Fish - my girlfriend got
Sir Eats Alot S.

Moms spinach pie was absolutely delightful. The lady got some fish Idk she loved it and still talking about it . ( I'm not into fish personally so I'll take her word on it ) Imo - The pizza was ok. Def not the shining star - The ice cream cake was a goddamn slam dunk - Divine and delicious . I eagerly await another piece sometime in the future . The real winner here is the owners reply to the 1 star reviews - which I read in their entirety . Could be a stand up routine for sure . The points made by them are All valid and they defend this place with All the love and intelligence that goes into making such an establishment fantastic to begin with . I applaud them and thank them. Return . Oh boy will I ! Can't wait Would have only gotten 4 start due to pizza ( I am a hard critic when it comes to my pies ) But the yelp reviews were more entertaining then any band I've seen in awhile and therefore well deserving of the 5 stars .

Antonio's restaurant had a great vibe with an eclectic decor that gave us plenty to take in. The staff was friendly, and the service was impressively fast. While we were expecting more of a classic diner-style menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available. The food was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. A great place to bring kids! My apologies, I wrote this review in the car (in the dark) on the way home and accidentally selected 3 stars instead of 4.

Comfy booths.

Had lunch here and it was a very good experience all around. Interesting decor with many antique toys, and other items. Also several very nice aquariums! Service was prompt and friendly. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. Will be back for sure.

Antonio's does a terrific Turkey club with steak fries!

I stopped in this afternoon because I was hungry for a chili dog platter. For $8.25 you get two chili dogs and a pile of incredibly good steak fries. I order from Antonio's all the time usually getting a fantastic turkey club sandwich with steak fries but this afternoon I decided to go with the chili dogs. Great dogs piled high with terrific chili really great meal for a great price.

Nothing like the vintage atmosphere of this restaurant. So much to look at. Decorated now for the holiday. A real family place. The service was amazing and the food was delicious and cooked as ordered. I had the Haddock fish and chips and my husband ordered a calzone. This is a fun place to eat. It will bring you back to your childhood. This is a must try.

Best place to have a family dinner with kids! Perfect for after a game! Tonight was crazy busy because of all the youth sports openers but Antonio's always delivers with great food, fun atmosphere, and amazing service!

Just had the most delicious crab cakes and a side of their homemade coleslaw. Plus, the staff at Antonio's is always friendly and attentive to make sure each customer is well taken care of.

One of the best ice cream places around for its unique flavors and a good "new location"…read more I've been a fan of their Ice cream since their old spot in Granby. I always enjoy the blood orange chocolate chip and seeing what unique flavors are concocted (geranium, key lime cheesecake, pomegranate). It's pretty pricey for what you get (1 scoop, 1.5 scoops and onward) and my scoop today was rather small. They also sell pints for $8 which is a better deal. Samples are a must because of all the options. Disappointed that they don't make ice cream cakes anymore, especially because J Foster's just isn't as good. Located near the Coffee Spot, library and Fitzgeralds, it has parking around the back or on the street.

Place is on a road with lots of shopping options. Parked outside while the missus ordered dinner. Wait was going to be a little while, so I went inside to get an ice cream appetizer. They have lots of unique ice cream flavors, but opted for the boysenberry jasmine because it was the weirdest one that I thought she would enjoy. The ice cream was a little icy but the scoop was a good size and the boysenberry was not overly tart. It was like a nice light tea as an ice cream. Quite pleasant, The food was okay. I appreciate the crust on the grilled cheese, the dedication to using straight up American cheese, and the bread choice. They need. Mozzarella or provolone option so one can get those epic cheese pulls. Also they need to use a sharper cheese to increase that cheese flavor. The Asian tacos were very wet, chicken was not seasoned and the veggies were fresh but lacked seasoning. It was a fine taco, but no flavor. The veggie bahn mi, much more seasoning on the veggies here than the veggies in the taco. We took those veggies out of the bahn mi and subbed them into the Asian tacos to give it more flavor. That worked. The bread was this artisan roll with a crispy outside but soft inside. A better bahn mi than other places, but the bread needs to be more akin to a hoagie roll rather than an artisanal sandwich roll. As a food location, I put them on par with other ice cream shops that offer food. They usually don't do the food that great, but they excel at ice cream. They got lots of interesting ice cream flavors to try, and they are on par with pricing for the area. Come here for a sweet treat, probably ignore the food options, and enjoy!

We dined here yesterday evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had never been and made…read morereservations to sit on the bridge. Pretty area but I was honestly thinking it was going to be more quaint and romantic. It was not. The area is somewhat narrow which makes tables spaced close together and it's really not that private. But the space is nicely decorated and if you sit on the right side (which we did), you're right in front of the waterfall. I would try the dining room next time just to compare. Our server Anthony was professional, kind of and accommodating. We started with cocktails - I had a creative gin drink called Dot Dot Dot. My husband loved his Old Fashioned - he meant to ask what type of bourbon they used because he thought it was very good. With the tasting menu - many of the options apparently change regularly though based off other reviews it appears there may be similar options from time to time. We started with their Johnny Cakes which the waiter said the restaurant is known for. Another reviewer ranked them a 7.5/10 and I couldn't disagree more. They were one of the tastiest bites I've eaten in a while. Crispy, buttery and divine. I thought they were to die for. Served with creamy honey sesame butter which was also delicious. My husband doesn't eat fish so for his amuse bouche he had a little puff served with cheese, that was amazing. For his first course - he had the Ricotta Raviolis. They were as beautiful as they were delicious. My amuse bouche was a tuna tartare that was a perfectly balanced bite. I had the Tapioca custard as my first course. The bacon was a bit too smokey for my taste and overpowered the dish in my opinion. It could have used a bit more liquid but it was a unique few bites. For our mains, my husband's porcini risotto was rich, creamy, and full of earthy flavor. I had the bass with cauliflowerini, golden raisin-caper gremolata, Marcona almonds, and a cauliflower purée--thoughtfully composed and very flavorful. The final savory course was a crispy duck breast with port-poached pear, port reduction, and sweet potato purée, which was beautifully executed. Dessert was a pomegranate pavlova--crisp on the outside with that perfect soft, marshmallowy center. A delightful finish to the meal. Overall, the dishes were not only delicious but also thoughtfully composed and visually striking. It made for a memorable experience, and we're already looking forward to coming back--maybe in a different season to see how the menu evolves.

We were the only ones in the restaurant today at lunch. Our food was promptly served and my mom really enjoyed her Miguel's Tacos, however my chicken enchiladas left a lot to be desired. They were smothered with cheese that tasted like plastic. The sauce tasted like watered down tomato paste. The meal didn't taste right and the visual of the cheese piled up on the side of my plate made me feel queasy. It was even sunken into my beans. My gut was telling me to just stop eating altogether.. On top of this, our waiter, Juan, never came by to ask how we were doing or to fill our water. He seemed totally disinterested in serving us, with no enthusiasm whatsoever, a complete lack of energy in all he did. When he finally returned after we were done eating, I expressed my disappointment about my lunch (which I wish I could have told him sooner so maybe I could have tried something else), and thankfully he removed my meal from the bill. He also apologized for abandoning us at our table. (Adding that nobody even came over to re-fill our salsa, and my mom had to ask the girl helping Juan twice for a refill.) Overall I was really let down by this experience. I love Mexican food and I was excited to come here. I still pressed the 18% tip button when I checked out because my mom enjoyed her tacos, however when I reviewed the receipt after I left I found that their calculator includes the food AND Connecticut state tax as the basis for their tip calculation! Unacceptable!! When businesses do this, it really upsets me. I'm mad at myself for not inputting my own tip, but I honesty did not feel good after lunch. I've been burping constantly since I left and I can tell that the food I ate has upset the balance of the my microbiome =( I feel like I have plastic in my stomach. I walked in on schedule and my food was already waiting for me at the front with the hostess whom was friendly. I was so hungry and decided to find a quaint parking spot to enjoy my food. For the first time I decided hmm maybe I should eat this in the backseat in case I accidentally make a mess. (Best idea ever, it's so much better than eating in the front) Anywho all that information just to say that when I pulled my food out, it was in the most perfect container and it was actually plated so nicely. I don't think I've ever had takeout look so presentable lol. I also appreciated all the garnishes that it came with. I got the tacos birria which also came with rice, I think this is the first time I've had a restaurant serve rice with the birria which I also appreciated, as well as the refried beans. I will say I wish the birria wasn't as soft as it was but I'm sure it was because it sat there for a little. No biggie. Everything was tasty, the consome was good, not the best I've had but it was still good! I also got chips n guac which they give you a really nice portion. I'll be eating guac n chips for the next 3 days hahaha Overall I would return and try something else. Their carne asada looks delicious. Thank you
