Slowest service ever. I came here for lunch with 5 other coworkers. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, and most of us (5/6 people) ordered soup and salad combo. Not only did the meal take a long time to come to the table, the waitress was MIA after we got our food to check in on us. There is a challenge being too honest when people in Kentucky are just so friendly and polite. But here we go, the ratings don't make this a stand out location. Something is up. We were on the road and after a 10hr day, wifey wanted a salad. Her chicken Ceasar was ok. Not terrible, but it fab. I had the lime shrimp mex bowl. The cilantro rice was surprisingly good, but as a whole the flavor was not doing it for me. Too much of the lime tasting sauce. I did order my first and only old fashioned in Kentucky. It was sad. Mostly muddled orange. Maybe I don't know what is an old fashioned even though I have had more than a few, I just don't remember it being an orange infused cocktail that was way too sweet. Seems like a few locals and a few passers by. Place is hospitable and the staff nice and helpful but can't carry for the other Shortcomings. Maybe some insight QC program could help. read more

You get what you expect from an Applebees. There are a few exceptions here and there but this one fits the mold. Short staffed, two servers on either side can't handle three tables each while the bartender has 15-20 easy. Not sure if they were in the kitchen helping or they just didn't care but their attendance was sporadic at best. They advertise an all you can eat boneless wings but it takes so long to get fried food that you get the standard order anyway. If they were staffed and trained correctly it would probably be a different experience but even management was barely on the floor to assist. The only kudos I can give is to Kristen the server because while she was being yelled at by the gentleman in front of us for the same thing she held her composure. read more

The night shift staff is lazy foremost. Whomever is in charge locks the door at 10:50PM when it states it doesn't close until 12. They don't answer the phone. When you do come in a hour or two before close no one is paying attention everyone is doing things elsewhere and avoiding clients. It's your typical Applebee's and the Happy Hour dead are great M-F from 3-6pm is 1/2 off apps. My husband and I will come here have a drink or two and 2 or 3 apps and rarely spend over $25. There was a very small wait at the front, but we were seated and our drink orders were taken promptly. The place was pretty empty. We started with the combo appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were good, the quesadillas as well. The honey bbq boneless wings were great, and the spinach dip and chips were fine but lukewarm. We both got the all you can eat for 14.99. It took a bit to come but I started with the riblets, which were really good and so were the fries. My grandma got the shrimp which were excellent. I also got shrimp after the riblets, and were hot and good. We took the wings portion home. It was a delight to find out we could switch out between the 3 meats per refill. I stopped in Applebees for dinner on a Wednesday evening with my wife and 4 yo grandson. The service was fair although the food was a little slow coming out, maybe 30 minutes although I wasn't timing them. My grandson got an activity sheet and a couple of crayons so he was occupied for most of the wait. I had the bourbon mushroom Swiss burger and fries. There was about 3x too much garlic on this mess. You couldn't pick it up because it simply fell apart. It was like trying to eat a soup sandwich. On the other hand my wife's pasta dish was dry and seemed like it had been sitting. My family and I dined at Applebee's for Veterans Day since my parents are veterans and they were able to get a free entree (they were also offered a free beer!) For my meal I ordered the Chicken Wonton Stirfry which I really enjoyed. The flavor was a little spicy (but not too much) and the portion was exactly the right amount for me to feel satisfied but not too full. I really like how this restaurant includes the calorie count of each meal on the menu - this helped me to make a more healthy decision for my meal. Service was also excellent. read more

My husband and I have been here a couple times; most recently, we came just to get ourselves a green beer on St. Patrick's Day without driving all the way to Lexington (although I argued that I could simply make green beer at home with the beer and food dye we already had). ANYWAY. The best deal we can get here is the 2 for $20. With that, you get a choice of appetizer and two entrees. You can't just get any appetizer and any entree off the menu -- there's a select few offered with this deal -- but there's good options for everyone. I usually prefer to get a pasta entree. It's not the best tasting dish ever, but it does the job -- yummy and stuffs me full. Yes, this location is your typical upper-priced American fare with a small bar and several televisions. Beers, drinks, appetizers, foods, desserts, got your basics covered. Clean, friendly, good for groups. Also great for a night out if you don't want to sit at Steak N Shake or a crowded Buffalo Wild Wings. Whenever we go to Applebee's, it's kind of a 'treat' because it's more money than we usually spend these days going out to eat (if we go out at all). Tight budget = eat more at home. I'm glad Georgetown has Applebee's as an option, though. read more

Wife and I waited for 15min at entrance door inside to be seated. We were the only ones there. Looked like around 45 customers sitting eating and drinking watching the televisions. Me and my family went to Apple Bee's on Fathers Day and it wasn't the best atmosphere. Not only that, but the service was bad. We had our waitress switch on us, and we had to wait on the other one to assist us. They were really slow to deliver our food on a Sunday. We waited for a half an hour, and they were not even BUSY! But it gets worse, after waiting "forever" the food wasn't even right, my mom told then she wanted her steak to be well done and it was still raw in the middle. They left my mom's cheese for her backed Potato, and my brother didn't get bacon on his sandwich. This is like any other Applebee's chain you visit. Same menu and same friendly service. You can have anything from a salad to a steak and many combinations in between. Their food is great and the staff is friendly. The dining area was extremely clean and the fully stocked bar was crowded. The wait staff was extremely nice and helpful even though they were experiencing a bit of a rush at the time. It is a great place to go for a lunch rush in my opinion. The restrooms were a bit dirty for my taste, but other than that. I suggest anyone to pay them a visit. read more

I came here with my daughter who is in a wheelchair. No one was at the front door to greet us and let us in as one typically would be. There was no handicap buttons on the door to automatically open the doors so it was a bit difficult to get in the doors. Anyways, the food was good, a bit pricey but good but there server was a bit rough around the edges and almost refused to take my coupon making up her own rules about how and when I could use it despite the small print on the coupon. Me and my family eat it Applebee's 2 to 3 times a month since the pandemic there's always been issues with the food or the service last night. Me and my family went to Applebee's. The food was extremely salty. The associates were walking around while waiting on tables talking on their cell phones, this Hass to be the most unpleasant experience I've had since I've been eating at this establishment it was not very many people inside. I didn't understand why at first but after getting that salty burger, fries and chicken we all decided we're not going back to Applebee's for quite some time, I only was the food horribly salty the service sucked. The associates were not attentive. They were more concerned with their telephones in a private lives than the customers I was going to ask to speak to a manager, but at this point it didn't matter they would've just given me a block of salt and sent me on my way. Me and my girlfriend came in and ordered pasta. It was completely disgusting and my beer tasted like cleaning supplies. The bartender ignored the fact that 90 percent of the food was left in the bowl and then attempted one sentence of small talk before handing us the check. 40 dollars completely down the drain and left feeling very uncomfortable with paying for that "food". As I sit here waiting for my corrected bill, I have decided to write my first ever one star review. We started off with coffee that was probably made for the lunch crowd. My wife ordered the small chicken finger platter with French fries and I ordered the Fiesta lime chicken. After what I would consider an inordinate amount of time for a nearly empty restaurant, our food arrived without silverware. We reminded the waitress and waited another 10 minutes for silverware. By the time our silverware arrived my dish was cold and the cheese no longer melted. However I did notice our waitress had plenty of time to chat with her friends sitting at another table. It was served without the lime and pico de gallo. I reminded our waitress that I needed lime then was told she was new to the floor and was unfamiliar with the menu items. Our bill arrived and my wife was charged for the large chicken finger dinner that included cole slaw. When we pointed out the error we were told they could only take $1.50 off our bill because we had been served two extra, but undesired, chicken fingers. The difference in the large chicken fingers and small was $2. So for fifty cents they lost our future business. read more

Tables are not clean. Very sticky! Blinds have dust and drink or food stains built up on them. Not very appetizing place to be. Ordered chips and salsa for appetizer and chips were not fresh. Salsa tasted like chewing tobacco. Ordered water with lemon, got the water but no lemon. Hamburger was good but the fries were small bits and pieces. Service was good but wait for food was too long. Our first trip to the Georgetown Applebee's in over 3 years will probably be our last trip the menu has changed drastically, the service isn't as good as it used to be and the atmosphere was a letdown. We had a gift card that was given to us by Friends, so we decided to try it it was around 3 on a Saturday afternoon we will seated promptly the server was a little slow and getting car table we ordered two tees, and said we would like to look at the menu being that it changed , as we looked all we could find was Stir Fry which is another word for the in cuts of meat and vegetables that are on their way out try to find a steak wasn't one on the lunch menu did find ribs so we both ordered the short ribs will have to say they was very good but we waited 30 minutes on them to give them to us they didn't come with baked potato the only thing you can order was french fries that went with them I can eat french fries at a fast food restaurant but I choke them down the tea was a little weak but she did ask us if we wanted a refill and dessert but we refuse the desert got a refill. I think the place was a little loud I could use a good cleaning. I don't really recommend this Applebee's I do know they're all not the same some are good some are not but this one I do believe will be on their closing list soon read more
