood around talking about me and staring. I have tolerated a lot from that store over the 12 years I have lived in CT. I won't go there again, and maybe it's time to shop some where other than only Anthropologie. read more

Me and my family love Anthropologie and we've been customers forever!! every time we go we spend good amount of money and maybe thats why I am so disappointed. This time I went to buy only a mask because the masks there are very comfortable. Unfortunately I felt forced to write this review to complain about the horrible customer service and bad attitude from the cashier. She treated me literally like I was a piece of sh&$... Lol I am literally still in shock. After today I don't think I'll recommend anybody to go back to the westfarms mall location. If it helps it was on a Saturday around 6:30pm! read more

I come down with a bad case of the crazy eyes every time I enter (or so much as pass) Anthropologie. I want everything, I NEED everything, and I leave penniless and gleeful. Danger zone is an understatement. This store is a wonderful addition to the West Farms Mall. As with all Anthropologies, it's beautifully laid out, decor is simply stunning, and the merchandise wavers between classy and funky. I haven't had any bad customer service experiences here, but I usually try to find what I'm looking for without engaging much with the staff. Although today I did buy a French macaron cookbook and the salesgal who rang me up was simply DELIGHTFUL. I'm a sucker for bonding with folks over food - you all know that. Anyway. Clothes, housewares, jewelry - and now the occasional cookbook. I run wild in this store. And I love it. 5 stars for the store - minus one because it's expensive as hell. You'll likely find me haunting the sale section. read more

Thank you so much to the girls at this store! I searched high and low for an Elevenses ruffle trench coat that I absolutely fell in love with but could not find in a store near me. My local anthro told me this store had the coat in question in my size and color preference but I live in MA. I called the store and was able to purchase the coat over the phone and have it mailed to me in 3 business days. You girls are angels! I love Anthropologie and their storefront. It is unique compared to all of the other mall store fronts because of its design and architecture. I also love the way Anthropologie always decorates their store. It feels organic urban chic with a touch of hippie yuppie boho. Their sale section was larger than the Anthropologie that I have been to in California and in Arkansas and I was able to find some nice coats and shirts that I liked. The only thing that made me minus a star is the price. It's expensive and even the on sale clothes are budget breaking for me. read more

I love Anthropologie, I have been to Anthro stores all over the country, have been a loyal Anthro card holder since 2007. This store is terrible. The customer service which is what makes this place so awesome is the worst. These girls are so rude, they don't want to help you or check their backstock, they just can't be bothered to look for a different size, or tell you where you can find what you are looking for. They don't tell you their name when you go into the dressing room (usually at an Anthro store when you get into the dressing room whoever is there will say "My name is ........let me know if I can get you anything") but not here. The store was really crowded and difficult to navigate, things were scattered around (for example not all sale items were in the same area). But by far the worst part about this Anthro store is the BAD customer service. If you are going to charge someone $150 for a sweater you better greet them with a smile and make sure you try to help them find sizes, colors, whatever! Maybe these ladies should go to Reform School for some manners! read more

I just had a great experience with customer service at this store and wanted to offer a counterpoint to the review below. I called from Washington, DC to try to track down a purse I've had my eye on for months, and spoke with Jared. Although they didn't have the purse in stock, he called around to other area stores, gave me advice on whether to order the purse, backordered, from the web, and was able to find the purse (on sale!) and put me in touch with a store that had it and would be able to ship it out to me. Jared was patient, pleasant and helpful, and thanks to him I'll be getting a great purse at a great price - I'm super excited! read more
