I started coming to Apple Nails in October of 2016, and have been going ever since. The nail techs are all sweeter than sugar and the manager Tracy is wonderful. They keep up with all the trends and are able to do pretty much anything you want. I've had them put on clear tips with dried flower inlays, chrome, unicorn, glitter and more. I went to Apple Nails today, which is a Friday afternoon no appointment and was taken right away. The place was clean and everyone was real nice. I had the spa mani/pedi and if you pay cash is $26. I added buffing my nails and that was another$10.I was in and out in no time. read more

I wish I didn't have to write this. I think Tom is great, but I now have a nail that has a wedge out of it and it will never grow back. Tom was doing my nails. He used the polishing machine to give my nails a high shine. He got distracted wih a phone call and burned my nail. I had it checked out by a dr a month later after it started to grow with a wedge missing and a white line from the cuticle to the top and she said that that part of the nail is now dead. My nail will be mutilated for life. With so many choices of salons, I won't be going back. read more

This location is super convenient and reasonably priced. The employees are all very friendly and always fit me in with or without an appointment. I have never noticed that they do not sterilize the equipment as one reviewer noted and I've been here multiple times, but I will keep my eyes peeled. I just walked in to this place to get my nails done while waiting for my hair appt across the street on a Wednesday at 12:30 I was told that they were mopping the floor and couldn't take me. What?! I have been going here for more than a year, and I have NO idea what the person below talking about abusiveness. The main guy who runs it is very customer-oriented and friendly. He has a sense of humor and some people might not find him their cup of tea, but I have always found everyone there extremely nice and professional. I've had great mani-pedis there, I've had so-so ones, but never awful ones. I have never found a place that is 100% perfect if you go there regularly a long period of time, its just a matter of odds. But overall I think this place is very good. It is definitely more expensive than a chop shop -- but they don't rush you through, its spacious, and very very clean. For me, that makes it worth the extra few dollars. So again, in over a year, I have never ever seen or experienced anyone being treated rudly. read more

Went in one random day for a quick polish change on my hands. I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman, and he did a great job. While there I saw a sign for Pedi-Mani combo with a massage, and a few other added services. I took note of that and came back a few weeks later to try it out. I am by no means a Pedi-Mani connoisseur, nor am I overly picky about the job that is being done. I hop nail place to nail place with no problem. That being said, I can't believe I'm writing a review about how terrible a nail salon was. Two ladies did the job at the same time. The pedicure was below average, the cuticles were not cut, she scrubbed my feet as if I were a newborn. The massage wasn't worth paying for. At least the color was even. On to the manicure, same as above. The first coat on my hands were uneven to put it nicely. I made a comment, which I never do, and she did a second coat...which made it even worse. She asked my thoughts about it, to which I said "It just looks...uneven. But it's okay." with no attitude at all. She then painted a third coat to 'fix it', which just made a bad situation even worse. You certainly could tell where each coat started and ended. I am not the type to cause a stink, or complain. I let it go, and just ate my money. Regardless to say, I will not be returning. Be warned. Save your money. Go elsewhere. read more

I am so upset!!! This is actually my first yelp and I sign in just because of them. First we had to wait...then when I got my nails done they did they couldn't do them short...for whatever reason. Love this place! I have been going here for years and it is so much better since the new owner has taken over. The ladies who work there are all so courteous and professional. They are always there to greet me with a smile. The salon is very bright and cheery with new decor. Everyone compliments me on how great my nails look! I went there for a basic pedi. I like the fact that I didn't have to wait long, and the facility is very clean. All of the employees were really courteous and seemed "normal" -- you know how sometimes you go to nail places and hope that "so-and-so" doesn't do your nails--there was no one at Apple like that! They were all really professional. Massage chairs are nice, and it doesn't cost extra to use them. I was a little disappointed when I found out that the basic pedi does not include scrubbing the bottoms of your feet. That's the best part, in my opinion! Everything else I can do almost as well at home. But for the price (basic pedi = $18) my toes and the tops of my feet look fantastic and my legs are soft, so I'm satisfied overall. I never know what to tip...so I tipped $3 and my pedicurist seemed happy about it. Is this normal? I'd love to hear others' thoughts about what to tip the mani person and the pedi person--and should you tip them the same? The minimum charge on cc's is $13, and they charge you $1 transaction fee to pay with a cc, which I think is one of the other reasons I docked them a star. Other than that, for a basic pedi, no frills, this place is great. And, they have all of the latest magazines to read, so that's another plus! read more

I thought this place and the staff were great. I came in late as they were closing up - they stayed open and gave me a standard gel mani. They recently renovated and were working on some side projects while I was there (painting a corner, setting up their wifi) but that didn't bother me. Was nice to see the staff put effort and care into maintaining and upgrading their facilities. I had Helen do my nails who was conversational and very sweet. I came in late sunday (5:30pm) since I was a bit desperate and this place is across from my Trader Joe's. The place was empty so they were able to take me right away. There were only 3 people working. Manicure was average - took about 20 minutes. Nails look ok. Not great or amazing, but fine for me just wanting a quickie manicure. The shop seemed like it didn't have AC and was sort of messy/haphazard inside. They didn't really seem to have that many polish options but I brought my own color so didn't look too closely. First of all it was hot as hell inside the shop. Second, the mani/pedi combo is $30. I picked out a polish that was $2 extra. Then I was hustled into getting a callus removal before even agreeing to it. The massage was just ok and they asked if I wanted extra 5 mins which is extra $5. I said no thanks. They kept asking to upgrade the basic mani pedi to the deluxe. Over all the total bill was $40 and I tipped in cash. Was not happy with how they shaped my nails and toes. The polish had bubbles. Was not impressed by this place at all. I felt super hustled. I don't recommend this place and definitely will not be back. read more

Apple Nails is my neighborhood nail place. Great spot all around, but this review is mainly for Susan, who gives a killer massage, as well as a great mani/pedi! I have a hard time finding massage therapists who are able to really break up the tension in my back, neck and shoulders, but Susan is amazing! Communication problem is what I have been experiencing here a few times now. I ask for one shape - get another. Asked not to fill the natural nail part with , it was filled. Then they said they will fix it and filed my nails so much - they are now pink and sensitive... too thin... the reason I wanted them not to touch that part is cause I wanted them to get a break from fake nails and heal. Instead - they are now damaged and kinda hurt. Pretty unhappy with the results. Shape looks ok (not really into it but don't have time to keep fixing it anymore)now after a lot of back and forth explaining the same thing... stressful experience and now I'll have to probably fill my nails again cause they are now too thin to last on their own. Took another look at my nails: they don't like the k good, they don't feel good, and they are damaged and hurt on the left side. Pretty dissatisfied with my overall experience. STOP DON'T GO! HORRIBLE! The men that run this nail place from Vietnam are ABUSIVE. I walked in and excitedly asked for the woman who had done my mani-pedi once who did a good job. An Asian man angrily barked at me, that she was no good and he had sent her back to Vietnam!!! Then I waited 45 minutes for a mani-pedi. The Pedicure was horrible and when I asked for some adjustments to the pedicure the woman who was doing the pedi also from Vietnam would not kindly review the work she had done. Instead the same rude Vietamese man came over and started yelling at me about another customer who was upset about their bad experience we all listened to ten minutes before. Then the man lifted up my foot and painfully dug his nail into my middle toe and bullied me to leave in the middle of my pedicure!!! He made me pay like I was some person not worthy of payment(meanwhile I valet parked my car and had just eaten dinner next door!!!) FOOEY! This place is a bad business and needs to be reported. Don't be fooled by this place! They are abusive! We believe a private investigation needs to be done on this aweful business taking up West Hollywood prime real estate. After researching reviews we found other reviews to describe our same experience and found that this is a tactic this bad business owner does when they are questioned about the bad manicures, pedicures---Not to mention the vibe sucks.
