Wanted to patronize a long standing local business while visiting my home town but was a little disappointed. The cheese pizza was great, fluffy dough and well seasoned sauce but the veggie pizza tasted like frozen spinach on top and the dough can become soggy and wet. I was also bummed I ordered an eggplant parm sub with vodka sauce which they upcharged $3 and then put a drop of sauce. Dryyyy sub was a major disappointment. Eggplant was thin and crispy breading. Best calamari ever! We had a wonderful time here. Seven people gathering together to catch up and n things while enjoying a meal. The food was excellent and nobody rushed us. We sat and talked for two hours. It's hard to find a restaurant that allows its patrons that kind of courtesy. Let bed the wings and cheesesteak sandwich. Portions are huge. We all left with leftovers. Did I mention that the calamari was wonderful? Yum. Will definitely be back. read more

This is for Port Ewen location. Ordered a Mix Sub, simple I would think. As soon as I picked up the Sub in the box it felt very light for a Sub. Got home and opened box and I saw the thinnest Sub I ever had. The Sub bread was great and mixed meats also, just not enough. Added dressing and some more cheese. Got a pizza the week before that we liked. Will try again. First and last time for me. read more

Always delicious food here. Portion size is very very good for the amount of money that it cost. I got the lasagna dinner with a side of Meatballs, it comes with a salad and garlic bread. My wife got the chicken cordon bleu which also comes with the salad and the garlic bread. 2 liters of soda, and all together our dinner was under $40. I recommend this place to anyone in the area whether, you live here or are just visiting. read more

I am a huge fan of the pizza! It is my go to spot. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I recommend giving them a try.

I've been here a number of times and I must admit, their pizza and other menu items are delicious! However, that all falls by the wayside when I see them handling the person's money in front of me, and then handling food with those same unsanitized, unwashed hands. And then say that this is how they do it! I spoke to the owner the next day who said they are not supposed to be touching good with their hands. They are supposed to be using paddles and spatulas. The server from the night before said "this is how we always do it" and called another employee over to verify. I'm giving three stars because perhaps the owner will re-educate his staff. He said he will. And the pizza really is delicious. But I won't be going back. I don't trust a place that actually has more than one employee saying touching the food is normal. read more

For a pizzeria they have decent, good food. But let's talk about their pizza! I've had a few experiences there before with not getting an adequate amount of toppings on my pizza so I decided to express this the next time I ordered pizza. I asked them to please make sure I got what I was paying for and they got defensive. Really? Stop making excuses and saying I am the first one to say this. I wasn't nasty at all when I was trying to explain this to them. How about an apology or something resembling one? It's called good CUSTOMER SERVICE! Never gone wrong here and the price is always right for the 1980s. Lots of seating as most orders seem to be for eating elsewhere; never a long wait for your food. They also somehow have a knack for always having an interesting sporting event on TV, no matter the time of day. Though watching the Mets isn't always good for my appetite. read more

Delicious pizza and garlic knots! Had the bbq chicken pizza loaded with chicken! Honey bbq wings and white pizza. All fantastic!

Called at about 7:00 Saturday night to order a small pizza with a couple of toppings to pick up. They were extremely short and impolite on the phone, which I assumed was because they were very busy. When I arrived, 30 minutes later, the only people in the place were the 3 people working, and one guy drinking a beer at the bar! They generally made me feel that I was an unwelcome intruder. I ordered a small pizza, but they made, and charged me for a large. The crust was thick and bready, the pizza bland. Half of the bottom was burnt. ( I appreciate a bold bake and leopard spotted crust, but this was burned over half of it). So: hospitality was poor, accuracy was poor, and food is poor. Do not go here, get pizza somewhere else, and allow capitalistic Darwinism weed these amateurs out of business. read more

Have ordered pizza and wings here several times strictly because it is the closest pizza joint to where i live. 2 big complaints about the place are: Totally skimp on toppings. Recently got a Hawaiian pizza and I think there were 9 chunks of pineapple on the pizza. It sucks when you are paying $1.75 extra per topping to see such a lacking quantity. With their chicken wings they give carrot sticks instead of celery. I know, not the end of the world, but come on, we're in NY, give me some celery with my wings! We ordered the family special which is a salad, 12 wings, a large pie, and a 2 liter soda for $22. A great deal. The salad was pretty average but the wings and the pie were delicious, hot, freshly prepared, and super tasty. The wings came with a large container of blue cheese dressing. Even my husband said it was legit! The tomato sauce that they use is sweet and savory and great. I live in NYC during the week and this pizza really hit the spot. Not a super fancy place but the servers were all family members and super nice. Lots of families and locals coming in to order to go. Lastly the pizza was fast! We were in and out within 30 minutes which was perfect and easy. Only 1 star deducted for non inspiring salad...but for $22 bucks what do you expect. Will definitely go back. read more

Great pizza! Hot, fresh, with tasty sauce! Sandwiches are good. Dinners are excellent with garlic bread! Friendly service! They have another shop in Hurley, NY, which doesn't offer Chicken Francese or Marsala, but the chicken parm is good. I'd say this and Vincenzo's in Kingston are the best pizza in the area. read more

I can't say how the pizza is but the entrees are great. I ordered to go and they had nerve to try and charge me 50 cents each for garlic powder, parm cheese and crushed red pepper. Come on. That is unacceptable as I can sit down at a table and use all the condiments I want. I can also open my togo food and got to the table and load it on. This is an Italian restaurant and these three condiments are an automatic. Stop being cheep. It's the cost of doing business..if u want to save some costs take either. A piece of chicken away as its too big, the salad or the bread away and no on e would know. Theae types of things out of principle make me not go back to places no matter how the food is. Best pizza in town ! Wait they are the only pizza in town. They were 5 star when they started out. Each year it seems you get less and less with the toppings. I've even resorted to ordering x-tra chees just so I get some cheese. I still get quite a few pizzas here only because I live nearby. When I want a great pizza, I drive the 8 miles over to Benny's Pizzeria in Stone Ridge. read more
