They honored my Groupon I had and it was worth it. Dr. Colleen sat down with me and made me feel at ease allowing me to ask her questions and her expertise made me feel comfortable. Oh man she did her thing... she gave me some much needed adjustments. She explained everything and made sure I understood everything. Awesome place with an amazing staff! The facility itself is very clean and modern. I went in via a Groupon deal I found but will definitely be going back as a regular client. Dr. Colleen knows her stuff and is very detailed in describing what's going on with you. And with instant X-ray technology, she is literally able to show you exactly why you're feeling or experiencing certain things. This was my first chiro session ever and she made me feel very relaxed and at ease. And while I only went in for a chiro session, I noticed they also offer acupuncture at this facility. Worst experience ever! I have Anthem Blue Cross HMO plus, which means I also have the ability to use PPO if facilities don't take HMO. I made an appointment due to severe back and shoulder pain for a massage and chiropractic services. Came in this morning and the woman at the desk said they don't take my HMO insurance. It's funny that several people referred me to their office and we all have the exact insurance plan. I felt that the woman at the desk was becoming very argumentative and did not bother to call and verify my chiropractic PPO services. Instead she showed me her screen that said my HMO will not cover it. Then, proceeded to tell me I would have to pay out of pocket for today's service and then call and verify. I felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation and decided this was not the place for me. If she did her job correctly, she would see that my insurance would cover several visits a year. read more

Once you're in the door and settled with your doctor/massage therapist, it wasn't too bad. Dr. Lee and the male massage therapist (I'm sorry I forgot your name) were very informative and helpful. My review is strictly for customer service or rather, lack thereof. I came in a couple of months ago as a first-time patient. Prior to my first visit, I called them 3-5 days before my first appointment to provide my insurance information. They wanted this information ahead of time to prepare for my visit. Sounds great and professional. Here's where it takes a turn: I arrived early to fill out the necessary forms and proceeded to ask them about my insurance. The front desk looks at me puzzled and tells me they need my insurance info. I explained that I gave it to them several days before the appointment. They apologized, and asked for it again, and told me they will call me to provide that information as soon as they hear back. OK - an honest mistake. No problem. I come back for a massage therapy appointment. I ask about billing and what my insurance said. Again, front desk is puzzled and asks for my insurance information. Now, I'm annoyed. They tried to ask me for another appointment, but I told them I will schedule an appointment when they give me a call about my insurance. They never called me back. I called them a month or so later, and someone told me that my insurance doesn't cover their service. read more

It was an amazing massage with stretches and adjustments. He communicated thoroughly and asked how the pressure was while being very consistent with both sides of my body which I appreciate. The music and ambiance was nice, he even demonstrates the breathing he wants you do do while he massages. I appreciate the communication. He even gave me some tips on how I can stretch certain muscles at home. This was more of a massage with stretches and range of motion which was great. This will be my second review for Apex but my first review for Dr. Christian! All I can say is WOW! I'm 15 weeks pregnant and came in with a headache since the day before, didn't sleep last night because if it. Dr. Christian took his time, he literally could feel all the places I was experiencing pain without me even saying anything. His adjustment was awesome and two hours AFTER my appointment my headache was completely gone. I took a nap woke up refreshed and from there cleaned my house and did the laundry. A coworker told me about Apex and finally I was able to find some relief. They are miracle workers. And they work very quickly- I love it, I am fast paced person so I appreciate that I never have to wait long and that they line up my treatments for this old creaky 40 year old body. First visit to Apex and I'm already hooked. What started as a sports massage appointment, unexpectedly evolved into a series of acupuncture, osteopathic and chiropractic treatments. Basically, I visited three rooms and each time I walked out of one I felt more flexibility and relief in my neck, back and hips. Mind you this was all in the span of 2 hours--certainly wasn't expecting results that quickly. Really is a testament to Apex's exceedingly friendly and professional team.
