Are they open anytime of the day? Maybe not. Can you find me there anytime of the week? Maybe so. Situated on the second floor amongst other restaurants in the Ktown area, Anytime is relatively new. The floor above is karaoke and owned by the same owners. They are open quite late and dish out some seriously tasty dishes! For our food, we ordered their pork and seafood stew, squid ink fried chicken, and their pork belly. Stew - This has the perfect amount of heat paired with some fresh seafood and topped with some puffed rice. The broth was infused with all the fresh flavors of the ingredients and really calms the soul on a rainy day. Fried chicken - Okay. You have to admit this sounds weird. While I'm not sure the ink adds much to the overall dish other than the look factor, I think that this dish was quite good. Although it's not succulent fried chicken and dare I say dry, there's something about this chicken that I can't place my finger. It's just that good! This place is such a unique experience in Korea town! You get taken away from the busy street in Korea town and climb up to the 3rd floor. The service is amazing! For the meal I would start off with their popcorn chicken and the hamachi yummy! Slurpppp For the main course I would highly recommended the ddukboki it's so creamy and has the gochjang sauce to add that extra kick! To the end the meal get the Korean surf and turf soup. The food was good. Would only come back for two of the dishes we ordered. Service was pretty bad. The popcorn chicken had some really nice flavor. They were very generous with the portion of this dish. There was so much chicken. The bassam, pork belly was okay. Not too much flavor and wasn't hot enough. The shrimp poke was just okay as well. Not enough shrimp and way too many garnishes. They were out of a salmon sashimi dish, so we ordered the hamachi ceviche. It was more like a tar tar. It was good. Very small portion though. The ddokboki was the best dish. We saw this on someone else's table and had to order it. Amazing flavor profiles. The flavor of the rice cakes soaked in the sweet cream and savory sauce was incredible. Would definitely come back for this dish. The pomegranate light bulb drink was unique. It had a sour taste, and was served in a large light bulb that flashes different colored lights. Service was bad. They barely checked in on us. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter to get close so we can request a menu so we could order more. We had to wait another 10 minutes after receiving the menu to place the order. You'd think that once you request a menu they would check up on you soon after. Not the case. This was a pattern the whole night, waiting to order more drinks, requesting the check, and asking for napkins. Then when they finally brought us the check they gave us 2 free shots of Macallan 12 because we ordered a lot and spent a lot (the waiter's words). We had 2 glasses of it earlier. This was a nice gesture, but it doesn't make up for the lackluster service throughout the night. The inside gets very loud from all the chatter. Not sure if it's the way the building is constructed, but it was obnoxiously loud. They also told us they don't serve dessert, although I see pictures of cheesecake in other reviews. Such a fun place with amazing Korean tapas dishes that surpassed my expectation as far as creativity and taste. Every dish was amped with flavor and the varying components of each dish brought together different texture that made my mouth happy. Highlights for me were: 1. pork belly (great marinade - lovely , buttery farro or barley ? underneath, and spicy chive kimchi on the side to balance the fattiness of the dish) 2. hamachi ceviche (love the yuzu dressing, but the crispy seaweed things were out of this world), 3. Brussel sprouts (holy moly they were good, so many crunchy bits of fried garlic or shallot? Perhaps fried rice crispies? The flavor was awesome, and the texture was killer). The ok dishes were popcorn chicken (yummy marinade but meat is kinda dry and tough), fried eggplant (okay but not outstanding as the brussel sprout dish), and tuna tartare (liked it but not as much as hamachi). The lightbulb drink was fun. It's made with vodka. The lychee flavor really came through. The peach soju was a revelation. My first flavored soju and it was soooo good! Wonderful new restaurant in Ktown Manhattan, hidden at the top of New Wonjo. They've been open for almost 3 months. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor. Karaoke located on the 4th floor. Ordered their cocktail drinks which were absolutely delicious and sweet. My absolute favorite is the White Peach Cocktail which tastes like the korean convenience store "yogurt". We also tried the cucumber cocktail and pomegranate. Its a unanimous decision that thw white peach was the best. We came in around 1am on a Friday night. Ordered the hamachi ceviche which is an absolute dream. Its one of their most popular dishes. The flavors are absolutely sublime and give your taste buds a slight tingling sensation of spice and sweetness from the fruit. What a wonderful fresh dish. A must order soup dish is the Korean Surf n Turf soup, served over a hot fire. The soup is full of flavor and just on the border of tingling your tongue with hints of spices. The restaurant was generous in giving us a sample of their lava cake dessert on the house! Perfectly gooey chocolate molten center with a korean twist of "halabong" icecream on top. Halabong is a traditional korean tangerine flavor that complimented the sweet chocolate so well. I am absolutely blown out of the water with this restaurant, the service and quality of flavors they put into each dish. I'll be back for their hamachi ceviche and soup recipe. read more

This cute place is up a couple flights of stairs. So dont miss it! They have korean fusion tapas that are absolutely delicious! We had the brussel sprouts, anytime burger, and bossam dishes. The fried brussel sprouts have two things I dont usually like on it (seaweed and nuts), but whatever the chef did to the dish made me change my mind about disliking these two things. It was delicious and just a little bit spicy. The anytime burger was soft and had a really good "thousand island" type sauce on it. The pork belly "bossam" was super tender and the buttery barley underneath was so good! The spicy chives on it also really completed the dish. We had the lava cake for dessert and it had a citrus/fruit kind of ice cream on top with some chocolate bits on the side. It seemed more like a dark chocolate and wasnt too sweet. A great way to end our meal! They have a really "date night" atmosphere here and the waiters (thank you for the wonderful service Jeremy!!) are attentive and friendly. Went here last night with a group of friends and had a great time. They were very accommodating and service was fast and friendly. We had the popcorn chicken, french fries, pork gyoza, and the cheese corn. All of it was very good and reasonably priced. The sochu they had was also very tasty and refreshing. The food were not bad. It's Korean tapas so the portions were small, around 8-10 bites per dish.
