Friendly and quick service, and a bright and clean atmosphere! Antoine's has a great reputation and I'm glad to have tried a few of their cookies while visiting Palo Alto. They are served fresh and warm, and each cookie was great! My favorite was the cookies and cream, but the oatmeal chocolate chip was a close second. I do wish they had some more adventurous flavors, but it was enjoyable nonetheless!

I live in south San Jose and drove here twice in one week to get cookies! I personally like the thinner, soft, with a touch of chewy textured cookies and this place checks all the boxes. My husband's work friend is close friends with the owner, and he would talk about how good the cookies were. I finally got to try them and I'm hooked! I've only been to the Palo Alto location. It's a small shop with a tight entrance/cashier area. I think there was only a small round table with 2 chairs for a sitting option. Service was simple. Our cashier was very patient with our parents asking a bunch of questions lol. Bottom line: My go-to cookie spot!

They have the walnut chip at the end of the list of popularity but that is my favorite and highly recommend trying it. It's the reason I come back once a week. Plus I got a few extra just for fun

Cookies are a decent size for the price. They're good but not the most aesthetic lol. Had the dark chocolate, cookies and cream and toffee.

Over the years, I've had cookies from Antoine's a bunch of times, from the shop directly and at various events. Every time, they've been great - fresh, baked to perfection, and delicious! I've specifically tried the Cookies and Cream, Snickerdoodle, Toffee, Chocolate Chunk and there hasn't been one bad cookie in the bunch. Looking forward to the next time I get an Antoine's cookie!

There is no frills or anything cutesy about this place. It's plain with just the cookie racks... and you know what, that's all there needs to be! The taste and quality of the cookies speaks for themselves. Order: Chocolate chip Dark chocolate chip Honeycomb Peanut buttercup Cookies n cream Snickerdoodle Each one is so delicious This wouldn't be a regular visit because the price/cookie is umm $2.70; however, it is a one in awhile treat for sure and a worthy one at that.

Stopping in at Antoine's is always a must when I see one. I had no idea a location opened up at Town and Country in Palo Alto. I frequent the San Mateo location often and have used their cookies as party favors for many celebrations. I owe myself a pat on the back as on this visit, I only got two cookies, a snickerdoodle and a honeycomb. I don't usually leave Antoine's with anything less than a baker's dozen! The store was empty when I went in so service was speedy and friendly. This location is pretty small, just like the SM location. Their cookies are always on hit.

Cute cookie bakery at Town & Country. Nice cookie assortment and the cookies are delicious. My favorite was the snickerdoodle. Crisp edges, pillowy texture, and just the right amount of cinnamon. They have a lot of cookie flavors to choose from - chocolate chip to a very tasty honeycomb flavor. It looked like a popular bakery for DoorDash. Service was good, not overly nice, but professional.

The best cookie shop. My go to place when someone asks me to bring desserts. Everyone loves them and they get eaten sooo quickly. I got two of the baker's dozen for a friends party and people kept saying how amazing the cookies are. Soft center and a crispy edge. My favorite flavors are the cookies and cream and toffee. They even sell day old cookies. Usually they are sold out by the time I get there. Luckily, I went to the store in the morning and they still had some. Such a good deal so definitely snag them.

Cookies don't get better than this. There's almost never a wait, too. Honeycomb and cookies & cream have been my favorite.

Everything was beautifully presented. The workers were friendly too! Their items were a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Their spiral croissants were so much better than Fancy Flavors. It was flaky, buttery, and filled with delicious pistachio cream. This spot is especially great for more traditional flavors. The Anton Hokkaido Milk Crepe Cake wasn't overly sweet and the cream was light and fluffy. It was perfectly up to my standards when it comes to sweetness. I'd definitely come back again even if I'm willing to hurt my wallet because the sweets are just too hard to resist.

My family and I stopped by Marvel Cake during Mother's Day for a sweet treat on Sunday. This location is in the strip of Downtown Palo Alto and has limited parking (similar to the rest of the stores there, there is a lot of parking, and you will need to get lucky). My mom does like the Marvel Cake in their first location, so we swung by here to try this one out! Location-wise, this is a smaller shop than the original one in West San Jose with limited seating inside. I would say it's not work from home friendly however, I did see a college student next to me on her laptop so maybe I am incorrect here! The interior is nice and light, matching the elegance of the desserts. We ordered three items on the menu: the pillow cake, the bisou, and the blueberry lavender roll. Here are some thoughts: * Pillowcase cake: It may seem like this would be a fluffy cake due to the nature of its shape, but it is a gelatinous Jell-O cake with fruit jam. It was not bad, and tasted refreshing and light. I didn't know if I liked it at first, but ultimately I did come back for seconds and thirds, so this is approved. * Blueberry lavender roll cake: This was not at all what we were expecting. I did not taste any lavender, nor did it have a strong blueberry flavor. I think what threw our party off was the layer of gelatin that surrounded the cake. Texturally, we were not a big fan. * Bisou: This one was our favorite one. I appreciated the nutty crust in the bottom layer of the cake, while the filling was soft and bouncy. It is very sweet, however, but overall, I really enjoyed this one and feel like it would go great with a cup of coffee. What made the experience here a 3 instead of a 4 or 5 was the service we got. We weren't greeted when we came in, which, to be fair, is totally fine, maybe they were busy. However, the person helping us stared at us the whole time and did not really communicate well with us. When I tried to order the cakes for my family, they looked bothered that we were there, and I was not sure if they understood what pastries I was ordering because they did not repeat it back to us at all or confirm anything. When I did place the order, they slowly grabbed the plates and looked visually confused, which again, if they wanted to, I could have repeated it back to them. After they gathered everything, they put it in front of us and rang me up. The whole time, they did not say a word to me at all. Did not reconfirm anything, did not acknowledge we were there, did not say thank you. It was a bit strange, and I had to check with my family if it was me or if that was a really weird experience (it wasn't me).

We always ask for a table with chairs because I have back problems and can't sit in their totally worn booths and the host has never had a problem with that request. But yesterday the regular host wasn't there and we were told they were busy and we had to sit at the counter or in a booth because they didn't want to put us the two of us at a table for four (there were two tables available). We waited for nearly ten minutes and when I asked again if we could sit at one of the tables was almost rudely told no, they were busy. So we left and went to Joanie's on California Avenue. They were also busy but immediately seated us and we had a much better lunch. Sometimes it's good to change things up as we'd forgotten how kind and attentive all the of the staff are at Joanie's and how much better the food was. And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.
