Not as cheap as people think, but maintenance service and replacement of worn parts on your motorcycle is also not to bad. Stay on top of your maintenance. People may not realize what a delicate instrument a motorcycle is, and mine is 10 years old! Call around and you will see that Ted's prices are competitive and he is passionate about bikes and fixing them correctly. He has my business from now on. More parts to come. 4/6/19 Just picked up my bike from Ted. I had valve adjustment done, new intake gaskets, and front fork rebuild (probably from wheelies). The problem is that you can't really see any of that. So I also opted to get LED lights installed. You know, for visibility at night (riiight...). As always, Ted does amazing work and my bike (I wanna say purrs like a kitten...but) ROARS like a lion!!! Yes, fixing a bike is expensive and if you can't afford quality work, perhaps you don't make enough to be a bike owner (or do your own wrench work). Ted is the man. Thanks again Ted!

He took my tires off, removed my front forks and then took the parts to the powder coater for me. My bike was stored there for the 3 weeks while we waited for the powder coating to be completed. He then picked up my rims and forks when they were ready, and coordinated with the guy to ceramic coat the parts before putting the bike all back together. Eric did a fantastic job and went over and above to make things happen. He was very reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed working with Eric at Sycho Motorsports.

No appointment needed for safety check or was not rudely turned away from auto mechanic shops when it gets too busy despite making calls and waiting/confirmation before coming over. Was impressed with the service so I came back again. On my recent return, i noticed the hours changed. I miss this place having to be opened until 4:00ish since my last safety check. Still do not need to get out of the car but just need to get your required documents ready as well as the mileage since they will ask from you verbally and check your odometer. Need to follow the staff instructions as asked and they do check window tint. They usually take out the old safety stick and place new one on your bumper but this time, the staff just placed it over my old which I didn't like. I tried asking but no time so maybe next time... This place can get busy since I had to park on the side and wait in line queue outside and reversing back into traffic on queen street can be intimidating at times when it is busy after all is done. $27 safety check fee which includes tax (but add $3 more if paying by debit/credit card). Some stuff changed but still I would still consider this place again for safety check and for convenience.

My partner received pictures and updates along the way, and I truly appreciated the communication, especially since they had my truck overnight. One challenge was how narrow the entrance is when pulling in, but thankfully that wasn't too much of an issue during drop-off. My experience ended up being 4 stars because I paid $704 for diagnostics and a transmission fluid service, only to be told that the transmission issues would likely continue over time. The recommendation given was that replacing the vehicle might be a better option if we didn't want to continue investing money into the truck. Afterward, I reached back out to ask for a quote on either rebuilding or replacing the transmission so I could better understand my options. Unfortunately, I've waited quite a while without receiving a response. At this point, even after spending the money on the diagnostics and service, the truck is still undrivable and sitting in a parking lot while I continue paying for a rental car. I completely understand that transmission work can be complicated, and I am grateful they were able to inspect my truck since I don't know much about transmissions myself. When I first brought the truck in, I also mentioned an issue with my taillight. I was initially told it would be added to the diagnostics at the end, but it was never looked at. I was later informed that I would need to pay an additional $185 just to diagnose the taillight issue. At that point, I decided to simply pick up the truck. The communication was excellent from start to finish while the vehicle was actively being worked on, but as a returning customer, I do feel disappointed that I haven't received any follow-up regarding the transmission quote. I'm hoping someone from the team can reach back out soon so I can better understand what my next steps and costs may be.

They were upfront about their diagnostic fee of $185 plus tax. I needed a new alternator, belt, and battery for my 2006 RAV4. I asked for a rough estimate so I could compare it to a few other shops, and they told me $400-$600 for parts and labor. After reading other positive reviews, I decided to have my car towed from Kaneohe to this shop. The drop-off went smoothly, and I received a call shortly after with two quotes. The first quote was $2,075 to replace the alternator, belt, and battery, and the second was $3,200 to also fix an oil leak in the engine. This is an older vehicle, and the quote was 4-5 times higher than what was originally estimated. I decided to pay the $185 diagnostic fee and take my car to a different shop. After calling around to a few smaller shops, they told me this specific car requires more labor because the radiator has to be removed. However, they said it should cost between $1,000-$1,300 at most. I ended up going to a local shop, and they completed the repairs for $1,150. They also checked for an oil leak and found nothing. This shop not only bait-and-switched me on pricing but also tried to get me to pay an extra $1,200 for a repair I didn't need. I would give 0 stars if I could and will be telling family and friends to avoid this shop, as they are not honest. UPDATE: 04/16/26 I uploaded a picture of the Yelp message coming directly from your company, so you can't call me a liar. 'If you can't produce this, what you're saying isn't just false, it's libel.' That is a direct quote from you. I also wasn't looking for the cheapest repair, I was looking for a fair quote. After visiting your shop I called three different shops and you quoted roughly twice the amount that they did. So I went with a shop that priced right in the middle and had good reviews. It's also interesting that you didn't mention your $1,200 quote for an oil leak that didn't exist. Your pricing is your pricing I just wish you were upfront about it or provided me with a more realistic quote. The shop I went to used all brand-new parts but sold them at cost rather than upcharging their customers. That business has been around for over 30 years, so it's surprising that you would resort to insulting their credibility rather than owning up to your mistake and making things right. Thank you for further proving my point about why people should avoid your shop. Maybe this isn't the experience for everyone, but as a first impression, it guaranteed that I won't be returning. Best of luck with your business.
