The food is good BUT just like many others have said before me, the front of house staff, especially the owner who is an old skinny man with gray hair, is VERY VERY RUDE. I get that they are busy and are in a hurry, but that doesn't give them the right to talk to their customers like they do. He probably gets away with it because he's one of the only pizza shops in the area but that is going to bite him in the ass one day. I meet with a large group of people in that area every few months and we have been buying our pizzas there, LARGE ORDERS. But after the way he barked at me today, no way, we will be taking our money elsewhere. And its a shame because you see how hard the rest of the staff are working, then you have this @sshole working the counter being a total JERK to people who want to put money in HIS POCKETS!!! Its crazy!!!!!!!!! Also, don't bother asking or paying for extra, you won't get it. Today was my third time asking for extra cheese on my pizza and they will always only give you the very minimum, no matter how much you're willing to shell out. This place was awful. There were so many flies inside, bothering us, trying to land on our food. It was disgusting. I'm not talking about 2-3. More like twenty (and you can see dead flies on things). I doubt it's sanitary. The food had no taste. The slices of pizza had a red sauce but I doubt any fresh tomatoes. I ordered a steak & cheese grinder. Sports radio is on as background noise during the day and Antonio's II produces some witty commercials. In hearing them so much, our party of 2 decided to take the 1/2 hour drive for a slice. The appearance could use an update, but that doesn't stop us, some dives have great food. We ordered and received our food. The cheese quality wasn't fantastic, the slice was very thick and heavy. Had 12" inch chicken parm grinder toasted to go to eat at home. It was tasty, good, sauce but was not toasted( it felt warm because it was on top of the oven but not toasted.) I am having a GREAT time and I am just talking about standing in line.I wanted whatever the guy working here was having, and share it with the world. He had a dose of love for his business, and I went along for the ride, and food. The BYO pizza slice is always a fan favorite, because you can get those toppings like artichokes that nobody else loves. I also enjoyed the beer options, and was glad to sit outside after a hiking day with my pup and eat. Very few places allow dogs, even outdoors, so happiness was multiplied. The crust though, perhaps the worst part of this nightmare of a pizza place. we went there last night not expecting a lot. What we got was just great! I had the eggplant parm and my husband had the lasagna. Both were excellent. The pizza is very greasy and the crust so thin you can't eat it with your hands as the toppings, and a bunch of the grease, slide off and land up all over your fingers. It's hard to get a basic like pizza wrong but they do. read more

Not exactly sure who this guy thinks he is... The guy taking orders over the phone? He was extremely rude and impatient! I read the reviews, made SURE I had all of our order details ready. It was the fact that he needed my call back number in order to put the order on a credit card. I started listing off my phone number beginning with the area code and waited for him to either repeat the number or say, "Okay." Instead he yelled at me, "COME ON! Come on! I don't have all day!" He then proceeded to explain, in a very harsh tone, further wasting his own time, as to why I shouldn't take so long ordering! What is the matter with this guy? Stopped here to get a quick bite with some friends. They asked if we wanted to dine in or eat to go, I said to go because it would just be easier to grab. We waited a while so when they brought us the food we just figured we'd eat where we were sitting (restaurant was pretty much empty with a few others sitting at booths). So we were almost finished with our meal and then some guy in a green shirt said "Do you guys not know what to go means, it means to GO!" It was very demeaning and rude for no reason. We were allowed to sit inside so I'm not sure why it was that big of a deal, I thought we'd be doing a favor by not having any dishes to clean. Every other pizza place in this area serves the same greasy Greek styled pizza. From Brattleboro through Greenfield, it's always the same thing. That's why my friends and I LOVE Antonio's. It's the only pizza in the upper Valley area that's unique. Their large cheese pizza is the best in the upper Valley area. My dad and brother usually get the 'MeisterBurger' which has bacon, mushroom, swiss cheese and hamburg. My sister and I often get the 'Stroll Thru The Garden' which has tomato, spinich, eggplant, artichoke hearts and broccoli. Sometimes mom will bring home the 'Mediterranean' which we all enjoy. The Mediterranean has pesto, spinach, roasted red peppers, black olives and feta cheese. The subs are awesome too!!!! We gotten the cheeseburger one, pastrami, ham and cheese and the big ol' steak and cheese. Foot longs are $5.50 if they're hot or $5.00 cold. They also have 6 inch sizes for $3.25 and $3.00 They don't take credit cards, but I don't have one anyway.... Nor do my friends. My mother does, but we usually go here on the way to and from something and she pays with cash. They have video games and a tv. My boyfriend plays the games when we go. It's the best and most unique pizza in the area. Friendly staff, subs, pizza, games. I recommend it highly. read more

This is by far the best pizza in the tri-state area. I drive 25 miles one way to get their pizza and the whole family are Antonio's fans. I have converted many a pizza affection-ado to their pie and the Monster Pizza is the best deal a hungry family of 6 + could get. The crust is fresh and cooked to perfection, the sauce is second to none and the toppings.... Bella Mia! Just don't piss off Clayton and you will be in Pizza Heaven. 3 times I've ordered pizza from here, and all 3 instances were extremely disappointing. For what you pay for a large specialty pizza, you'd think it would be better. Firstly: you don't put marinara on pizza in lieu of pizza sauce. Marinara is for mozzarella sticks or pasta. Second: proper cheese blend is important. It seems the folks at Antonio's II believe that Mozzarella is the only thing that goes on pizza. You need to blend it with at least 20% cheddar for some flavor. Third: COOK YOUR PIZZA!! All 3 times I got one of their pies, the cheese was melted.... no color to it at all, which added to its lack of flavor. The cheese on these pies should have a nice golden color coming out of the oven, not the looks of just melted Mozzarella in a ring of pie crust. The color is that of a fishes belly, and it's not even stringy when you eat it. To top it off, it always arrived cold when delivered.... I work 8 minutes away. Do not recommend Antonio's II. One of the only local places to get ITALIAN pizza, instead of Greek pizza which we have surrounding us (which is also delicious, it's just different.) RUDEST, most condescending douchebag I've ever dealt with in a business. I called in our order, where I was unnecessarily and rudely corrected for calling the smallest size pizza a "small." He bit my head off and said "it's a 14" pizza!!" Uh, ok, whatever bruh. It's your smallest pizza. He cut me off so many times while ordering I forgot to add a salad so unfortunately had to call back. That was fun. How dare I!? At the end of the call I was told and I quote "it will be ready in 45 minutes! LISTEN TO MY WORDS!!! 45 MINUTES! 4-5!!" Needless to say I sent my husband in because if I had gone in he and his customers would have heard exactly what I thought of him and it most likely would have resulted in the police being called..on me! I really don't now what others are thinking. It's quite possibly the worst pizza in the area. When the owner answers the phone it's abrupt and cold. Seems he wants nothing to do with phone orders. A close friend and I ordered food one night and he was out sick the next day (still won't go back there). Pizza crust tastes like cardboard and the sauce is watery and bland. There's really nothing to like. I've also ordered grinders and twice when I ordered hot grinders the meat was cold and the bun was scorching. They literally make the sandwich cold, throw cheese and/or sauce on it, and throw it in the oven until the cheese melts... I'm not one to write bad reviews but I've given them more than enough of my time and money, only to be disappointed every time. For a better slice, go up the road to Hillside Pizza or Greenfield has a great place called Magpie (brick oven style!) Sorry Antonio's...I know you get a lot of good press but not from me. 9/25/15 I have to add more to my previous review. This place not only lacks taste but also good customer service. If I could rate this place a negative 10 I would sadly I have to give it 1 star which is wildly absurd. This pizza is tasteless and is hard to bite through, much like cardboard with shitty canned tomato paste. I ordered a bacon pineapple pizza which even from dominos is very flavorful. This pizza was atrocious. Even the pineapple was bland. How is that possible?!!! Not to mention the complete A hole who took my order like he's doing me a favor and couldn't be bothered with me.
