Don't know how I haven't reviewed them yet, probably because I've never snapped a photo I was happy with- our favorite teriyaki joint in the area. The sauce is not as thick or sweet as others, it's a much more "classic" Seattle teriyaki flavor with great char. We've been eating here for years, our meals are always ready fast and are generously sized. I prefer beef, the rest of my family gets the classic chicken. read more

Very rude customer service. The lady hung up on the phone as I was trying to order telling me to be ready when I call. I proceeded to call again then she acted like she couldn't hear me. I went in to let her know she needs to be nicer especially working in customer service, she raised her voice saying how busy it was and walked away (the place was empty)!!! The water that comes from the water cooler is simply water from the sink. Not filtered at all. The lady taking my order never told me the total just waited for me to hand her my card. You can tip the order but the screen appears though your only option is to tip. read more

We've been eating here since they opened years ago. The last year has seen a big decline of the food and service. Last night it was ridiculous. Cold food OLD chicken, not even edible. My wife took it back, first time in 40 years I've ever seen her return something anywhere. The lady was very rude. We weren't even looking for a refund. One of my all-time favorite places to grab chicken teriyaki when I'm in the Woodinville area. Air quality and service are consistently excellent and I've never been disappointed with any of their food selections, although, as I said, my favorite is the chicken teriyaki. They do have a full Asian menu with popular dishes you'd find in any Asian restaurant and appetizers to go with. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. read more

Ambiance is underwhelming not to mention dirty looking. The food safety handling score only had a "good" versus excellent. This place used to serve food on actual plates with real utensils, but has since switched to using only to go food boxes, plastic utensils. Bathroom cleanliness marginal. Food was okay and not what it used to be back even 4-5 years ago from a quality and taste standpoint. All this on top of the bad attitude from the clerk behind the counter didn't make for a very nice experience at all. Super rude front desk lady, slow service, terrible food! We came and that rude lady took order, and impatiently told that it would take over 10 minutes, as if we added hassle to her for ordering here. Then 10 minutes later we returned, seeing her packing food. We asked "Is it ours?" That rude lady yelled "I need time!" Alright we didn't mean to urge her but whatever. Finally when we go the food we want to make sure we got everything, so asked "Is that everything?" The rude lady wrathfully yelled "what do you mean by is that everything?" We didn't bother to deal with her so we took food and went out quickly. The food was barely edible. Over cooked, dry, and over sweetened food. This place totally surprised me. Was working near by and thought I would give it a try. Best chicken teriyaki I've ever had, period. Came back today while nearby again and again, still the best! I was in the neighborhood and hungry, spotted this place and stopped by. I ordered the broccoli beef/chicken teriyaki combo. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes. No problem, it's a quiet time (3:00 PM) and that means it would be fresh. Sat outside for a bit, came back in, picked up my food and went back out to eat a bit. First of all, for less than $12 it was a LOT of food. I ate half and saved half for another meal. It was hot, fresh, not overly seasoned or salty, and really good. read more

This has become one of our favorite teriyaki places. It has one of the only broccoli and beef dishes my son will eat and with such a picky eater it is a lifesaver. My kids love the large portions too and that is also a reason I like this place. Due to the size of the plates, I can save on dinning out. My son's also love the rice. The food is in similar to what I have gotten from any teriyaki place (meaning sweet type sauce etc). I enjoy the tempura. My husband likes the spicy chicken teriyaki. read more

This place is extremely filthy, they don't clean the tables and chairs. When I attempted to wipe the crumbs of one of the tables the napkin was brown from all the dirt on the surface of the table. When I told the lady at the register she tried to sell me a bag for $.10, basically telling me to take my order to go. Mind you 2 people are sitting in the entire place and no other customers. AVOID: Unbelievably poor service and rude owners. I came in around dinner time and ordered one dish. After waiting in the restaurant 15+ minutes, I went back to the counter and checked on my order - for which I had left a generous tip in advance. The order was sitting on the counter - hadn't even been given to the kitchen. 10+ orders were stacked for other customers while mine was ignored. When I asked to cancel the order since I needed to move on, the owner became angry and belligerent. She helped other customers and forced me to wait even longer, then couldn't make her credit card machine refund, then pocked the tip. This was far from "tippable service" and a disturbing experience. While the food here may be okay, once you finally get it - the restaurant has a dirty and filthy feel that is concerning. It could use a thorough cleaning and ensure soap and hand disinfectant is available at the counter and restroom. I won't be back. Ever. read more

No common sense..... my husband ordered through door dash and I picked up the order. Gave my husbands name and order and the lady refused to give me the food. She said she needed to see the app. I showed her screen shots that my husband sent and still she didn't want to give me the food. Like lady do you think I'm honestly coming in with my 2 kids and know the name of the person on the order (uncommon name) and the exact order and try to steal somehow?! Anyways long story short, had my husband on speaker and he politely explained that if she didn't want to give us our food we would take it up with door dash and get refunded. She gave it to me. The cashier lady has no manners at all. A group of us came in and she got upset because it was 8 of us. She seemed very agitated, while trying to order she could not understand me and I couldn't understand her. I politely asked if she was having a bad day, because you know everyone has bad days.. but no she's just plane rude. Food is good , but the lady was extremely rude. I purchase a pineapple Jarrito and when I open it the bottle was broke. Went to the counter and ask for a replacement, she refuse to gave me a refund or replace my drink, in which case I was like there no way am just getting ripped off.
